She came here to take his land, In return, he stole her heart. But fate still has another surprise in store…
Lola MacLean is a Texan with Scottish roots, unsure of her life plan but conscious she isn’t moving towards it. But E everything changes when she lands in Scotland and finds herself stuck on the land she’s least welcome on, instructed not to leave until she can convince the crumbling-castle-dwelling hermit who lives there to sell.
It just so happens that the hermit in question is a strapping, redheaded hunk… who also happens to be her clan’s long-sworn enemy.
Despite the centuries of war and spilled blood between them, it’s not long before the two grow closer, and Lola begins to question where her loyalties truly lie.
Love Can Resolve A Feud - Lola wasn’t really prepared for the business trip her father sent her on and things started going wrong from the moment she landed. Arran was a grumpy recluse, who preferred his own company and didn’t like interacting with strangers. Their first interaction was antagonistic, but it only got worse when Arran discovered who she was and he tried to throw her off his property.
Unfortunately, circumstances beyond their control meant Lola was unable to leave and spending time together brought them closer. However, just as they embarked on a semblance of a relationship, Lola’s dad threw a wrench in their plans and reeked havoc on their lives. It would take Lola’s determination and her life changing new to give them the strength and confidence to fight for the opportunity to have a happily ever after.
This was a brilliantly written story set in an idyllic location in the Scottish Isles, with great characters from different worlds and a storyline that delved into the long held traditions and feuds of the past. It is a story that highlights the fact that, true love can conquer all, but you have to be open to find it. It is a definite must read book from a great author.

An absolute fabulous read of the Scottish countryside and brutal clan disputes actually could be. The resulting truce between warring clans. Feelings run deep in these clans with the past never to be forgotten no matter how many centuries had past. Lola MacLean was sent to Scotland from Texas by her father to obtain property from Arran Campbell. When the Campbells and the MacLeans had been fueding clans for over two hundred years. Lola knew nothing of the clan history. She only knew Arran was grumpy, but he did agree to let her stay as her rental car got stuck in the mud. It turned out, they shared an unbelievable chemistry between them.

It took me a minute before I got into this story. Lola and Arran's first meeting was charged with all kinds of emotions. These two played off of the other so well that the story was fun and funny. The people of the village were as expected with their ears out for gossip and her dad was not my favorite with his trickery and underhanded dealings. To see his slippery words come back to bite him was so rewarding!.

I have a special fondness for Scottish HEA stories! This story was wonderful. Aaron was a very stubborn man! It’s a good thing that his HEA was patient and loving. ENJOYABLE!!!
