I hate her husband, gah. I felt so sad when I saw their flashback chapter that I instantly fell in love with him. I thought maybe, he was hiding something. Maybe it wasn't really an affair—but the heck. And his damned reason!! He deserved that punch so much. I'd even kick his balls too. Just revolting piece of shit. I can't believe I let myself be considerate of him even for a moment!

Again, I don't understand the low score this manga is getting. I think this volume showed a great degree of development from the leads. I think it was good to see Hayame finally get some closure from his husband, and I'm excited to see and know more about Issei and his past. I think this series has a ton of potential, I hope the excitement continues from here.

Beh, questa volta Issei ci ha visto lungo. Dopo aver ricevuto una telefonata dal marito di Hayame, il ragazzo la spedisce ad avere un confronto con il consorte in modo da finalizzare il divorzio e spillargli un indennizzo di tre milioni di yen. Nei tre giorni precedenti all'incontro, Hayame si troverà davanti agli occhi le prove dell'infedeltà di Masahiro, un tizio che, come detto da Issei, mostrerà la sua vera natura. Si dimostra dispiaciuto, apparentemente preoccupato per la situazione di Hayame, ma di fatto è lì che freme per avere la sua firma sulla richiesta di divorzio. E, a quanto pare, è stato lui a fare la corte ad Hayame...e non ci ha pensato due volte prima di tradirla. E da quello che vediamo dopo, Issei ha fatto centro, visto che a questa fantomatica Akira non ha alcuna intenzione di mettersi con lui. E così il genio rimane solo, visto che Hayame non ha più alcuna intenzione di avere a che fare con lui. Di fatto, ha mandato all'aria il suo matrimonio per niente. Ben gli sta.
In questo secondo volume, diciamo che Issei si comporta decisamente meglio. Se non altro, non si fa problemi a sputtanare Masahiro e a prendere le difese di Hayame. Adesso resta da capire tutto il drama familiare che circonda lui e il fratello maggiore (a cui è legata la fantomatica amante del pirla), anche se è chiaro che tra i due non corre buon sangue.
Il volume due porta in scena un personaggio spassosissimo, la nonna di Issei, una donna decisamente vitale a dispetto dell'età. Una donna che libera la povera Hayame dal debito con Issei e le offre un lavoro al ryokan di famiglia. Ah, e che inizia a mettere in piedi dei magheggi sentimentali. E adesso voglio proprio vedere come evolve il rapporto tra i due protagonisti, ora che Hayame ha un lavoro e che non deve più prestarsi al "gioco" di Issei. Spero che la poverina trovi un po' di serenità e che non venga coinvolta nel drama della famiglia Kataoka (anche se temo che succederà il contrario, già gira la voce che convive con Issei e che è stata la vecchiarda a trovarle il lavoro...per di più è già stata puntata da un tizio inquietante). Ah, e spero che l'ex marito scompaia dalla faccia della terra, maledetto beota.

