It’s a lot

This book is a lot. So much happens around this story, it was exhausting. The couple never had a moment to breath. And full of subplots but an interesting read.

There were things I liked about this story. Of course there were some I didn't. Finn never divulged his upbringing, so his character kinda drifted for me. At one point Addy calls him cowboy, don't think he'd ever been around a cow that wasn't steak. He used "reckon" a bunch. A lot. So many times. But I'm from the deep South and my Aunt used that word. So it would throw me out of the story to the south and didn't fit with what the author told us about Finn. The story is set in Colorado and the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It's not fully grounded so when the location was mentioned there was a reset in my head that we are actually in the United States. Almost feels as if the author admired the place, but found it on a map and added a few descriptions.
It got a bit trying, as a reader, to go over the angst part of I am, but I can't act that way from Addy. Or on his side, I'm a Daddy but i can't have a little.
There are twists I'm not sure I understand the reason behind their manufacture of so many levels of subterfuge and secrets.
It's a bit rough and could use a content editor. There were few typos or missing punctuation. Or differences in punctuation, like a few exclamation points that were unnecessary and the single quote use instead of the double quote most commonly used.
With all that, I'd recommend this as a slow developing story between a Little looking for her Daddy and a mountain man hungering for his Little.

🖤 ~ My Thoughts ~ 🖤

While giving in to my greedy DD/lg obsession, I jumped right into Please Daddy and this being a new author for me, I didn’t really know what to expect.

What I got was a cute (if slightly bratty) Little heroine, Addison and her big Daddy Bear, Finn. She’s a city girl with big fashion designer dreams and he’s an ex military country boy living in the wilderness, taking one day at a time.

When Addison’s dreams go up in smoke, she runs to her big sister to lick her wounds while trying to get back on her feet. What she doesn’t know is that her past isn’t just random or a coincidence. Someone has her in their sights and is willing to go to extremes to knock her down.

I will confess that this particular plot device (marriage of convenience) didn’t work for me just because it seemed really unlikely to go so smoothly IRL but even though it was all a little too OTT, I still found myself really enjoying it :)

I actually loved the characters the most, they were both sweet, romantic and all around likable. Addison’s dream of making a Little fashion line should be a reality, lol!

Heat Level: 4/5
~ heroine is a virgin
~ Ages: Between 21-30-ish (Daddy Bear is older than Addi)

Contains: Spankings, anal play, age play *diapers*

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

My Thoughts: This was my first DDlg and while this is outside of my normal trope types, I thought I should give it a try. I didn't dislike the whole DDlg play, but more so the book itself. There was just so much going on and at times left me confused. How many bad guys can you have in one book? I was let down by all the back and forth between the MC's. I mean the FMC is mad at the MMC but in the same breathe is falling so hard for him. The MMC wants his baby girl so badly it hurts and within a second he's alienating her. A lie of omission is still a lie. Why say you need to tell Addie everything, but only give her half truths only for her to find out anyway. Now you have to explain why you didn't tell her something after you promised honesty. It's not just the MMC who did that to Addy, but also Addy's sister. This book had too much going on for a novella.

Voice Narration: For a solo narration Malka Shine did a decent job doing the male voice.

Please Daddy by Lucky Moon is a charming romance. In it we meet two dynamic lead characters—Addison Clark and Finn Wilder. Both are emotionally wounded. She is soft, trusting, and innocent. These qualities cause those around her seem to underestimate her. Her loved ones underestimate her and tend to make decisions and choices for her. Their actions cause her to feel inferior at times. Finn suffers from PTSD from his military service in Afghanistan. Addison’s older sister, Violet, keeps vital information from her. Someone is out to hurt Addison. They destroyed her business. She sends her to Finn for safekeeping. Violet plans a pre-arranged marriage for Addison but neglects to inform her of it. What happens when Violet arrives at Finn’s cabin? Will they get along? Will Finn keep her safe? To discover what happened, you must read this book.

I enjoyed how Ms. Moon used the concept of a marriage of convenience to this romance. Her characters are multi-faceted. Ms. Moon masterfully creates conversational and internal dialog. I like how she uses conversational and internal dialog that reveal her characters inner most thoughts. The banter between Addison and Finn is realistic. Way to go, Ms. Moon.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This has got to be my favorite book that Lucky has written. I was really happy to get a longer book to start off. Addison and Finn were characters that deserved every page. The storyline had everything from drama, suspense, secrets, surprises, attraction and finally love. Her life went out of control in a short period of time. She is trying to find her footing but she does not know the half of it. Finn has his own demons but tries to do a favor anyway. He had no idea that it would change his life so completely. He is the perfect Daddy for Dee and she is his perfect Little. She wants to trust him and he wants to protect and care for her. Now they have to get thru the obstacles to find their happy ending. I really enjoyed this story. I look forward to more from Lucky

I liked this one. It needs a little editing but otherwise it is a well written DD/lg romance that intrigues the reader with a story that is a delicious mixture of suspense, mystery, tension & a stimulating touch of danger.
I liked Addison (h) & loved Finn (H). Their method of meeting was intriguing & IMO original from most romances.
The plot kept me thoroughly invested in Addison & Finn, kept me on tenterhooks relative to just 'WHAT' (& WHY) was going on as well as wondering just what were Finn AND Addison's sister's motivations & goals.
The characters were engaging as well as endearing & I found I needed to know if they would end up safe, sound & TOGETHER.
Overall, I very much enjoyed this one from beginning to end.

