This is absolutely one of my favorite series! Volume Two features two stories of doomed Detyens and their fated mates! Titles included are: Cyborg and Krayter. Below is a review of my favorite Detyen story because I fell in love with Max long ago! Both of these stories are amazing, though. Don’t miss this one!
*** Reviewing “CYBORG” ***
Max, a cyborg, was sitting on Nina Station, orbiting in space, enjoying the beauty around him. He glitched with a data dump, shook his head, and his vision cleared again. This was the third glitch in the past three weeks. He went back to his thoughts. His assistant entered and told him Captain Morvellan wanted to talk to him. As he listened to the captain’s complaint, a crew member ran in to report a cyborg had gone berserk and needed to be stopped. Max and the crew member were finally able to bring it down, but it was a close call.
Inrit, a Detyen female, was approaching the age where she must have a mate to bond with or she would die. She had already given up on finding her mate, her “denya”. A former pirate, she would not go back to that life. So she was moving on until she turned 30 when she would die. She was assigned to the engineering section of Captain Morvellan’s ship, and for the moment, she had a room all to herself.
As Max started on his paperwork at the station, he was called to a confidential video conference with Commander Nina. She had seen his malfunction reports and had to fire him and evict him from the station. Since Captain Morvellan had lost his cyborg when it went berserk, Max was hired and was put into the cyborg’s previous quarters – the same quarters that Inrit occupied! And when they each saw the other, sparks flew! The denya bond was undeniable. Would Max, who already knew he didn’t have very long to live, convince her to let him make sure that at least she survived? Would Inrit accept the cyborg as her bonded mate so that she could survive? Or was there more of a future ahead than either could imagine?
This is part of the “Mated to the Alien” series, and I loved it! The more you continue reading, the more it pulls you in and holds your attention. The character development was done very well, allowing the reader to get to know each one, both the good and the bad parts, and to know what to expect from them in the trials that are coming. Inrit, although a former pirate, was very honorable and kind. Max was just perfection – defective parts, perhaps, but he was a wonderful man and easy to love. I definitely recommend this book! The story line was good and the fast pace kept the reader fully engaged.

In Cyborg, Max is a Cyborg who is the head of security on Nina Station. Inrit, a Detyen and former pirate, is leaving Nina Port.
Max is bitter when he is fired from his position by Commander Nina, because he is glitching, and he could become a danger to others. Inrit is hired as an engineer on a ship of mercenaries for two years. Max hires on for three months as security, and they share quarters. She immediately knows he is her Denya, or fated mate. He is strongly drawn to her too. When pirates attack their ship, Max and Inrit must work together to save their fellow crew members and their passengers.
I love how strong Inrit is. She's a take no prisoners character. Max is also very strong as a cyborg, and he admires her strength. They are definitely well-suited. A guaranteed HEA makes for a great story about two people who never thought they'd find love.
In Krayter, he is on Earth to search for a Denya in New York. He is out exploring the landscape when he crash lands into the river behind Penny's cabin in the Highland Settlement, a human only area run by her father. While she doesn't believe aliens are necessarily bad, the rest of the settlers do.
Krayter is captured by Penny's sisters and tied up and blindfolded in their shed. He escapes when the girls go to bed for the night, and he climbs into Penny's room in the cabin. As soon as they make eye contact, he knows she is his Denya.
Penny concocts a dangerous plan to get Krayter, her two sisters and herself out of the settlement. Once they reach her mother's compound, where they drop off her sisters, Penny decides to go to New York with Krayter. She knows she cannot let him go. He finally tells her about the Denya price, and while she feels the pull too, she has to take time to get used to it. She wants him but is afraid. Ultimately she realizes she has been his since their first kiss.
Her father will go to any length to get his daughters back, and when Penny is kidnapped, Krayter will need to join his forces with her mother's to get his Denya back.
While Penny had given up hope that there was a man for her out there, Krayter was cautiously optimistic and has hope for the other Detyens.
This is another fantastic story in the Detyen universe, which is a great place to escape to. Both stories were a quick read, and stand alone, although there are relationships built in previous books. The box set is well worth the purchase, and the read. Enjoy!