Un deuxième plus intéressant et surtout moins malsain et cela fait toute la différence. Il y a toujours cette idée de jeu, mais on sent qu’Issei ne fait plus cela juste pour s’amuser. Il n’est pas indifférent à Hayame, et on le ressent clairement dans ses actions, même s’il agit encore comme un petit garçon par moment, il arrive à se montrer vraiment plus attachant que dans le premier tome de Promise Cinderella.
Est-ce dû au fait qu’Hayame est au centre de tout dans ce tome ? Peut-être bien, mais j’ai trouvé que c’était vraiment bien trouvé de la part de Oreco Tachibana. Déjà parce que cela nous permet de beaucoup mieux cerner notre héroïne. On la voit ici autant forte que fragile. Elle parvient également à fermer une porte de son passé, ce qui lui permettra d’aller de l’avant, et donc de potentiellement remarquer Issei… Après tout, c’est ce qui se profile, donc autant avoir le champ libre.
Une épreuve douloureuse très bien traité d’ailleurs. On y voit une palette d’émotions très fortes et justes. Ce qui ne laisse pas notre jeune héros indifférent, et là impossible de ne pas se rendre compte qu’il a le béguin pour sa « victime ». Oreco Tachibana parvient à rendre cela mignon, alors que bon, le jeu est tordu. Mais il y a tellement de maladresse chez Issei qu’il est difficile ici, de lui en tenir rigueur, surtout que cette partie était loin d’être désintéressée comme les précédentes.
Nous faisons aussi la rencontre de la grand-mère de notre héros. Une vraie pépite ! XD Je l’adore, et j’avoue que certains personnages secondaires sont vraiment très chouettes. Je pense notamment à Yoshitora qui se montre très prévenant avec ses employeurs malgré les demandes farfelues.
On en apprend aussi un peu plus sur la famille d’Issei. Là encore, on sent que cela va avoir son importance pour la suite. J’espère juste que l’on ne va pas tomber non plus dans un nouveau schéma malsain parce que le grand-frère m’a l’air d’être un sacré *******. Je n’ai rien contre quelque chose d’un peu tordu / psychologique, mais, il ne faut pas non plus que ça aille trop loin. A voir donc, mais ce deuxième tome de Promise Cinderella a su me convaincre, espérons que cela continue.

Le premier tome m’avait beaucoup plu. Il mêle émotion et humour avec brio. J’avais passé un super moment et franchement, j’étais impatiente de lire la suite. Et bien je peux vous dire que j’ai encore plus apprécié ce second tome! Je l’ai trouvé tout simplement génial. Surtout que l’histoire avance à grand pas mine de rien. J’ai plein de questions en tête là et je n’ai qu’une envie : avoir le prochain tome entre les mains!
Dans ce second tome, Hayame, femme au foyer ayant fui le domicile conjugal après la découverte de l’adultère de son mari, n’a plus nulle part où aller. Elle rencontre par hasard Issei, un lycéen aisé, qui l’accueille chez lui à condition qu’elle participe à un véritable “jeu de la vie”. Le nouveau défi de Hayame consiste à obliger son mari à lui payer une prestation compensatoire de trois millions de yens. Afin de rassembler des preuves de son infidélité, Hayame refoule ses sentiments et le prend en filature…
Une des choses qui me plaît dans cette histoire c’est le duo Hayame / Issei. Ils me font tellement rire. Le caractère de Hayame est un caractère très fort. Elle peut se montrer limite violente quand elle est vraiment énervée. Et Issei il a ce côté nonchalant qui me fait beaucoup rire pour le coup. Le grand moment de ce tome c’est le fait que Hayame doit faire face à son mari, du moins son ex. J’attendais tellement ce moment. Et je dois dire que Hayame m’a profondément touché. Cette scène était pleine d’émotions, j’ai vraiment eu de la peine pour elle.. Mais c’est surtout Issei qui m’a assez surpris sur le moment. Il aura beau dire ce qu’il veut, on voit bien qu’il s’attache à Hayame. La façon qu’il a de prendre soin d’elle nous le prouve clairement. J’ai beaucoup ri à la fin avec la grande-mère d’Issei. Ce moment était mais tellement drôle! Par contre la suite s’annonce mouvementée, j’ai plein de questions en tête et il me tarde d’avoir des réponses.
Ce second tome était vraiment excellent à lire. J’avais adoré le premier tome mais ce second m’a encore plus plu. J’adore les personnages, ils sont si drôles et ont des caractères fort. October 9, 2021All of these characters are... well, not awful, but deeply flawed at least. This could easily steer into toxic territory, which I've seen in many romance manga (and novels) before: where the dude isn't a bad boy but an asshole and the girl uses a particular brand of "girlpower" that is just annoying and/or harmful. (Nothing wrong with liking those kinds of stories, I just don't.)
Promise Cinderella, to me, is refreshing in its approach. Issei certainly has a toxic bad boy vibe going on but his cruelty is never painted as charming. There's reasons for why he's so emotionally stunted which are now, in volume 2, finally hinted on. They're not used to excuse his behaviour, though. They just give him some depth. Yeah, Issei is an immature brat with a major cruel streak, no sugar-coating in that, and he can neither control nor express his emotions properly. I still like him and I like reading about him, because sometimes I'm in the mood for reading about deeply flawed characters. It's fun.
Hayame isn't the media's typical "strong independant woman" but someone who THINKS she constantly needs to be strong and the only emotion she knows how to confidently express is anger, something I could very much relate to.
The divorce between Hayame and her (now ex-)husband gave us as the reader closure but it left me with a knot in my stomach, knowing that the glimpses we see of their relationship are something we could just as well see in a different kind of romance manga. Her ex isn't some cruel monster, he's painted as very human with flaws of his own, but all in all a kind-hearted person.
It feels like there are really no winners in the current situation.

