WHEN HER HAUNTED PAST COMES TO AVENGE HER WILL SHE SURVIVE TO TELL THE TALE?

Former Army Ranger Sniper, Ember “Emmy” Hayes has left her days as a lethal markswoman behind and returned to civilian life in her hometown in Texas. Years after leaving the battlefield, the battlefield has found her and her old enemy will go to hell and back to strike revenge against the one deemed the Devil Woman. Though she’s a member of Hellforce by proxy, her friendship with Eli has cemented her place in the group and the Alphas of Hellforce will rain hellfire to get back one of their own.

IS TRUE LOVE WORTH LOSING THE ONE YOU LOVE?

Elijah “Slate” Ryan has been in love with his childhood friend, Emmy Hayes, for as long as he can remember. Eli and Emmy grew up side by side after the Hayes family took him under their wing and mentored him when he lost his father at the age of five. Years of longing from the shadows and loving from a distance, Eli will decide if the adage is true, “If you love something set it free.”

Even if love is lost, Eli is determined to lay it on the line. And when his love is taken, he’ll go to hell and back to save the love of his life. John “Tex” Keegan helps Hellforce to bring back one of their own.

Saving Emmy is a full-length novel and the second book of the Hellforce series. It takes twists and turns that will have you on the edge of your seat but will leave no cliffhanger ending.

Defenders of the abused.
Protectors of the innocent.
Guardians of the exploited.

Slate and five former Delta teammates make up the security team that is Hellforce. They’ll delve into the bowels of hell to bring home those lost to the deep underworld.

Saving Emmy: Special Forces Operation Alpha: Hellforce Security: Alpha Team Book 2 is by Rayne Lewis. This is a really good book and it keeps your attention with all the action going on.
Eli and Ember have been friends since kindergarten. They have weathered all the teasing that went on at school. Eventually his homelife became so bad that he moved in with Ember’s family and they accepted him wholeheartedly. When it got close to graduation, her Father told Eli that he knew Eli’s feelings were more than friendship with Ember and basically gave his permission. However, his permission to pursue her. However, Eli decided he didn’t want her to miss out on anything in college. Instead, he joined the army and entered the special forces. Upon his return, he was reunited with Ember who had also joined the army. Now, he worked for King at Hellforce Security while she ran the gun range and worked for her Dad.
Then, a guest at her gun range was shot and killed by a member of the Buhwar family. He was jailed and the rest of his family disappeared. She thought she recognized his eyes but couldn’t remember him at all. Until they knew why he shot the man in her range, she was put under protective custody. She began having flashbacks to her time in Afghanistan.
Who was this killer? Why did he kill the man in her gun range? Was she in danger or was the danger over?

Saving Emmy by Rayne Lewis
This is book two of the author's Hellforce Security Team series and I have to tell you that it has left me craving for the next book. This is Emmy Hayes and Elijah "Slate" Ryan's story who have been friends since childhood when she defending him from the bully on the playground. But Slate has always been waiting for Emmy to realize that his heart has always been hers. The conversations between Emmy's parents are very funny especially Mitch her dad talking about her sister Rhys.

Emmy Hayes was a sniper with Slate's Deltas but now owns a gun range but when her past comes back to haunt her an innocent patron is shot by mistake the entire Hellforce team and Tex will help find out who wants her dead. But when both Emmy and her father are taken hostage the entire team will do whatever it takes to rescue them.

Elijah Ryan has always loved only one girl Emmy and he's waited patiently for just a sign to let her know how much he loves her . But when someone is shot at her gun range he knows that it's time to let her know and that he wants to be her forever. But first they need to find Omar Bashwar who's determined to make her pay for a sniper op years ago.

A couple of surprising revelations, a deadly vendetta, a devastating injury, some laugh out loud funny conversations, a few charmingly touching moments and some hard hitting action make Saving Emmy outstanding reading. There's even a possibility of the demise of Hellforce because big men with bigger egos butting heads that causes a major rift in the team.

Eli "Slate" Ryan and Emmy Hayes have been best friends and shared a special bond since kindergarten. He fell in love when she slugged a bully defending him. He's her protector, her confidante, her partner in crime but every time he tries to let her know he wants more she shoves him right back into the best friend zone. Now she's in danger and he's not willing to leave her protection to anybody but himself. It's decision time for Slate though. He has to lay it all on the line once and for all to Emmy and pray she not only accepts but returns his feelings. Otherwise, he'll have to finally walk away.

Omg so in love!!!

This was amazing!! Was so glad we got Ember and Eli’s book second after the kick ass book for Mary and king. Eli is swoon worthy. Strong alpha, and the bestest best friend to ember. He has loved her his whole life but she has relegated him to the friend zone and is oblivious to his feelings. She starts to see things differently and it’s like watching a person bloom. But it was so hard to see the past memories of all the times he had to be so close and yet so far away from her love because she kept him in the BFF space. Emmy and Eli are perfect for one another. They balance each other and have that teasing BFF love foundation to build upon with steamy happy moments. Loved how her family treats him as their own. And that they both got to be their firsts! Wow. Can’t wait for next book. I think it might be Cy and maven!!

