What are the Ebrellions? Ms. Harte needs to write another set of books in this Creations world. There is still so much to explore! The Ebrellions turn into six legged...Trells? These are like insects but not? What the hell are they?
In this last installment of the Creations series, Tarn is an undercover agent to retrieve a cube his nephew is tasked to find. Tarn is in a MMA cage underground slave fighting nightmare. Bored with is babysitting job at the bar he owns, Tarn is up for the challenge. This is where he finds Zachem'zen. This is a shock as Zachem'zen is also a Creation. Since Creations are killed when found as they are psychotic killers, it's amazing Zachem'zen is alive and controlled.
More questions crop up in this story than answers. It's frustrating to learn more about this world only to find out this is the last bloody book in the series. Someone needs to tell Ms. Harte to get her little ass moving and write another set to this world. At least another set! Still, the m/m in this story is HOT HOT HOT! Yes, it's written for women who want to read m/m sex. Regardless, this book goes into my spank bank. Zachem'zen is a sweet enslaved beast. Tarn is a hot lethal warrior. What is not to like? The undercurrents of BDSM with heavy emphasis on D/s is amazing. LOVE IT! This book is recommended to kinky readers who enjoy m/m sci-fi themes.

My browser crashed and I lost the review I was typing. Too lazy to redo it but I was saying I liked this 2nd installment, that I'm giving it 5 stars even though no one does M/M sci-fi romance like Morgan Hawke in her Interstellar Service & Discipline series. I've given up on ever seeing another equal to Hawke so yeah, 5 stars it is to Caging the Beast, compared to what I'm getting out there these days.
Zachem's a Creation, a kind of hybrid species created in a lab. He finds himself betrayed and ends up in The Pit where he's the star gladiator, the crowd favorite. Tarn is an Ebrellion, a race that has special powers such as teleporting, telepathy and shapeshifting.
The development of their relationship from suspicion to trust, ending with love, a lot of hot sex in between made this a very enjoyable intergalactic ride.

Because I'm mean I'll only give it 3 stars, but I warmly recommend it to those who like very strong subs and alien shapeshifting doms. The ending was a happy revenge filled bloodbath and that is another plus. How many sweet, love filled MM stories end with that sort or "honeymoon"? *crazy grin

Not a fan of M/M books but as part of a series, I feel I need to read it to glean any information I need going forward. That being said, there are no more in this series as yet. If there ever will be.
I skipped a lot of the interaction between Tarn and Zachem. Seemed like lots of dominance/sub interaction with all the accompanying, I am your Master blah.
Did feel sorry for Zachem and was really glad he found a safe HEA with others of his kind through Tarn.
The ending was great.

I wish I was one that made comments / took notes on my thoughts as I was reading a book. I did not realize I hadn't reviewed this already and now it has been weeks. Unfortunately, I do not retain stuff well. I will do my best to remember what I can.
For good cheesy SEXY fun I had loved Creations Control, but I felt somewhat let down by this one. It didn't flow well in parts. The ending and mating issues seemed too similar to previous books in the series. I liked the idea of the plot. but at times I felt like I didn't have enough background / information. Though still sexy, it wasn't hot enough to overcome the plot holes.
It wasn't a bad read. Just nothing made it stand out. If you love sci-fi and want to whittle away time with some mindless reading then this would fit the bill.

Excellent read, futuristic setting.
If you're looking for this in a print edition - it was released as Creations: Vol 1 - containing The Perfect Creation and Creating Chemistry.
The second volume, Creations: Vol 2 contains Creation's Control and Caging the Beast.
In my opinion, these are incorrectly ordered. I'm sure they were packaged that way because Creation's Control and Caging the Beast are both male/male love stories.
These stories are very tightly linked. Correct reading order should be:
The Perfect Creation
Creation's Control m/m
Creating Chemistry menage
Caging the Beast m/m

This is the only book that I have read in this series because I "thought" I wouldn't be interested in the others. I am rethinking that. You have lab created species who either make love or make war, awesome, blood and sex. Six legged, scaley beasties that can teleport and are the best ultimate fighters. Add plot and viola, my kind of sci-fi book...with smut of course.

I loved this story! It was so good! I'm sorry it's the last of the Creations stories. They were a really fun people to read about. This one is about a Creation, the Beast, and an alien Ebrellion, and their escape from slavery and falling in love. I would love to read more about the Ebrellions, they sound fascinating. 4.5 stars.

Good world building. It's been a few years since I'd read the previous book in this series, but there is plenty of explanation and setting incorporated into the story that I didn't feel like I was floundering to understand the story's progression. I enjoy Marie Harte's writing style - an easy and enjoyable read.

ああ、受け攻めが逆でさえなければ、俺様攻めと強気受けで、ＢＤＳＭなやり取りも良かったのですけどね。体格差カプで受けがデカい方で固定というのは、私の好みじゃない（＞＜；）それでＤ／ｓなやり取りするんだから萎える。ああ、カプが逆だったら好みだったのに。
受け攻め固定でＢＤＳＭ趣向、強い者同士だけど、受けのほうが体がデカいというのが好きならお勧め。未来宇宙のＳＦ設定で宇宙版古代ローマという感じの世界観です。

Interesting world and story, good characters and good pace. It made phantom leaps between situations that I found amateurish and stupid, but the hot sex and the great chemistry between everyone made up for that. Yum and yum!

Really want to read this book. I feel like there are some characters in the universe I would kill off, like that game marry, screw, kill ahem. Stay tuned for that. A lot of the elements of her books are carbons of previous... that actually makes me happy. Thats a read of it.

To be fair I'm not going to give this a star rating. I barely read any of it before being hit with girl on girl sex scene which I intensely dislike. Therefore this is a DNF for me.

I would have liked it more if not for all the master-slave play. Aside from that it was a decent story, but I don't think I will be looking for more books in the series.
