We saw these two in the last book this one is pretty fast pace and some steam.

Malin is feeling anxiety his wolf is going alittle wack and he smells his mate and when he sees who it is he's all in even if they have this sorta hate/love relationship in his eyes. Camden is confused and annoyed that Malin claimed she's his mate now when all he has done is be mean to her since she got there. So she isn't making it easy for him she did reject him few times because she thinks he truly doesn't love her because of some mating thing. But she gets proven wrong when Malin is pulling out the stops to show her shes his.

I was eh with Camden I understand why she was always pushing away but few times it got annoying and she was kinda mean to Malin before....

First impressions

This is one of those books that is fast-paced and yet not fast enough. I loved watching these two overcome their first meeting to grow together as an unexpected couple. That wasn’t the only thing they had to overcome though since their pasts played a big part in their present. In the beginning I was at a slight disadvantage because I hadn’t read the first book. But the author sprinkled details from the past throughout and I quickly came up to speed. The characters were easy to relate to and I found myself hoping for them to find their HEA. It might have encouraged me to read a little faster to see what happened in the end. This book was perfect to while away the hours and I will be sure to catch up before I move on to book three.

First things first; I really like the cover of this book!
Romanced by the Beta is the second book in the ‘’red ridge pack’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters loveable and the storyline enjoyable. Malin and Camden have had a mutual dislike for one another. When Camden turns eighteen, Malin learns that Camden is his mate. Will Malin get his mate or will Camden refuse?
The chemistry between Malin and Camden is clear to see and I liked them together. I liked that Camden made Malin work for it. She wasn’t going to instantly forget his past attitude. I thought Malin was adorable at times.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

To say that Camden is not impressed is to put it mildly but neither is able to resist the pull that is between them. Camden makes Malin work for her and watching the clueless man romance his mate made for a sweet and sexy read.

This book is supposed to be a really quick smut read but I just couldn’t finish it. I think I got to like 50-60% and I’m not impressed by the H. The h is a little annoying but I get where she’s coming from he’s literally putting in no effort.

I get that maybe for the last 40% he might be better but this book is tiny so that doesn’t give him a lot of time to redeem himself.

I read the 4th book in the series first so I saw how much effort the bear shifters put in to win over their mate and the H is this book is just pathetic in comparison.

Also the H and h have nothing going for them other than a mate bond like this man doesn’t even try to get to know her or put effort into dates for most of the book. h deserves better.

Since this is the second book in the series, I began already knowing Camden and Malin would end up with their happily every after but how they go there was surprising!
Instead of going the easy route and giving these two tortured souls an easy to at falling in love Alder chose to make both of them work for it, keeping the reader wondering when they would finally get together.
I have fallen in love with this entire pack and can't wait to read their stories!

Romanced by the Beta is book two in the Red Ridge Pack series by the powerhouse due of Cameron Hart and Shaw Hart, writing as Skye Alder. Romanced by the Beta continues where Possessed by the Alpha left off. Malin and Camden are trying to learn how to deal with their respective best friends being mated together. They are also both very protective of their bff's. Unfortunately, that protectiveness takes a weird turn as Camden gets closer to her eighteenth birthday. Once the two learn they are each others mates, personalities clash. Words and feelings from the past have a nasty way of rearing their head. Malin is pushing for Camden to just accept that they are mates, but Camden can't get over how much Malin "hated" her and Bea when they arrived to Red Ridge. Taking a page and some much needed advise from Gunner and Bea (Possessed by the Alpha) and other friends in the pack, Malin tries to court Camden and prove he can be the mate she deserves, but does he succeed? Read Romanced by the Beta to find out. This is another quick, amazing read by Skye Alder. I love this series and love getting to see more of the characters that started in book one and continue to cross over into the following books. I cannot wait for the next in the series.

Malin has been unsettled and his wolf has been restless. It started when Bea and Camden came to town and his alpha mated Bea. Malin has a hard time trusting strangers and he doesn't like humans too much. Even though Camden is human he and his wolf can't stay away from her. Then comes the day of Camden's 18th birthday and he gets the scent of his mate and it is Camden. He is ready to claim her as his own but she walks away.

Camden has spent most of her life in foster care. She doesn't let anyone close except her best friend Bea. When Bea went looking for her dream man, Camden went along to help protect her. Now Bea has mated the alpha, Camden is trying to figure out what to do. She never dreamed that someone would call her their mate. She is annoyed when her mate expects her to just go along with it. Malin has treated her badly and she is ready to just fall in bed with him. He at least has to make up for some of his bad behavior. Can a wolf shifter really change his ways?

This is my first time reading a book by this author, and I have some thoughts...👀

It was a Okayish read. Nothing out of the ordinary. I didn't feel a strong connection to the characters, and I didn't think they had much depth, particularly Camden. The sex scences were okay as well. (kind of cringe) . I thought she was a little too childish; I'm all for a 'push and pull,' but it wasn't done well, and for a shifter romance, I expected the pull between them to be a little stronger. And I don't believe Camden's background was ever revealed to Malin...