Cyborg
Max is in his element as Security Chief on Nina Station. But lately he has begun to glitch and they are coming more frequently and he is blacking out for longer periods. When Nina herself finds out, Max is retired from his job. He may have money socked away but not enough to get his glitches fixed. He instead signs on as Security on a cargo vessel and sails off into the stars.
Also on the Kella is Inrit (who we met in book 3). She has decided to leave the planet behind and sail as far away from her former pirate life as she can get. She didn't figure on getting Max as a room-mate though! But when the Denya link kicks in she is left lost for words. This time the tables are turned, she has plenty of time but Max is glitching all over the place!
But when Pirates strike can the security chief with memory problems and a former pirate rescue their ship?
Maz is just so lovable! He thinks he's ready for the scrap heap but Inrit sees more to him than a glitchy cyborg. Inrit herself has issues with her self worth due to her criminal past. But my word that woman is like the female McGyver! Giver her a piece of metal and bubblegum and she can save the day! Absolutely loved this latest story!
Krayter
The Detyans are on Earth!
Kayleb and Krayter have moved to Earth looking for possible Denyas. But when Krayter goes on a scouting mission, he gets shot down by a forcefield over very dangerous country, think very strict cult who HATE aliens!!
Penny is the eldest daughter of the leader of said cult but even though she and her sisters have been immersed in this rhetoric, they still come to Krayters aid, albeit with ropes and threats of harm included! Penny knows she has to get Krayter away from her father ASAP. but she didn't think her two young sisters would come to! But Resa and Nicole are hellions and will not be left behind at their fathers mercy.
They end up on the run, ambushed and they are plenty of twists and turns to get your blood pumping. Penny is reluctant at first when she realises what she is to Krayter, but I loved all the wooing he did, he really had to work for his HEA.
I really can't wait for the next book cos I need to know that poor Kayleb is ok. He was in a sorry state by the end of this book.

2 full books in the Mated to the Alien series! This is books 4 and 5 of the series, so you may want to start at the beginning of the series; these can work as stand-alones, but for a full overall story starting at the beginning may be good.
Cyborg - 5 stars
Love this alien world the author has built in her books! I’ve enjoyed each book I’ve read so far, and I’m excited for more! This one has Max, a cyborg, and Inrit, a red alien, finding that mate connection. Unfortunately, Max is having issues with his cyborg parts, which could lead to his death. Plus, there’s space pirates on the loose! The connection between Inrit and Max is totally wonderful and sweet. Both help protect and support the other, and they have some great steamy passion going on. Both characters are great! Inrit is a strong lady and she uses her brain. Loved the whole cyborg angle with Max; a fun idea, and it makes him formidable. Fun alien adventure and romance!
Krayter - 5 stars
Loved the premise for this one! Alien Krayter crash lands in enemy territory; a human only area on Earth that is shoot to kill against aliens, but luckily for him, he finds some help from Penny. Human Penny has been raised to hate aliens, but she has a mind of her own and uses her intelligence to realize hate isn’t the way. Loved Penny’s strength, and that she stands up for herself and those she loves. Krayter is a sweetheart! Good chemistry between them; Love the whole Denya/Mate scenario too. Some good action! Fun and entertaining! I’ve really enjoyed every book I’ve read of Rudolph’s; one of my favorite alien romance authors, excited for more!

The stories are with wonderful characters to be interested in as I read their romance that has drama and action to keep me flipping the pages in my favorite pleasure, reading alien romances. Cyborg
Since I read the other books in this series, I have heard mention of Max and how he helped others. I had no Idea at the time that he was a cyborg. I really enjoyed this story because you have a security specialist who falls for a pirate, go figure. I love these books because they are set in space and again the hero and heroine have to overcome an obstacle that could lead to their death. I think it is funny that they try so hard not to fall in love but what the heart wants the heart gets. I also like that they do not just jump into the sex but work up to it. I do not like a book that is nonstop sex, one good go at it is good but the build up is great. Another good read by Kate

The poor Deyton’s have to find a mate by a certain age and they seem to be having good luck with humans. They have no home planet and females are hard to come by. I will continue to read all these books as they come out because there are still a few I would like to know what will happen to them. I can’t wait for the next adventure.

Cyborg review - This is a sci-fi romance with an amazing space adventure. Inrit is one of the few females of her race. She will die when she turn thirty unless she can find the one male that is her mate. She is a reformed pirate that just wants to enjoy the last years of her life. That is until she meets one cyborg. Max may be classified as human but he is a cyborg. He’s stronger, smarter and faster now. But his kind are looked down upon. And now a glitch in his system may me his own death. Expect plenty of space drama and fighting as these two try to survive and maybe find love.
Krayter review - I love these Detyens. Krayter has only recently arrived on Earth. But not paying attention where he was going on a speeder will show him that not all of earth welcomes aliens. Penny lives with her father and two younger sisters. But her father is the controlling sort and will kill any alien on site. So when one falls onto their lands Penny will have to make some hard decisions. The story has plenty of danger from humans and some sweet romance from aliens.

