Awesome book. I decided to purchase this book after taking a class by Joan. Her class was much more thorough, and I'd suggest taking the class if you're a beginner. I've been sewing for years and everything was easy to follow. I've made four of the outfits, plus the hat.
Love that it has so many patterns. Plus you can take the basic patterns and add your own ideas to them. I think they accidentally printed a double sheet (as in, you'll be cutting one page of everything twice).
Haven't gotten far into it yet, but was immediately dissappointed that my library's copy has a note stamped in the back saying "Damage Noted: Pattern is missing" May I ask, what the heck is this book good for if there is no pattern in it?! Nevertheless, I'll still read through it to see if I should buy it.