Speaking of Malin,
Malin is soo cute! The way he would act like a puppy ahh he has my heart.

Nevertheless, There is always room for improvement!! The story line is really good. I wished it was a slightly longer book with more development. I didn't dislike the entire book! I got laughs and awh moments between character and I'm super curious about Bea and Gunners book👀🤩

Camden feels the attraction to Malin but is determined to fight it tooth and nail. Will they be able to overcome Malins treatment to Camden when she first arrived? Will Camden let down her walls and let Malin love her? You wont regret reading this series. I love it and cant wait for the next one!!

I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
When Bea and Camden arrived in Red Ridge after finding Gunner injured in the woods, they met Gunner's second in command - a beta by the name of Malin. Malin was openly aggressive and opposed to the girls being there - after all they were humans. We never found out what he had against humans but in this book it turns out that his parents were hunted and killed by humans when he was young. Now all the pieces fall into place, but then there are some complications because suddenly Malin decides that Camden is his mate. Camden isn't a push-over and she puts up a really good fight and gives back as good as she gets. It was interesting seeing these two find themselves and in the process find each other. It is one of the sweetest and most emotional romance stories I've read in a long time.
Highly recommended read.

What an awesome switch up! Camden came to the Red Ridge Pack with her friend Bea. With Bea mated to the alpha Gunner, they are both here to stay. From the moment they arrived, Malin, Gunner's second in command, his beta has shown his true feelings. Suddenly though, he can't seem to stop thinking about her. When she turns eighteen, he realizes she is his mate. Camden doesn't want anything to do with that! He has been so awful to her since they arrived so her answer is no. Malin thinks it will be so easy, fated mates means they will be together. But he is going to have to work for it! Isn't that amazing, I loved it! Malin didn't automatically know what to do in order to win her affection. He had to work for it! Such a fun read, I highly recommend! Can't wait for the next pack book!

When Bea and Camden first came into the Red Ridge Pack, Malin, the pack beta, had not been very nice to her. She didn’t appreciate his grumpy mood. But by the time Camden turns 18, Malin’s wolf starts acting a bit odd. He finally identifies his mate’s scent! Unfortunately for him, it turns out to be Camden. Their bickering and banter has not made her very accepting of the mate idea. She especially doesn’t like thinking that he doesn’t really love her since it’s the mate thing and he has no choice.

So Camden is annoyed at Malin’s change of attitude toward her after being such a grouch all along. Now he has to turn on the charm and convince her that she is his and that he truly wants her. Can he do it? Will she forgive his previous sniping and finally accept his claim?

When Cam first comes to the pack Malin (the beta) was not very nice to either of them. Begrudgingly accepting Cam’s friend Bea as she is the alphas mate Malin is still rude to Cam. When Cam finally turns 18 Malin’s wolf recognizes her as his mate but Cam is not going to let his attitude go down as nothing. She puts up a fight and makes Malin prove to her he wants her for more than just because fate has thrown them together. Really cute story I love the dual virgin fated mates of this series. The only thing I didn’t like was Malin’s grumpiness towards humans never seemed truly justified or explained but other than that it was an adorable story that I really enjoyed.

I am a bit disappointed in this book. For one, I was expecting Malin to be romantic because Bea eluded to it in the previous book but there was nothing but him being impatient and wanting his mate which brings me to my second issue. I wanted this book to be different, and for the whole mate thing to come out way later as I wanted these two to find comfort in each other and work out their issues together, Malin with his trust issues of humans and Camden also with her issues with people. No, that's wrong. It wasn't a want but a need. All these books bleed together and need something to be different and in all honesty with these two who were hurting it needed to be different; to show that their connection was more than just them being mates because she turned 18 and he suddenly needed her.

I thought that this was a great book. Malin and Camden are fantastic together. You get to meet these two in Possessed by the Alpha but now it their turn for their own book! I loved Malin and Camden's banter with each other but also their connection and chemistry. Malin is willing to do anything to get Camden to be his mate but Camden isn't going to make it easy for Malin after the way he treated her and Bea when they first met. I believe that this is a must read book and my favorite so far out of the series. I would recommend this book and these awesome authors!

Wolf shifter and pack beta Malin doesn’t trust humans on the best of days, but he finds the two females who suddenly appear in his town especially suspicious. After his alpha claims Bea, one of the women, he finds himself reluctantly drawn to protect her friend Camden. It’s a match made in a fireworks factory. Camden thinks Malin is a jerk and when he informs her she’s his fated mate, the strong-willed Camden pushes back. Of course we know they’ll end up together, but oh how much fun it is to watch them get there.

