I really loved the photos in this book, and the writing was good--the only problem with this is that the pictures in these early reading books should really telegraph some of the content of the writing and this does a mediocre job of that.

This is a book that children will enjoy reading as they learn facts and information on the birds. The book is one that is easy to pick up and read. This would be a good book to have in your classroom for informational text. The book would be enjoyed by all, ranging from 5-12.