Addison is a Little and she had a great business designing and making clothes for the ABDL community until someone destroyed her good name and her business. Then she finds herself jobless and homeless. Her sister won’t let her stay with her, but organises for Addy to stay in the mountains in Denver Colorado. Then she meets Finn, she sees him as rude and grumpy. But little does she realise, he is her husband and protector.

I absolutely loved reading this book. There were sweet moments, heated scenes and lots of action. Escaped criminals and ex boyfriend moments. This story really had me enthralled from start to finish, what more could you want?

i didn't like either of the MC's at all or some parts of the story and i didn't like the ending either.() all-throu-out the h kept feeling bad for her stalker and even after she learns what he's capable of she still does think he has the ability to do this or that. :(

Addison may. Be a Little, but she's still a grown woman darn it and everybody insists on keeping secrets, important things that she should know. First her sister now Finn Wilder. What was her sister thinking by tricking her into marrying him just so he can keep her safe. Safe from what? It sucks when you just want to live your life, play, be happy and now she's stuck in a cabin with a man who may or may not be a daddy. If not, how can she keep her Little ways from him? Finn is conflicted, but whether it's his job or not, this precious Little is his wife and he will keep her safe.

Please Daddy was an amazing read by Lucky Moon. It was a real page turner. Addison needs a place to stay after her business is ruined and she lost her apartment in NYC. Her sister arranges for her to stay at a cabin in the woods. Only she won't be alone. She will be staying with Finn Wilder. Addison is a little but she wants her sister to realize she can take care of herself. Only there are things going on that she doesn't know. She's actually married to the sexy stranger she just met last night. Will Finn be her daddy? Finn agreed to the arrangement in order to protect Addison after her dad was so good to him. Definitely recommend. Looking forward to more!

This was a great book. Dee and Finn were very cute together. Dee is not aware that she is in danger so when her sister sends her to cabin in the woods, she thinks that is alone but a big surprise awaits her! Finn is a vet who is living with PTSD and has agreed to help a friend's sister out but little did he know, Dee was just the Little to his Big. This book has a lot of drama, emotion, and steam. Dee and Finn have to face a crazy ex as well as their own pasts and insecurities. I really enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it.

A jumbled mess

What a jumbled mess of genres this is. A marriage arranged through trickery and deceit, an obsessed ex-boyfriend, an ex-military firewatcher with PTSD, and a Little that everyone underestimates. If you are expecting any of the advertised genres, you'll be sorely disappointed. There was no power exchange, a lot of internal yammering about wanting a Daddy/Little relationship but no real communication about it and only a few paragraphs of actual age play. I forced myself to finish the book but skimmed a lot of the sex scenes at the end. Would not recommend.

Author needs a lesson in dirty pillow talk, lol.

I enjoyed the book but I have to say that the words the author came up with for the 'hunk' to describe his penis to his ' little' partner during their sex scenes were cringe worthy. If a sexual partner in real life referred to his dick, cock, manhood, penis, schlong lol, etc, etc. as a STICK OF MEAT I think I would want to gag. He came out with similar descriptions which made the book a total yuck for me, a real shame.

This book centers on a young woman who has had her world crumble around her. The story felt real and I found myself rooting for her to find strength. He was wonderful in his efforts to help her find herself though his methods aren’t something that I would have liked. An interesting story.

Good read

I liked the story , but lets be real here , no-one is going too stay and not freak out and forgive as easily as Addison did in real life . she was lied too tricked and received all for her own good because they feel she's weak .. Even after telling her half truths Finn still didn't tell her the truth .. What kind of daddy is that

Please Daddy

I enjoyed this book .The characters were well written and very well thought out. I most enjoyed the storyline and the fact that it was long enough to have a storyline, most books.. like this is so short that there is not a real. storyline. I try not to read those. Please write more like this

Meh

For former military, Finn surely lacks some basic security skills. Like locking the door! Plus for some reason, Finn always left Addy by herself to walk into dangerous situations. Which is not how a Daddy is to act.

I loved the story and the tension between Finn & Addy. This story had so many interesting story lines that they were never fully developed & in the end they were quickly summed up & others just faded away.
