Like a bad sexual experience, this book was too fast paced, all over the place and left me feeling extremely unsatisfied.
The book had potential but it just seemed like the author felt they had to chuck one thing after another at the main characters with little to no explanation or information and no proper conclusions to the incidents.
TLDR: a very quick read with no world building/character building & too many plot holes.

Dark, Gripping, and spicy as all hell
I love a good bad boy story, with favorites by Melissa Marr and Jay Crownover. "Ink" holds its own among these masters, delivering a gripping story full of heat and action. Will definitely be reading more of the Savage Crows.

I was an ARC reviewer for T.O. Smith's Ink (Savage Crows MC#1); my review is based on my own opinions, and I was not coerced or compensated for it.
This is the first T.O. Smith book I've read.
Reina goes to the one person she believes can protect her, Ink, scared for her life. Road Captain for the Savage Crows MC and former friend, who is still traumatised by his past with Reina 5 years ago, is hesitant about helping her.
A book that has it all disloyalty, friendship, strong brotherhood, kidnapping, survival, murder, a potential future.
Is he able to detach his emotions and look at the damaged woman in front of him in order to help her, or are his feelings and emotions still too raw?
An MC book that captivated me from the start and the blurb. I couldn't put it down.
The author has a way of drawing an emotional connection throughout and whilst the book took many turns, it stayed true to the story and drew emotions from me, til the last page.
The characters were well developed and believable. They had a lot of complex layers that helped make the plot convincing.
I like the story, the antics, the characters, and the overall emotional connection I felt.
This book and its author, who remains focused and committed to her art, are both believable and well-suited. I recommend this novel and stand by my rating of 5*. Can't wait to read more

I enjoyed the basic storyline of this book and the authors writing style. I wish it had more detail and did not quickly brush over some important parts of the story. I wanted more meat with my potatoes.

This is the 1st book in the Savage Crow series. I wish I could go back in time & start all over again, that’s how great they are. You fall for & start to care for the characters as you read. Starting with Ink. He loves his club & when his first loves turns up at the clubhouse his world turns upside down. Like any MC member he is extremely loyal & protects what he calls his own. It’s a great read & you have to continue on to the rest of the series you won’t be disappointed.

Betray and healing
Reina comes to Ink for help after being held captive for 5 years by his brother Jordan.
I had a couple problems with this book. The First one being if Reina was raped constantly I wouldn't see her have s3x with Ink that quickly. Also Ghost hates his sister through a large amount of the book. He states if she was going to remain in the clubhouse he was out and throws his cut in his President's face. And the next sentence he did a complete 360 and all was forgiven because she passed out. HUH???? Yeah no.
Gave it 3 stars but if it was just based on the story I would of given it loeer.

Quick Read
I liked this book but feel like the author tried to fit too much I to such a short read. Nothing felt finished because there were too many conflicts. All that being said I still liked the book and will most likely continue reading the series

I thought this was supposed to be a dark MC romance? It’s more of a light gray with medium gray aspects. It’s missing the mark for the dark concept. I needed to know some of the details about what h went through. She was held captive for 5 years, I’d expect to read what went on with her, not what went on with the dead girl. It just felt like all the scenes that I needed to read to understand this girl, just weren’t there. The bedroom scenes are fade to gray. There is only one scene that almost goes into detail (it’s a half page long) and then it’s over.
There was no character development with h. She was really sensitive the entire time, which I expected it to go either way (sensitive or a fighter). Time line doesn’t add up for pregnancy either. She was preggers for a really long time.
There was decent development with H. We watched him grow and struggle with his own demons only to see him come out the other side.
The color formatting was jumping all around. That was weird. Some sentences were very wordy too.
I loved the storyline and liked the concept of where this book was going, it just didn’t quite meet my expectations.
I didn’t really notice any bad grammar or punctuation errors.
Received an updated copy provided by the author.