In questo secondo volume la storia prende una piega più profonda rispetto al primo, risultando molto più coinvolgente e reale. Hayame, incalzata da Issei, decide finalmente di incontrare il marito per sistemare la questione del divorzio. Mi è piaciuto come è stato trattato il confronto tra i due ex coniugi. Non si riesce a non empatizzare per la povera Hayame e
Ma sono gli ultimi due capitoli a riservare le soprese maggiori con l'introduzione di quello che è già diventato il mio personaggio preferito: la nonna di Issei! Irriverente e furba come una volpe, ha letto il nipote come se fosse un libro aperto. Hayame lavorerà nello ryōkan di famiglia per sua richiesta, con grande gioia della giovane... quel che è certo, è che tra le mura di quell'albergo ne vedremo delle belle!
Ma sono gli ultimi due capitoli a riservare le soprese maggiori con l'introduzione di quello che è già diventato il mio personaggio preferito: la nonna di Issei! Irriverente e furba come una volpe, ha letto il nipote come se fosse un libro aperto. Hayame lavorerà nello ryōkan di famiglia per sua richiesta, con grande gioia della giovane... quel che è certo, è che tra le mura di quell'albergo ne vedremo delle belle!

男子高校生が「きつく言い過ぎたかな」と心配している次のシーンでは浮気夫を尾行している早梅が出てきて、相変わらず17歳と27歳の世界の差が歴然とする。
今後この二人が恋人になっていくんだろうが、27と37ならまだしも、まだ飲酒もできない高校生とアラサーに恋模様にはまだまだ慣れない。
と色々書いてたけれど、別に恋愛が最前面に出ているわけではない。
それに、やはり可愛い男の子がぶつくさ言いながら支えてくれるのは、見ていて萌える。
また、この巻には壱成の祖母が初登場。
いままでは壱成が周りを振り回し気味だったが、お財布の紐を握っている祖母には頭が上がらない。年相応な壱成を見るのも楽しい。

Lui è veramente un bello str*nzo. È vero che sotto sotto vuole solo aiutarla e si vede che non sa come esprimersi, ma anche meno, eh. Lei ha un bel carattere combattivo, però lui ha capito che la situazione con l'ex la fa soffrire e gira il macete nella piaga. Le scusanti arrivano fino a un certo punto.

The ex-husband is genuinely the worst!! However, the author decides to gaslight me again by turning the next chapter into a comedic argument while still discussing serious matters. There's not much going on in this volume, and it ends awfully.

Hayane confronts her husband, thanks to Issei. The reasons for their quarrel are somewhat absurd. It must be to make the situation comical. I like the drawings. Many panels are without dialogue, but they are understandable. Towards the end, Hayane gets a job