She came with Bea, her best friend, and stayed. Malin is the last thing she wants but she feels drawn to him anyway. When he realizes she is his mate, he will have to win her over. There are enough sparks to set things on fire at times. They have a chance at a happy future together once they get past the drama. I enjoyed the characters and they story. I am really looking forward to the third book in this series

I loved that Malin and Camden got their own book after reading about them in Possessed by the Alpha.

Malin is a grumpy alpha shifter and Gunner’s right hand man. Camden is Bea’s BFF. They started off on the wrong foot due to Malin being distrustful of humans. Then Camden turns 18 and all Malin can think of is “MATE.” I love that Camden didn’t give into Malin right away and made him work for her. Once he opened up Malin was a total sweetheart.

I can’t wait to see which shifters, in the Red Ridge Pack, will find their mate next. This series is soo good!

Camden and Bea had arrived in Red Ridge after following the dreams Bea about a green eyed man who becomes a wolf. They are found in the woods by green eyed Gunner and Malin member of the Red Ridge Pack. Bea and Gunner become mates and Camden moves into her own place. Later when she has her eighteenth birthday Malin shocks her by claiming she is his mate which due to the way he has acted towards her since she arrived she reject and walks away. Malin must find a way to change her mind about him.

Camden may have watched her best friend Bea fall in love super fast, but it will take a lot more than fate to have have Cam falling at her mates feet.
When she finally turns 18, the last person she ever thought would be her mate comes storming into her life demanding they bond. Too bad for Malin she's convinced herself that they are sworn enemies and Malin hasn't exactly gone out of his way to make Camden feel welcome.
However, Camden didn't come to the Red Ridge Pack without her own problems. She already has one man stalking and trying to control her. She's determined to not fall for another psycho man.

I couldn't wait for this book. This is the second book in this Red Ridge Pack series. This story is about Malin and Camden and their journey to their happily ever after. Camden is the beta of the wolf pack and Malin is a human and they don't mix or do they? Everything changes when Malin turns eighteen and Camden finds out she is his fated mate. The story is fast paced, it will hold your attention all the way through. I am looking forward for the next book. You don't want to miss this one.

Fated mates enemies to lovers romance.

I really liked this short story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable although I thought that Camden would have made Malin work a little more to make it up to her. Malin and Camden didn’t like each other when they met. They aren’t friends. When Camden turns 18, everything changes…for Malin. He wasn’t prepared for Camden to fight his claim. The interactions between them were fun and sassy. I loved their happily ever after. I recommend reading this book.

Are you telling me that the one shifter who was raised as a HUMAN is the one who doesn’t think he’s gonna need to woo his HUMAN mate? And doesn’t know how? Please, authors, think two seconds before introducing a plot point. Also, this girl is freshly eighteen. She literally turns eighteen in chapter one. I have no idea how old Malin is, but it felt icky. Especially when he calls her “little girl” during sex. Ugh. And the last 40% is mostly sex, with a couple paragraphs in between that lead from one sex scene to the next.

Oh my goodness these two are just my favorite so far. Malin and Camden the BFFS to Gunner and Bea.

They did not like each other right away as Malin wasn't sure about these human outsiders. Love his sad backstory heart. And too bad fate has other plans as Camden turns 18 and suddenly Malin sees her as his mate. Also in fates crazy plans are to not make this easy on Malin.

I love that Camden is like nahhhh I'm not just going to be your mate because the moon and fate says I am. She also just shuts his half assed attempts at wooing her down and I loved it. These two get to know each other and find out fate had it right and they get a very sweet HEA.

Fated mates can be great... but what happens when you don’t like your mate? Camden finds herself in this predicament when Malin interrupts her new life in Red Ridge with one word, Mate.
This was a quick shifter-story and book number two in the Red Ridge series. While you don’t have to read book number one, the relationships would be easier to understand if you do (plus Possessed by The Alpha is a great story!).

Camden came into town with Bea. Bea is mated to Gunner the alpha. Now that Camden is turning 18 Malin the Beta finds out she's his mate. However things aren't smooth sailing since Camden doesn't want a man. Now Malin is all growl no bite but Camden hasn't figured that out yet. She just escaped a psycho ex. How much longer will she deny the bond? Can Malin get the love of his life? Can he convince her to give him a chance?

Camden and Belin

Berlin and Camden, have been at each others throat since Camden and her friend arrived in Red ridge so it's with a shock that at Camden 18th birthday they realised they are fated, mates. But Camden is not ready to forgive Belin so he will gave to work extra hard to keep his mate. It was a good read though I felt that after her aggressive denials, Camden gave in very easily.

This was such a great PNR/ fated mates romance. I simply loved this story and I was hoping to get this paring already from the first time Malin and Camden met in the first book and when it was made clear that Malin was not yet 18, I was sure that they were fated mates. The story was really great and I loved how Camden made Malin work for her. And he really put an effort into proving himself worthy of her love. I loved this story and I can’t wait to see what’s next in this series.