I am obsessed. I read the book on one sitting. I LOVED it. It gave me Sons of anarchy vibes but better! The love between them is amazing. The whole plot was amazing. I loved how Ink stepped up. He knew she was always his, and he made sure to take his claim and make everyone know it. There's something about a bad boy on a motorcycle! There were parts where I was crying sad tears, scared tears, then happy as shit tears. It was amazing. Simply amazing. When Ink said those words to her and she snapped on him..he needed to hear it. I love that he wanted to her to trust him again, but in the end he needed to put his trust into her. She was his missing piece. I can't wait to read the rest of the story! I know I'm gonna fall in love with all the Savage Crow boys, but Ink will always have my heart! 💜 (Thor may *try* steal it though!)

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Ink is the first book in the ‘’savage crows MC’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and action packed. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. Ink is the first book of T.O. Smith’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline action packed. Ink loved his best friends sister but never made a move. He was angry and hurt when she left with his evil big brother. Years later and Reina returns in need of protection, will Ink help her?
The chemistry between Ink and Reina is clear to see and I liked them together.
I really disliked the way Ghost was with Reina for the majority of this story. That being said, I understood why he was the way he was. I liked that he finally gave her a chance.
I liked the MC brothers but I did have a favourite, Thor!
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an action packed read. I look forward to more books from this series.

Link's story is very poignant. Love the storyline of the Savage Crows MC club!

It was a good quick read biker romance. At first it was an annoyance to me the names of the mc guys. Kept thinking it detailing something with grim or sabotage. I got more into the story and wasn’t an issue anymore. I do wish that there was more explanation of the whole gang shooting.

I loved this book but again I have loved all your books I love Ink and how he just took her in even though she had left him years ago he still was there to protect her in the end they found there love for each other

I rate this MC romance a three (and a half). Decent storyline and characters but something was missing. I'm a sucker for dirty biker boys, but Ink didn't captivate me the way I was hoping, and the rushed ending was a let-down. I actually thought I was missing a few pages, the way everything wrapped up so abruptly.

A wonderful Series.
The Savage Crows is a wonderful series. I have read all of them time and time again. T.O. Smith is a wonderful writer that pulls you into every story she writes. Once I started the Savage Crow series I couldn’t stop til I finished the whole series. Can’t wait to read more of her work.

very patchy. nothing is properly connected
This book sounded good… but fell flat. *spoilers included*
I see where the author was trying to go. Adding in suspense and drama. A hot headed MMC with Adam aged fmc. But they were not coherent. Nothing flowed. None of the storyline went hand in hand. We didn’t get much backstory on what happened to Raina… ok i can live with it but I’m not happy about it. It’s such a main part of her character and all we got was there was 6 cells and 7 girls.
And why the club was so eager to have Raina help? Why?honestly you’d think that’d make the feds more interested in the club. But the feeds were like ‘oh thanks. Go ahead and take care now🙄)
Then we find out Raina is preggo…. Ok so was she being trafficked? She said it was Jordan’s her "r@p1$t’. Was he just keeping 7 women to himself?
Then ink just jumps in head first with her… after all that hee haw maybe a bit more talking would have made that seem ok. Like she admits she always liked him but chose the brother because he showed interest…
Again. Raina’s family dynamic is throw in but makes no sense. Mom goes bipolar? Dad is running for mayor and doesn’t want her back …. Ok. Those are just thrown in for filler…..
And honestly dont even get me started on the angels club. WHY WAS THAT EVEN MENTIONED¿¡ i was so confused. And the tidbit about the president visiting the girls because he was friend with Jordan… ok so were they in business together? Where were they when Jordan was spiraling? When he was getting un@l1v3d?!
I feel like the author was like "oh this would make a good conflict’ then just threw it in to worrying about it being cohesive 🫤

