About the author

Carolyn Larsen has written more than 40 books for children and adults. She is best known as the author of the Little Girls Bible Storybook line of products, which have collectively sold more than one million units. In addition, Carolyn is a speaker who has taught and spoken extensively in the United States and overseas. She is the cofounder of the performing group Flashpoints, which is comprised of five women who share a God-ignited passion to encourage women and girls to know God better through drama, creative movement, signing, and humor. Carolyn is the mother of three and lives with her husband in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

Great devotional for my Tween!

For Girls Only! is a devotional book that will not only grab a girls attention but grab her heart, too. It has two months worth of materials for young girls to read, apply, and dig into.

Each day has a devotional story based on a few verses. Then it's followed by a "Check-up Time", "Things To Do", and "Things To Remember". Relevant topics are addressed in an easy-to-understand format for 8-12 year old girls.

My only caution is that the book could be slightly too old for the younger end of the suggested age range, (8-12), depending on their maturity level and social settings.

Why not give a girl in your life a book that is good for them and very cool, too?!

As moms and grandmas, we desire to see our girls have a relationship with God, and we know that part of that starts with a daily quiet time. Whether your daughter is just now, trying to develop that daily quiet time, or has been doing it for a couple of years now, For Girls Only! Devotions will be a valuable asset to her spiritual walk. I highly reccomend this book!

Good if you're looking for a change from daily bible reading notes. Uses good illustrations of girls' behaviour. My 9yo has enjoyed it. Scripture use is sample verses rather than passage study.

This is an amazing book ! Most just do a bible lesson but this book gives you a story with a biblical moral , things to do , quotes, verses and more !

This is an excellent devotional for tween and teen girls! I read this with my daughter when she was in that catergory :)
