Kate Stone has always lived for romance. From the time she was very small, waiting for her Prince Charming to come and take her away, she has looked for the healing, redeeming power of love.
She drinks far too much coffee and loves sparkly things. She's convinced she survived breast cancer because she was unwilling to let tiny little cells tell her when to die. The chemo may have helped, too.
She lives in New England with her long-suffering husband and their four children. She spends her days as a graduate student and her weekends writing.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Vincent and his MC brother Alec have just finished their time behind bars and are being welcomed back into the fold, but things have changed for Vincent. His time inside has changed his outlook on the way the MC Business is going especially with the things that he has heard even in prison. But the first part of his agenda is to show Celeste the woman he has wanted and lusted after for years that she belongs to him even if she is the sister of his Clubs President they belong together and they have wasted too much time. Has Celeste waited for him and will she support his plans for the Club, will Vincent lose everything or win all he could ever want?
Celeste has wanted Vincent for years and is hoping that now he is out of prison that they can finally stop dancing around their feelings and see where they could go, but immediately there is tension when her brother Wade and Vincent have words. Will she get the man she has always loved or will she have to choose between love and family?
This is the third book in this series and one that although I enjoyed it I didn’t feel any real connection to the characters, it all felt a little forced, the story was good but maybe not my favourite. Good quick read before bed though. 3***
I loved this story. It is the kind that you can identify with the characters and immerse yourself in the story. Very well written and characters to win the heart make this book a must read.
Vincent was just released from jail along with Alec. They return to the club house they are members of. Celeste is the bartender and really the only one who cares for them by making sure they get treated well. Wade walks in and greets him but goes about his business. That is when Vincent kind a lashes out at him. The next day Vincent takes care of some much needed business. He wants to turn the club into a legal lawn care business instead of doing illegal business. Celeste is all for this and helps Vincent along the way. While doing all this their feelings grew stronger. They got everyone involved even Wade and made the Club go legit and the lawn care service is thriving. In the mean time there was a crooked cop always trying to frame the guys for crimes they didn't commit. After confront the car that's been following them. Celeste starts recording and when stuff starts happening they search the truck and they find some pot on them. Once celeste realizes she caught the cop planting the stuff, the cop is arrested and Vincent is let go. Now that the cop is longer a threat to the club and they are running a legal business Celeste and Vincent can enjoy their relationship.

Pivot is the third book in the Watchdogs MC series. It is the story of Vince and Celeste. Vince has just gotten out of prison and returned to the Watchdogs MC clubhouse where he finds Celeste is still the bartender. While in prison Vince thought about his life and what he wanted and is determined to make these happen. Both he is going to have to work hard for and fight people along the way. The first is to have the club go legitimate. This is easier said than done, especially when the President, Wade, is not feeling it. The second item is to get Celeste to forgive him and be his again. But there again there are issues and Wade is involved still, as he is Celeste's brother. But Vince is more than ready to fight and do what he needs to make the changes that are right for him, Celeste and his Watchdog "brothers". This is a fast-paced and jam-packed story. But it is also nicely written, has a solid story-line that kept my interest and some great characters that you really hope make it and get their HEA.

This well-written book 3 in the Watchdogs MC Series is a wonderful MC story and a good start to a new series. The characters are believably well-crafted and they react in a realistic fashion. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. Protector is the first of Kate Stone's Watchdogs MC series. If you love bad boys who still do the right thing, strong women who can (mostly) take care of themselves, and steaming hot romance, you'll love this novella. They have been dancing around each other for years. They finally get their chance and they gave great chemistry together.

Vince just got out from prison, for the eighteen months he thought nothing but how the MC needs to make a change and how he will do what he needs to make Celeste his. Celeste waited for the moment to see Vince again, before he left they seemed to be dance around, now that he is back can things pick back up. Pivot is a great story of change, with a bit of danger, suspense while taking the chance on love. Vince and Celeste have hot and steamy moments, that keep you turning the page.

Vince just got out of jail and has a plan to turn the motorcycle gang to a legal entity and stop selling drugs and also to win over Celeste. He begins by getting rid of a drug dealer in the gang but has a long road ahead of him to go legit. Celeste is interested but Vince is not a smooth player and needs to find a way to tell her how he feels. Great story for motorcycle gang lovers and enjoy this author.

The author has introduced us to some more members of the Watchdogs MC. Vince returns to the clubhouse after being released from prison with ideas of turning the MC into law abiding citizens. Luckily for him Celeste, the woman he was too shy to approach, is willing to help him convince the other members to change the way they think.

3.5 Stars After spending a year in jail, Vince has thought of nothing else than having all the Club's activities to be absolutely legal and above board, and all because of one woman, Celeste. Changing the mind of his club brothers is quite the challenge, but worth everything if Celeste could be by his side. A quick read full of romance, intrigue and suspense.

A really good, well written, engaging, and emotionally deep book three in the Watchdogs MC series! The story pulled me in from the first page and I was engrossed until the end. So much to look forward to – a well-developed consistent plot, drama, twists and turns, big changes, suspense, and more. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is intense.

This is a fast-paced quick to read novella, it is a standalone MC romance with loads of action and grit. Vincent and Celeste were tiptoeing around each other before he went to prison, now he's out and their chemistry is just as hot as before. Entertaining!.

Although it can read as a standalone, I still felt at a disadvantage since I have not read the previous books. It was not my favorite MC book but it was still enjoyable.
