65% - Did Not Finish
So I want to start out by saying that I really loved the first book, but this book just threw me through a loop that I wasn't expecting for this book. The story started out really good, but right away i got the weird vibe off of Quinn and once Eve was introduced to the story, I started to get a sick feeling in my stomach. I was expecting the turns the book took and I personally didn't care for it. I also hated how Ariane reacted and what she agreeded to. If that was me there would be no way that WOULD EVER happen. I do like the authors writing style and I can't wait to read more books by her.

As I reviewed Shared, I took the chance to read the sequel. I knew Quinn, Liam, and Ariane well already, so when I started Shared Too I was pleased to find I slipped back into their lives easily as though I had never had a break.
It’s ten years later, and the trio have had children, who go to boarding school. This is just as well, because what happens in Shared Too isn’t something that could be accomplished with children around—unless they are seriously heavy sleepers! The trio are incredibly happy still…but are they? Ariane certainly thinks so, as does Liam. She’s our wonderful heroine who, because of the talented Ms Harlem’s 1st person perspective, is shown as a deep-thinking, lovely woman who is shocked by Quinn’s revelation. Of course, she would be, because she was under the impression they all had exactly what they needed. She was secure, happy, and everything worked out just fine.
But Quinn has been working with a woman, Eve, and has found himself attracted to her. Eve…I didn’t like her purely because she was the reason for upsetting the balance in the trio’s relationship—of course, Quinn had something to do with it because he had developed sexual feelings towards her, but still, I enjoyed solely blaming her because I didn’t want to blame him. He’s gorgeous, so very lovely, and I can imagine how he felt because Eve is dominant, makes it clear she’s after him, and really, a man would have to be made of granite to not feel something for her—she’s gorgeous too.
Ariane is understandably shocked at Quinn’s revelation, and he puts it to her and Liam why he feels the need to explore with Eve. Ariane is understanding, but I really got hooked by her internal reaction. Of course she’d feel this new turn of events would upset her life, their relationship, and everything they had built up. Of course she’d wonder if she wasn’t enough for the two men, as she had been for the past decade. But she agrees, because she loves Quinn and wants him to be happy.
Liam isn’t pleased about this—he is devoted to Quinn and Ariane, is the nurturer, the one I feel Ariane has a closer bond with, if only for the friendship side of it and being able to express her feelings without receiving any ridicule. But Liam wants Ariane to be happy, and so the rules are set down for Quinn to have his time with Eve.
**PLOT SPOILER ALERT!**
What Quinn doesn’t know is that a camera has been set up in the bedroom he takes Eve into, and Liam and Ariane watch the show. Ariane watches out of curiosity, and also, I felt, to see how Quinn acted with another woman. She’s human, she needs reassurance as to why Quinn feels the need to be with someone other than her, and I understood her reasoning and her reaction. Liam is concerned about how it affects Ariane—he is such a caring, wonderful man—and sits beside her for support.
The tangle of emotions portrayed throughout Shared Too is incredibly real and thought-provoking. One might ask why Quinn wanted to sample another woman if he’s in a committed ménage relationship, that his revelation was nothing short of asking for permission to commit adultery, but the fact he did ask says a lot about him. But my understanding of this change in Quinn was that he is human. Time moves along, life happens, Eves or Adams come along and entice. He found himself wanting more than he had—haven’t we all felt like that at some point?—and he got what he wanted.
I felt Ariane and Liam loved him enough to allow him to get this “urge” out of his system. They wanted what was best for him, and despite it not sitting well with either of them, not deep down anyway, they agreed. That is the main point here—they did agree. I don’t think Quinn would have done anything without their consent.
As it turned out, his tryst with Eve worked well and gave Ariane and Liam a new insight into how Quinn ticked, what he wanted in the bedroom. His encounter with the seductive siren (that’s how I came to think of her) made the trio's sexual relationship more erotic and hot.
I particularly loved the scene where Ariane came to know what Quinn wanted. Her feelings, her thoughts about herself and how it would affect them all, were very real and, to be honest, a little heartbreaking from my perspective. If she had accepted it any other way—more easily or with just a shrug—it wouldn’t have rang true for me, and her introspection, examining her self and why she might not be all Quinn wanted anymore…it was a poignant, beautiful scene that I will never forget.
I also enjoyed the voyeur scene, seeing how it affected Ariane in ways she hadn’t imagined. She had been prepared to hate watching, to be uncomfortable, jealous, and all the other emotions you would expect in such a situation, but as well as feeling all those things, she felt something else… This was very real.
I also liked, when Ariane met Eve for the first time, how Ariane tried desperately to hate her. She inspected the woman, taking everything about her in, and this is exactly how any woman would be in her situation, I think. Comparing herself to Eve, examining their differences and why Quinn found Eve attractive. What was it about her he liked? Ariane was polite, making sure her body language didn't betray what she felt inside, and she made Eve welcome. But the internal war she waged...it was wonderfully written, brilliantly crafted.
An excellent sequel to Shared that brought forth a tumult of emotions that I dealt with bit by bit as I read, pausing to digest and wonder, to think about how this revelation would affect me. I would be outraged, and I enjoyed seeing how Ariane dealt with something so massive, so potentially relationship-destroying.
Although Shared Too can be read perfectly fine by itself, I would recommend reading Shared first because if you don’t, you not only miss out on a delightful read, you also miss out on getting to know the characters so that by the time you read Shared Too, you have a better understanding of who they are and how this new intrusion in their lives will affect them.

