The last pop-up page of the snowbugs is the most elaborate pop-up in the book. For once my nephew and I agreed on our favorite page, the page “Who’s behind the snow fort? The crazy wild Snowball bugs.” Those were the best.

I don’t think this is David’s best work, but it’s still a good pop-up book. The nephew still loves to study them and figure out how they work. He gave this 4 stars.

Very strange little book that is not consistent in character - are the bugs inanimate objects with wings that make up the world or are the bugs actors in the world?

No real story, but children love this one (and all the other "bug books" by Carter) because of the simple words they can either learn to read themselves or anticipate and because of the fun pop-ups. An oft-read favorite of the children.

Cute pop up! I read this one at work today during an outreach for third graders and they loved it! Never too old for a pop up book.
