This is such a letdown compare to the 1st volume. The characters are boring, the plot is annoying beyond words. I'm not a big fan, but not to the point of indiscriminately hate, the "beautiful pure soul who heals the broken billionaire" trope, but maaaan falling in love with a friggin arms dealer whose "joyless" trades destroyed so many families, who did business with terrorist groups that massacred your family and sold you and your sister into a brothel? And no depiction of any internal conflict regarding this matter?? That's too much of a sloppy writing it's insane!
I guess I've found myself a new pet peeve then. No arms dealer please, like I give a fuck about those type of people's love life and angsty past.
