The pictures in this book are not as good as I think they could be. There are some really good pictures that are really detailed. This book does a good job though of laying out the general life cycle of animals. From this book a teacher could go further into detail and do a unit on the life cycle of a frog or a butterfly. A teacher could actually bring in a tadpole or a caterpillar so students can see the life cycle of these animals.
