No one ever said that living with werewolves was easy, but being the last witch certainly doesn’t make it any easier. With Nick by her side, Sarah is sent off to Moon Academy to be trained – and observed. Vampires, the fae, and a mysterious and secretive third party evidently have big plans for her, whether she likes it or not. In the coming year, she’ll need to keep her wits about her, learn to control her magic, and choose Guardians who can protect her against the threats she faces as the last of the witches. The truth will always come out, and Moon Academy is no exception.

This was supposedly a standalone, however the book assumes quite a bit of prior knowledge. The world building was absolute crap, there was no character development and no real relationship building. What little information there was came by way of info dumps rather than actual storytelling. All of the supe/academy cliches were present and none of them were well written. I see no reason to read anything else written by this author.
I really wanted to love this. I was craving something sweeter and younger after binging on several adult MC books. While I liked the idea of the story it just wasn't fleshed out enough to be immersive. It felt more like an outline than a book since it lacked detail and description. I found myself befuddled several times when I learned how a person felt or a detail about the world because someone said it but there hadn't been any descriptors or actions to show these things. I think if this story was re-worked it could be phenomenal but as is it was just OK.
Just got to frustrated to keep reading. There is no description s or world building in this book. So many questions s, so !any things not explained. I tried to hold out to see if answers would be to an by I have up.
Questions with no answers up to 49% mark? Why are witches killed off, why do they need guardians? Yes I get vampires wanted them but why? What was unique? Are all vampires bad? What made her so afraid of Alfred? Why were there no woman in the pack? What do the guys look like? Almost no description besides brown hair blue eyes. Why wasn't she being taught magic from the beginning? The last witch and no one thought training should happen earlier. New a vampire was after her, but delayed removing the link. Why? Other than saying it couldn't be done right away, no explanation.
I needed more information to make the story capture my attention.
Very lackluster. There's no world building. It's a standalone so there isn't the hope of that with future books, either. There's no emotional connection. There's no real angst or gripping plot. Everything resolves ridiculously easy. There's no buildup to any climax. The characters are flat. Three things make a story good: wild building, character development, and a gripping plot. More than one makes it better, all 3 make it great. Without any of these elements you just have words to follow on a page.
This book is well written with a happy ending which satisfies the ending of the book but also allows the author to potentially return in the future to expand the story. I would have like to see the relationships between Sarah and her Guardians be expanded and fleshed out but over all a good read.
I really enjoyed this book. It was sweet and cute and clean! No hanky panky in this one y'all! The story was interesting and original. The were twist and turns. And the characters where well developed. The story was well done and the there is am hea. So overall it was fun and sweet. Give it a read!!
This is a great coming of age story that will leave you begging for more. Would love to see this little world expanded on and am currently searching for more from this author! Well done!
This was not great. No character development, no world building, a lot of assumptions. The characters were so so young. Like 14/15 - it was weird to have them making world changing decisions. I did finish it, so 2 stars.
