In the distant future space travel is revolutionized by Jerid Thomas who creates a device he dubs the D.E.V.A system. A device that can break the walls of reality and pierce through to a strange realm devoid of light that becomes known as the Dark Corridor. In this strange space that seems to exist outside of our dimension, space ships can travel farther in our dimension than ever thought possible. Travel in this realm seems safe and many huge ships traverse this area of space for years without incident. That is until one such vessel, The Light In the Darkness, becomes lost and it is up to a former military hero Benjamin Keller and his crew to try and find the missing ship. Retracing the lost ship's flight, they soon find themselves within what can only be another dimension.