NO MATTER THE PREJUDICE, PEOPLE CAN’T BE TRUSTED

Cyborg and Krayter are books about the Detyan race, a people whose planet was destroyed by an unknown entity. They have a problem that if they don’t find their denya, mate, by the age of thirty, they will die. It seems as if the human race is the salvation for the Detyans as they are beginning to find their denyas in humans. Cyborg deals with Max, the cyborg, and M’Inrid, the Detyan woman who is twenty-seven and believes there is no hope of her finding her denya. Krayter, the Denyan who met M’Inrid on his way to Earth in Cyborg, meets, Penny on Earth after his speed bike crashes into Alien-free territory, an anti-alien compound.
The journey of theses Detyans show that there is prejudice and deceit everywhere, not only against the aliens, but against the cyborgs too, even though they changed themselves to help protect humanity.

2. Krayter had speeder issues and crashed into a river near a town area known as anti-alien habitat. Pulled from the craft unconscious by two sisters and taken to a shed, he awakes to see a third older sister (Penny), trying to figure out what to do to hide him. Family goes from imprisoning him to accepting him (except her father), slowly, but Penny never wavers. Tension builds as kidnapping, family deceit, lies and lots of blaster fire. The ending is great. Now one more in the group needs to find his mate and fast!!

There are two stories here, Max and Inrit and Krayter and Penny. Max is a cyborg with memory glitches and Inrit is a Detyen, an alien people who must find their denya, mate, by the age of 30 or die. They find each other by chance crewing on a ship and bond protecting the ship from pirates. Krayter and his brother came to Earth to find their denyas. While searching, Krayter crashes in an alien hating settlement where he is rescued by two teenage girls who are the leader’s daughters. Penny is their older sister and Krayter recognizes her as his denya immediately. Penny’s father doesn’t want to let her go so she escapes with Krayter and her younger sisters. The stories are well written with memorable characters and I would like to read more of the series. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.

Cyborg - This the the story of Max and Inrit, two people who both have an end date in the near future who end up meeting on a ship and find out they are meant for each other. Of course things do no go smoothly and I was entertained. Was good fun read.
Krayter - This is a great story in this series about fated mates with an alien twist. It is about Krayter and first how he finds his mate and then what they must go through to get their happy ending because of course things go wrong. The story was fun to read with enough heat to enjoy. I loved how Krayter and Penny interact. Gota love a human girl meets hot alien story and this one was a good read.

These two stories were high on the adventure and drama, one in space and one on earth, I liked them both; although it took a bit of time to get into the first story, the plot and characters eventually drew me in. Max and Inrit were absolute equals in strength and determination. The plot was interesting and their romance was compelling, Penny and Krayter’s story was set on earth and was fast paced and enjoyable. I recommend this box set.

This collection of books include: Cyborg and Krayter. This Book 4 and 5 in the Mated to the Alien Series are exceptionally-written stories with amazing characters that are strong, powerful and arrogant. These characters are well crafted and you feel as if you know them and feel their emotions. These stories have action, adventure, twists, turns, chemistry and love. This is a must read collection in a great series by an amazing Author

I loved these books, they are two tales of doomed Detyens and their fated mates. It pulled me in from the very first page and I couldn't stop reading. Their well written and well developed and the characters have a great chemistry together and go good together. I loved Max, a cyborg and Inrit, a Detyen female the best when they met the sparks did fly, they were an amazing couple and I couldn't stop reading about their story. I can't wait to read more.

The mix of alien races, combined with the nature of humans, makes these books superb. The writing is excellent at drawing the reader into another universe. Well detailed and emotive, these books have wonderfully thought out storylines that make it difficult to put them down. Exactly as described in the blurb, these books will satisfy all science fiction romantics who like the concept of the blurb.

These are two stories of doomed Detyens. The first story is about Max a cyborg who is getting old and starting to glitch. Can he find a fix before it’s too late? What happens when he meets his sexy new roommate Inrit? The second is about Krayter who goes to Earth looking for his Denya before the madness kicks in when he turns thirty. This is a great box set! I really enjoyed the characters, their dynamics and of course the steam ;) Expect action, drama, adventure, and in Cyborg, some...glitches to hold your attention. They were both a one-sit reading experience, for me, and highly entertaining in their diversity. Looking forward to more by this author :)

The Detyens tragic story is so compelling. To lose their planet and most of their population is overwhelming. Some of them become the soulless and will live on beyond their 30 years. It's assumed to be an irreversible process, and they regroup and mush on. It is a stunning surprise when they start meeting their mates and the soulless are among them!

I loved it, two more aliens finding their mates and a female this time. The stories were action packed with excellent world building, well written characters and end edge of the seat action and drama.

I absolutely love Kate Rudolph's alien stories! Getting bundles of her stories are an amazing deal. In this one you get Max a cyborg and Inrit a reformed pirate and Krayter a Deyten and Penny a human.