As a sequel to Shared it was interesting to see a more day to day life for the threesome in Shared Too. We get a better understanding of the three main characters Quinn, Liam, and Ariane and how they make their relationship still work.
I was very apprehensive when Eve was first introduced and felt outraged on Ariane’s behalf. As a reader, I didn’t want anything to mess up the relationship between Quinn, Ariane, and Liam. I had to keep reading. I had to know how Lily Harlem was going to make it all okay.
There ultimately is major disruption to the threesome. Along with a plot twist that will have you on edge. I’m not going to give away more than that or it will ruin the story. The story revolves around the disruption and how the characters deal with it together and on their own.
I will say that this is one hot, erotic story that will leave you breathless. The love scenes are sensual because Lily Harlem has previously set up a connection to the characters giving them depth and making the reader care about them. The sex scenes are just off the chart hot and exciting.
Even though I was a little apprehensive about the direction of the story, I really liked the journey that it took me on. As the story unfolds, the adage of “if you love something set it free” becomes a mantra. I really liked the way this story was wrapped up and the adage “what doesn’t kill you will make you stronger” rang true here.

Now married to both men with twin girls, she thinks everything is good in her world until she realizes that one of her husbands is lusting after a co-worker.
A sequel to Shared. Shared Too takes on a drastic turn from the first book where I was left with the feeling that Ariane, Quinn, and Liam would live happily ever after. I even formed an attraction to both Quinn and Liam and thought they were the perfect male specimens. However, my feeling for Quinn took a nosedive in this book and I did not know if I hated him or loved him for the first half of the story. Thank God for Quinn as he was pretty much the glue that kept everything from falling apart between the three even though he had a lot of stress and fear that he hid from the others.
This story is high on the emotional scale and kept me anxious and on the brink of tears a time or two with fear that their perfect world would come to an end from one calamity or another. Truly, this story has a new and enthralling plot with a number of unique twists that added a lot of sparks in the sex scenes and left me fanning my face a few times. I even got my first taste of F/F sex, which I found quite a delightful experience, and it definitely added a new level of excitement to the storyline.
One thing is certain, I will not forget this book any time soon and may even read it again in the future. I would recommend reading the first book, Shared, to get a better view of each of the characters personalities and how they met, however, it is not necessary in order to follow and enjoy Shared Too.
I will be keeping an eye out for more books by Ms. Harlem in the future.