I so badly wanted to rate this one higher but I just could not justify it. I enjoyed this book for what it was but it has a lot of issues as well. Starting with the positives, I liked Reina for the most part and this was an easy read which was nice. The story idea was decent it just lacked proper execution. I feel like one major thing that lowered my rating was how fast paced this book was coupled in with the author having way too many ideas thrown together in such a short amount of time. There were several moments where I had to stop and laugh at just how crazy all the stuff going on was. I think we needed to pump the brakes for a moment and really delve into one or two ideas instead of constantly going from moment to moment of something wild happening. The constant f bombs were really annoying too, there were several instances where every other word out of Ink’s or the other bikers’ mouths was the f bomb and it just took me out of the seriousness of the moment. I also hated how Ink treated Reina at first but on one hand I can understand how he felt betrayed by her. But I really hated how Ghost treated her, as he was her brother. He was a massive jerk until all of a sudden he accepted her again. What she did wasn’t even something they should have disowned her over and then treating her like trash after finding out what she went through was just awful. There was a lot of spelling and grammar issues and then the ending was even more rushed than the story as a whole. It had potential for sure, but reading this book felt like watching something on 2x speed and I just wanted it to slow down in several parts.

So I get that it’s weird to say this about an MC romance, but the excessive F-bombing was… distracting. You expect a lot of swearing, yes, but it was like the author didn’t quite know where to fit them in, and they peppered them around a bit oddly. The dialogue in general was very amateur and the character development didn’t really land. It’s hard to believe the HEA epilogue where the MMC is a changed man (why?) when the last scene had him punching out his dad and scaring the FMC out of the clubhouse with his antics. The fact that the place she flees to just happens to get shot up only reinforces the point that she has no real choice in any of it and is just as trapped with him as she was with his brother. I wanted her own brother to be 100% on her side when the MMC wasn’t so sure about her, but he wasn’t and that was also a disappointment. The presence of a sibling who is ride-or-die even when you mess up big-time makes a dangerous, dark romance sweeter in my opinion; it’s the fact that you know that she’s got an out, but she’s choosing to stay with him out of love. There’s not a lot of love in this book, tbh.

Ink is the road captain for the Crows. Definitely alpha, intense, and has a temper that rages. He is loyal to his brother's and takes his position seriously. One night, he notices someone trying to sneak a glance into the club activities. When he lays eyes on the person, he is sucker punched. Reigna, the one that got away, and consequently, the one that broke him. When he finds out why she is there, and what she has been through, he offers protection.
Reigna, has been a prisoner for five years. She thought she was in love, but nothing could have prepared her for the torture that was her boyfriend. When she seeks Ink out, she knows he is her only chance. What starts as just protection, quickly escalates to a relationship with the one man who got away.
Readers will be intoxicated by this MC and it's members. Gruff, unapologetic, and tougher than any other MC, these brother's have loyalty, and heart. I recommend this book!

It annoyed me giving this a low rating because I think this book had so much potential, got scary bad boy who’d been in love with his friend for 17 years.
But for some reason it was both rushed and had too much going on. The whole Jordan plot ended so random and abruptly - why did they only think to find where Jordan was after Ink was taken if they could have done that all along.
Why was her family so mad that Reina left, she moved away with her boyfriend she didn’t kill anyone - crazy dramatic.
Just annoyed me because it’s so rare to find characters I was actually invested in and they were just wasted in something rushed.
I will probs continue with the series, who knows maybe it’ll develop but for now I’m going to sulk and the lost potential.

Loving fearless

This was another amazing book. This author is an amazing writer. Her books is fast paste and get to the point it have action drama romance and spice. All her books if read so far have a HEA. A lot of her books have trigger warnings

Short. To the point. Interesting.
Liked the story. Liked that it was not drawn out. Most of the worst stuff we are told about afterwards, and do not have to 'live through it'.
There were a couple of what felt like missing chunks. One was the scene of the attack at Ghost's house. Who were all the shooters that showed up? Did they come with his father? What was their purpose?
There were a few wrong words and missing words.
Some editing could polish this up right nice.

Got for free in a sykd event. The switch from angry as hell to the fmc to “sweet girl” gave me whiplash and was out of nowhere. Going into this one i knew there was going to be a pregnancy trope and i thought maybe i’d like it this time, nope not a fan. And so many weird nicknames like sabotage, ghost, grim, hatchet, etc… if the rest of the series was on KU i’d give it a shot, but i can’t justify spending $4 a book on this, especially given how short they are.
