I'm just a college grad who writes for a living.

Hi there! I'm I.O. Scheffer (pen name) and I'm a recently published author who lives in Ohio (a swing state).

I'm a fan of respectful debate, good anime, mystery and suspense, art of all kinds, singing, playing music on my piano and guitar, dogs, mythological beings, ghost hunting, and true crime.

I want to reach people who feel alone. I know what it's like to be bullied and ostracized (that was my elementary school experience, which sucked) so I incorporate these familiar themes into my writing. I love diversity (esp. as a person in the LGBTQ community) and focus particularly on intellectual diversity, which is integral to a functioning society.
