I grew up in Washington State, yes I'm a "rain baby." I joined the Air Force when I was young and spent the next five years in the Military. Eventually, I left the Military and made my way into the business world. I was able to join the FBI after 9/11 and serve for over two years as a Special Agent. While with the FBI, I worked on the Violent Crimes Major Offenders squad and the Cyber squad.
Overall, this was an okay read. The strongest book in the anthology was written by Larissa Ione, "Flesh to Fantasy" while I felt the weakest was "Heart Full of Stars" by Linda Gayle.
The other two titles were each part of a separate series - "Lone Wolf Three" by Rae Monet is Book 5 of the "Solarian Warrior" series set in the far future while "The Wolf's Mate" by Cynthia Eden is Book 2 of the "Wolf's Call" trilogy.
I definitely found it more enjoyable to read the previous books in each series before reading these stories.
