Madison finds that creating a Web site for the school election is easy, but when things start to go wrong, she wonders if there is a campaign plot against her.

As I continue my reread of this series (a childhood favourite), again this was another very nostalgic read that I can’t help but give five stars to. I read and reread this book (along with the rest of the series) countless times during my youth.
While reading, I couldn’t help but think about how encouraging it would have been to be reading this as my younger self and having a main female character interested in coding and computers. Yes, she also has the average interests and insecurities of other preteen girls but I liked her hobby surrounding computers.
Even though there are some moments that seem dramatic, that’s also just life of a preteen and I’m pretty sure I would have acted similarly.
I used to love this series when I was in grades five to seven, and still learning English. Thanks to a Popsugar Reading Challenge 2017 prompt to revisit childhood favourites, I decided to reread this one. The best part about it was how integral technology and social media were in the life of the main character. So many books shied away from these, so they wouldn't feel so dated a decade later. Personally, that was the best part. The books were relevant and I also liked that she had both girls and boys for best friends.

This book is about a technology geek girl-Madison Francesca Finn, who has been chosen to organize and create a website for the class elections. However, she is stuck in the middle since one of her best friends- Aimee, will be competing against the most popular girl, Poison Ivy. Even worse, the web site has been sabotaged. It's up to Madison to find out who.
This was my very first Madison Finn book to own! :P I remember liking it because it was about school elections (if my memory does not fail me), and I could relate in some way. :)
This was one of my favorite childhood series and one of the first series I remember reading so I've been trying to purchase them to reread. Reading this brought back so much nostalgia and so many good memories. I'm giving this four stars simply for the great time I'm having rereading these books. This one is about Madison Finn becoming the head designer for the school website. It's election time so the campaign is going on and someone hacks the website. So you're following along as they try to figure out who is doing it. This was a fun fast read that I got through in one sitting. Can't wait to continue my reread of this series!
It's been a while since I read a Middle-grade book and I have to be honest I was pleasantly surprised. Maddie is very relatable when it comes to her struggles and worries as a 7th Grader. The friendships were healthy, the fun was always there and she just seemed to learn a lot by the end of this book. The little mystery/conspiracy trope thing kind of surprised me in a good way.
this is the very FIRST book I remember reading. I was in grade 4 and this got me into reading LOLOLOL. When school libraries start stocking their shelves with books like these again maybe more preteens would turn into boring people who find excitement only in written fiction 🤚🏽🙄
When Madison's computer teacher Mrs.Wing asks her if she wants to help with the school's computer site Madison is so excited. Madison is so excited because the elections are coming up and she gets help out with it. Then she hears Aimee is running for class president. After that things get weird.
The second book of Maddie is all about voting to be the president of the 7th graders. There are many struggles especially the lizard scandal. But finally, Poison Ivy won for being the President.