Right in front of you

A great romance and military esq action story. Ember is one of my favorite female characters in the Operation alpha world to date and this story had her covering all angles of emotions and action. Seeing her with Eli and their relationship over the years and now present was sweet and funny, especially with the rest of the teams commentary. This story focuses a lot on King (who is amazing) and then built up Maven and a few of the unit. The dynamics between everyone was fascinating ajd the writing of the team, family, romance and action was fast paced and fun. A great read.

richly deserved

So glad Ember and Eli get their happy ever after. Ember and Eli have been best friends since kindergarten when Eli was pretty much adopted into Ember’s family, however whilst he has known he was in love with her for years and has saved himself for her she has firmly friend zoned him declaring he was like a brother. After they both left the military, Eli to join Hellforce and Ember suffering with PTSD everyone knows they are meant to be together except Ember but she’s beginning to feel something different for him . Unfortunately Ember’s past comes back to bite her and Eli and the guys have to step up to save her. Excellent book.

What an amazing friends to forever read. I couldn't stop reading yet didn't want it to end. Such heart, romance and yes tears. A really great storyline and enjoyed seeing their history woven in all the way back to kindergarten. Plenty of suspense and action, great banter between all the characters. You definitely get a real feel for the characters and supporting characters through the writing. Definitely a recommended read from me. I received a free copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving a review

Saving Emmy

Action packed from the very beginning! Some action takes place while the guys are on missions and some of the action happens when the guys are at home. Emmy and Eli have known each other since they were 5 but Emmy didn't realize her best friend was also in love with her. When a murder at her shooting range throws Emmy into danger more things happen in their life than ever expected. Can Eli convince Emmy that he loves her and they belong together forever? Can he work up that courage before she is stolen out from under him and lost forever?

Finally! Eli and Ember

Finally! Eli and Ember get over themselves and admit there is more to their lifelong best friend status.... There's a lifelong love...which everyone could see but them. Eli is swoon worthy and sweet. Em is strong, fiesty, and one tough woman. Shew, so glad this slow burn friends to lovers tale finally erupted into passion. With danger, action, intense edge of you seat suspense, and humor; this story with a heart warming HEA full of emotions was a great read.

This book features Elijah (Slate) Ryan and Emmy Hayes, childhood friends, both military, with Emmy becoming a sniper. Eli works at Hellforce Security and after leaving the army Emmy runs a gun range. When her past army life comes back to haunt her and Ember’s life in danger, Eli realizes that he needs to let her know his true feelings and take the chance on building a life together..
A great story with hilarious banter and one liners, romance, suspense, danger to her family and plenty of action.

OMGEE

I love this series and I love loved loved Emmy and Eli . Nothing is better than a forever love and when
They are best friends from kindergarten it’s even better. I laughed and I cried and I’ve decided Emmy is my twin . The use of the words sexcapades is exactly a word I’ve used and I got quite the looks when I’d bust out laughing at Emmys inner thoughts. Do yourself a favor and read this book and save it for when you need to laugh or cry.

Another great book in the series! These stories are so captivating that I can barely put them down. It was nice to revisit the crew and get another glimpse at King and Mary and their life. Eli and Ember were a great couple, I just wish they would’ve really gotten together a bit earlier in the book. The suspense and a action was thrilling and the little steam there was, was hot!! I will definitely be reading the next book when it comes out! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Eli and Ember

Eli and Ember have known each other since kindergarten and are best friends. But Eli has been in love with her all this time. How does he tell her that he wants to be taken out of the friend zone? If she doesn't want to cross that line, will he be able to let her go?

Rayne Lewis shows her talent not only for hilarious scenes like the grocery store, but for the awkward and gut wrenching conversations like with Em's father. I could not put this book down.

Loved This Story

I have absolutely fallen in love with this author’s writing. I’ve read the first book 3 times already. I knew this book would be special. The relationship between Eli and Emmy, Eli with her parents were wonderful backdrops to build the story on. There were so many layers to this story that I know I will be rereading this as well.

No disappointment here. Plenty of action, danger and suspense. Emmy was a sniper in the Army, one of her kill shots are coming back to haunt her. Levi has loved her forever, but she keeps him in the friend zone, until something changes their lives forever. Loved Maven, her best friend, some of the things that come out her mouth, just cracks me up. HEA.

This is the second book in the series and I liked it better than the first. I'm not sure I really buy into the whole "I have no idea my best friend is in love with me - for almost 20 years - and don't notice" bit, but it's a work of fiction, so I'll roll with the punches. It was a sweet love story and I really liked Slate and Emmy together. On to the next one...

Worth the Wait!!
Told from the POV of both characters, finally Slate (Elijah) and Ember (Emmy) get their act together and admit that after being lifelong friends there is more to the relationship than friendship.
Brilliant storyline, fantastic characters and absolutely loved the HEA.
Looking forward to reading Maven's story next.

I liked this book better than the first. Slate & Embers relationship makes more sense than Mary & King. I liked the slow burn.

I’m not jumping at the plot of Cy & Maven for book 3. But I’ll probably read it seeings as the second book was better than the first in my opinion. So an upward trend.

In my opinion this book has it all and you really don’t want to miss the journey that Eli and Emmy must go to get their HEA! All of the feels, whodunnit, PTSD…and Eli is there for Emmy thru it all and when they both realize the love they have Emmy is snatched…will Eli and the team get to her in time? What a gut wrenching romance♥️♥️♥️

Amazing love story

Emmy's story started with Embry's novella, it was great to read how she survived and thrived. Eli loved Emmy since kindergarten but she kept him in the friend zone until she couldn't anymore. Great read. I shed tears numerous times throughout the book.

Dangerous love

Eli knocked on the solid oak door and let himself in. This house was as much home to him as the house he shared with his mom growing up. The Hayes’ were as much his family as were his brothers at Hellforce.
