A hot collection of three sexy stand-alone novels based on connected characters from the same premier tattoo shop in Miami. Each of these stories scorches like that Miami heat, with blazing love scenes and fiery passion. Yet each story brings its own unique couple struggling to navigate the often confusing and sometimes heartbreaking path of romance. Kian and Katelyn struggle with issues of abuse and trust in Damaged Rebel Next Door. Mike and Savannah deal with maturity, lies, and a secret baby in Tattooed Hearts. But by far, my favorite of the three was the story of Heather and Rone as they overcame childhood issues and family expectations (including a fear of needles!) in Heroic Heart. Their love story was just so sweet, sensual, and satisfying.
The characters are endearing and engaging; each facing their own issues in their own flawed ways. Their chemistry has a wonderful tension to it that keeps you turning pages while cheering them on, hoping everything works out for them and they get their HEAs.
The reader can share this collection with co-workers: love scenes sizzle with good heat, and adult language can be found at times throughout the stories. While each of these stories can easily stand alone, it’s enjoyable to read them one after the other and enjoy the growth of the earlier characters as their families expand over the course of time while new love blooms for other characters.

Yep, Melissa Devenport has done it again ... three sexy stories that will have you wising that there were more. Melissa has this uncanny knack of writing stories that features both strong men and women, who totally endear themselves to your heart. As well as that that they also test your emotions.
In this book set are three very different stories, plus some added bonuses that will have you happily smiling. They are all fast paced and extremely sexy, and will definitely have you wanting more.
Damaged Rebel Next Door Katelyn and Kian. Although these two people are broken in different ways it is their inner strength that had me absolutely loving them. Kian learns from Katelyn that the past doesn't always affect your future. This one will broke my heart but gave me hope at the same time.
Tattoed Hearts Mike and Savannah. These two have that type of instant chemistry that is way of the charts. The both hold secrets that could affect the relationship that they are building. Will the secrets be revealed? Will they still have that determination to make it together?
Heather and Rone This couple are like a volcano ... molten hot, sexy and ready to fire. Rone is Jay's best friend and he's dating the "little sister." Will their secret tear them apart? Family and friendship loyalty is really tested in this one.

Hot Ink by Melissa Devenport is a terrific collection of perfection. I have read her work in the past, however, personally, I truly think this is her best release that I have ever had the pleasure to read, and it is a collection of books! In each wonderfully written book, you will find an incredible storyline and engaging characters that will most certainly pull at your heartstrings. Inside this collection, each book is a rollercoaster of emotions throughout and each are written realistically, so you can envision each scenario that they face. Follow along on this addictive adventure of healing and love. Inside this release are several books to captivate you; Damaged Rebel Next Door, Tattooed Hearts (favorite), Heroic Heart as well as two bonus reads.
I was beyond fortunate to have requested an advanced reader's copy of Hot Ink in exchange for my honest opinion and I couldn't put it down. There is everything to love about these books. Three book set:
1. "Damaged Rebel Next Door"
A great down-to-earth story of complex life situations. The main female character has a real core of inner strength, yet at the same time, she has a velvety softness to her being. The main male character oozed sexuality. His inner machinations were tortured due to a horrendous past trauma. The beauty of the main female character parlayed into having a nutcracker effect on the main male character by cracking open his hardened shell of defenses. An evocative story of many real life circumstances done up in a sensitive manner. Good read! :)
2. "Tattooed Hearts"
We all make decisions based on what we know and feel at a certain given time. The main female character made some decisions, not out of malice, however the decisions did have a negative effect on the main male character. This romantic novel was full of angst, drama, sabotage, and sensual scenes. There are strong, loving and supportive family and friends depicted in this novel. Very good reading!
3. "Heroic Heart"
A story of a young couple who suppressed their feelings for one another due to loyalty. Once this couple do start on their journey together it is fraught with angst. However, the repartee between the two main male and female characters before, during and after sex is beautiful, sensual, teasing, intense and very loving.
There is good insight provided by Ms. Devenport into getting a tattoo and what it really feels like during and after with the healing process.
This book is well worth the time for romance lovers to journey into Ms. Devenport's tale.

Damaged Rebel Next Door: Just loved Katelyn and Kian story, There story was emotional and Heartbreaking, can these to broken souls get a second chance at life with each other or forever be a lone.
Tattooed Hearts: Mike and Savannah had insta connection, they both kept secret from each other. Can they both over come the secret they have kept form each other to have a HEA or go there separate ways.
Heroic Heart: So this is Heather and Rone's story, There chemistry is off the charts. How will Rone best friend Jay feel about him getting with Heather thats were the shite hits the fan because Heather' he's sister.

Hot, steamy, passionate and twisted stories with great story lines and plots. Well described characters that develops well. Absolutely a box set that is worth the time and read.

This wonderful Ink Trilogy will show you a host of beautiful intertwining stores that share the glowing light of New Love. Found Love. Love Everlasting. Each story s tailored to show the human heart and all its emotions. You will laugh, cry,and be enthralled by each story. It has strong characters and even stronger ties to to deep friendship and the connection of family. Also the bonus stories are intense and heartfelt. Worth every minute its read. Loved the series of books. Each different but all with same theme; a little broken needing TLC.
Kian and Katelyn broken but needing each other. Together they healed, loved and lived. They saved each other.
Mike and Savannah scared to love, afraid to commit but separate they find clarity and learn to accept love and share the duties of first time parent. No more secrets just the truth.
Heather and Rone loved each other as teens and reconnect as adults. Love is stronger this time round not even Jay could change the outcome. A sweet and thrilling story.
The bonus content was amazing and so was the trios expanding families and their intense passion for each other. Amazing series.

Some attention required
I enjoyed the way the 3 books linked but the thing that was most off putting was the mistakes. Flour instead of flower, of when it should have been have, then and than mixed up, excited mistaken for exited, and my personal pet hate, you're when it should have been your. A thorough read through and a fresh set of eyes before submitting this could have eliminated these mistakes. Apart from that, it was enjoyable.

I love tattoo shop books
There is something so intimate about them. The 3 sets of characters were so appealing, yet different. They survived difficult pasts, came out stronger and were able heal each other. I appreciated the bonus content to be able to see further onto their lives, and that their lives were even richer with time.

This book has three stories plus two bonus stories (more like bonus scenes). The characters are good and I like the story line but I could not get into this book. Each story was choppy and did not flow naturally for me. If you want a short read with HEA and don't mind the full content then you will enjoy this story. It was just not for me.

If you only get one book make it this.
3 stories of 3 couples all intertwined because of their careers. Seriously loved every single couple, found 8 couldn't get enough. One thing I enjoyed most (and a true genius piece of writing) was the follow ups at the end, like a catchup on their lives and love stories. It's a book crammed full to entertain even the harshest of critics.

LOVED IT!!!
From the very first few pages I have loved Ms Devenport's writing. She has a way with words and she puts them together and it's just amazing I can't wait to read more from this author.

All the books that are apart of this were absolutely amazing. The connections between all the characters kept me turning the pages to see what happened next. In each book i wanted to be the woman.
