Hallucinating Jesus

Rate this book
Join the unforgettably lost Hank Wallace in a world where nothing is perfect and everything is only slightly more than a hallucination. Hank Wallace’s life was doomed from an early age after he lost his pet dog Jesus in a fire and a few years later found himself alone to fend for himself against his bitter father. Within no time, through no fault of his own, Hank is, by society’s account, a “dead loss.” Twenty years later, Hank is drugged out and heading to prison for the first time. There he will meet new and often strange friends, battle wild demons of his past and try as hard as he can to re-build his life. As Hank earnestly tries to find the innocence that he was robbed of as a child, other people are swept into Hank’s bizarre world. As a result, each of them too must question their own direction and will ultimately have their lives changed through their interaction with a man who is desperately trying to find happiness, safety and, above all else, Jesus. The final result is a vivid battle of good versus evil that Hank has no control over but will ultimately decide his destiny and will rock all those around him to their very foundation. “A wrecking ball of a book, told in new age style that will make you want to never put it down.”

Interesting, well-executed story, with many memorable characters. Some typographical/grammatical issues that should've been corrected by editor/publisher prior to publication. Otherwise, great read. Hard to put down, once started!
