A beautiful New Yorker is cast back in time and falls into the arms of the most handsome cowboy on the wild Nebraska plain. From the author of "Promises from the Past".
I 'refound' this book on my bookshelf and decided to read it again. As time travel romances go, I rather liked how the MC didn't get all huffy about being switched. Surprisingly, its not at all a masterful man, weak biddable woman type novel, and the ending is rather a surprise - it not being the slightest bit like the usual time travel types.
Don’t let the terribly lame cover put you off, for contained within the pages of Windmills in Time is an enthralling story replete with time travel, adventure, & a slow-burn romance. This book truly is a case study in why to never judge a book by its cover.
Sent me back in time ....to when I read any time travel romance I could find. I appreciate that it’s not as “mushy” as most historical romances. Loved the characters, loved the book.
