All moms want to feel like successful parents, but feelings of guilt, anxiety, and exhaustion can overwhelm the best intentions of any busy mom. In Moms on the Job, the best skills, talents, and tips of dozens of successful working moms are compiled together in this easy-to-use resource.
This book was very practical and included exercises for us working moms to find out how to balance work and life. I'm docking it a star because it mostly just mentioned work and children, not anything about husbands. I think that's a key part of the balance. She talks about delegating tasks to husbands and not micro-managing (nagging) them but there wasn't anything about marriages/date nights/etc. Maybe she eliminated it because that's an entire book in itself! Still, something mentioned would have been helpful. O'Malone was concise, convicting, and very helpful. I especially liked the prayers at the end of each chapter and the call to find prayer partners. Highly recommend!!