Hayame leidet immer noch sehr stark unter der Trennung von ihrem Mann und seinem Betrug. Also macht Issei es ihr zur Aufgabe, das Verhalten ihres Mannes zu dokumentieren, damit sie Schmerzensgeld verlangen und so weiter ihre Schulden abbezahlen kann. Da sie auf dem Papier noch verheiratet sind, macht dieser sich des Ehebruchs strafbar und soll laut dem vorlauten Jungen kriegen, was er verdient. Aber die Konfrontation mit Masahiro verläuft anders, als Hayama dachte.
Meine Meinung:
Nach dem tollen Auftakt war ich sehr gespannt, ob sich das Niveau halten kann oder diese Reihe dann doch nichts für mich ist. Aber zum Glück konnte es sich sogar noch steigern und fesselte mich von der ersten bis zur letzten Seite. Die Geschichte war ingesamt eher ruhiger, haute mich dafür aber emotional umso mehr um. Das auf und ab der Gefühle, die Verletzbarkeit der Charaktere und eine Ehe, die vor ihren Scherben stand, sorgten immer wieder für heftige Wendungen und ganz viel Schmerz, der greifbar war. Ich hatte viel Freude mit dieser Fortsetzung und bin sehr gespannt, was da noch alles kommt, denn hier scheint vieles möglich zu sein.
Es drehte sich nicht nur um die Erpressung und verletzte Gefühle, auch die Ehe allgemein von Masahiro und Hayame stand im Mittelpunkt. Wie lernten sich die beiden kennen, wie konnte es soweit kommen, dass er sie betrog ? In kleinen Rückblenden erfuhr man grob die Umstände und wie sie als Ehepaar funktionierten. Das war teilweise recht schmerzhaft und ging mir unter die Haut, wenn man den Verfall ihrer Beziehung und das Ende dieser mitverfolgt. Dabei entwickelt sich aber auch die "Beziehung" zwischen Issei und Hayame weiter, die immer noch sehr wackelig und kaum vorhanden war.
Das Spiel der beiden ging weiter, aber das emotionale Ungleichgewicht bei dem Schüler trat stärker hervor, was zu ein paar recht heftigen Szenen führte, wobei auch Hayame wieder kräftig austeilte. Die beiden hatten irgendwie eine tolle Chemie und ich liebte es, wenn sie sich mal wieder stritten und ihr Kräftemessen fortführten. Hayame hatte es defintiv nicht leicht; nicht nur, was ihre Scheidung und die finanziellen Probleme anging, aber sie gab nie auf und kämpfte manchmal ein wenig zu stark, aber ich fand das auch bewunderswert. Neue Figuren tauchten auf und durch Isseis älteren Bruder Seigo gab es neue Rätsel. Mein Highlight belibt aber die Großmutter der beiden Brüder, die es echt faustdick hinter den Ohren hatte und die Familie mit eiserner Hand führte.
Mit dem Zeichenstil musste ich zunächst ein wenig warm werden und fand ihn etwas einfacher gehalten. Irgendwie mochte ich das aber auch sehr gerne, zumal die Emotionen und Gesichtsausdrücke so auch besser rüberkamen.
Fazit:
Eine starke Fortsetzung, die auch etwas gesetzter wirkte und den Figuren Raum zum Atmen ließ. Man lernte Issei und Hayame ein wenig besser kennen und es war toll, wie ihre Beziehung zu ihrem Ehemann stärker ins Licht gerückt wurde, wobei natürlich auch ihr Spiel mit Issei nicht zu kurz kam. Das emotionale hin und her zwischen den Figuren; ihre Wut, Schmerz und Trauer waren sehr greifbar und gingen mir teils unter die Haut. Dabei kam aber auch der Humor nicht zu kurz und gerade durch die Großmutter kam es zu ein paar sehr unterhaltsamen Szenen. Nach dem Ende bin ich sehr gespannt, wie es weitergeht und von mir gibt es:

Der Band war sowohl emotional als auch sehr witzig. Hayame stellt sich widerwillig ihrem Mann und Issei zeigt langsam auch seine guten Seiten. Eigentlich scheint er recht sensibel zu sein, will es aber nicht zugeben. Ich hab ziemlich viel lachen müssen, hab aber auch ein wenig mitgelitten. Bin gespannt, wie's weitergeht.