Shared Too is a sequel but I feel it can be read alone. The story has you realizing that in life every relationship has its up and downs.
Ariane has been married for 10 years to two amazing wonderful men Liam and Quinn and nothing surprised her more than when after all these years Quinn seems out of sorts.
Their life in the country on a farm was ideal for a perfect life. After taking their daughters to boarding school Ariane was looking for some time alone with her husbands where they can have sexual encounters wherever and whenever they feel the moment. Liam and Ariane are in sync and feel that their relationship is stronger than ever, while Quinn is going through changes in his personal life as well as his work life.
Quinn had to explain to Ariane and Liam what he was feeling so that their honesty in the relationship stayed strong. At first the receptions wasn't the best but they realized how important it was and gave Quinn their blessing. In the end, Ariane can sympathize with him and she tries to be the woman he needs but with more evidence of his dissatisfaction comes Ariane's insecurities. Being understanding was the hardest part of this story. And I felt that Quinn was rocking the boat but Ariane was stronger than most women.
The story line is so realistic and I feel that Lily has portrayed a story that is believable and sexy. She has the reader believing that having fantasy is good for any relationship.
The sexual scenes leave you hot and breathing heavy.

Please Shared first. Ten years on and Ariane still has Liam & Quinn in her life. And a perfect life it is - 2 beautiful daughters, living in the Countryside, enjoying life as an artist and living life to the full with her two husbands.
Out of the blue Quinn wants more. He wants what Ariane has - he wants to be shared. Can Ariane allow this to happen? Will she lose Quinn? Whist this is occupying her mind Liam's health is failing and she just doesn't see it till it is too late.
Can she keep it together? Will she manage to keep both the men in her life?
Oh the feels in this book - I was beside myself going through Ariane's emotions. Once again the chemistry is amazing. This book has scenes with m/f, mmf, ff, ffm and fmfm!!!

Good and Bad
I loved their story up until Quinn wanted Eve. Made me very sad that unlike Liam he truly did not love her enough to want to stay faithful. Commiting to a so called marriage where there is mutual Love menage or otherwise means you don't cheat and still supposedly Love that person and want them to join in. Sorry Liam had it right and was true blue. One day Quinn would want the fantasy again and then what she let's him again or they become a 4 some with Liam left out? Really? Comes a point when things go toooo far!

One of the very rare books I did not finish. But after loving Quinn in the first one, how the story went in this book made me ill. I got to the 'dinner' scene and was done.

Oh my sexy goodness! I have a love/hate relationship with this book. Just writing this review makes me feel angsty and conflicted. It's a sequel to the first book, Shared. This is still a menage a trois romance(ish) story, but it takes a look at Ariane's marriage with Quinn and Liam. It made me examine the definition of cheating and what makes a committed relationship. I know that each relationship is as different as the people in it, but still!
I thoroughly enjoyed the sequel aspects: Ariane and her men have two daughters, they've moved to a house, everything is cozy, yadda, yadda, yadda. I liked how angsty and dramatic things were, even though the cheating thing makes me a little ill. I was so worried about Liam, but I suspected what was really going on.
This story also has a new element that wasn't in the first - another woman. This is the first MFM book that I've read that takes a good, long look at how things work in a threesome after several years. It's also my first story that shows how off-balance it could be for a man involved in a MFM situation. Would he really be happy? The woman gets two men, but he only gets one woman. Is that fair?
Enter the co-worker named Eve. I don't like her. I don't like how she was flirting with a man in a serious relationship. I don't like how she hit on more people as the story progressed. I don't like how she used her job and her status in the medical profession to further her sexual escapades. (Not that I have a problem with the escapades, I'm reading an erotic romance. It seems unethical to me to use your job to find people to screw.)

Ugh. Quinn. You were my ex-pat American, sweet but stressed, smarty pants surgeon. I didn't think you would cause this situation. I mean, yeah, you're human, but really?! Then there's Ariane convincing herself this would be ok... But then Liam figured out a way to make things more... um... interesting. Oh my Goddess! I love Liam! I thoroughly enjoyed the sequel aspects: Ariane and her men have two daughters, they've moved to a house, everything is cozy, yadda, yadda, yadda. I liked how angsty and dramatic things were, even though the cheating thing makes me a little ill. I was so worried about Liam, but I suspected what was really going on.
This story also has a new element that wasn't in the first - another woman. This is the first MFM book that I've read that takes a good, long look at how things work in a threesome after several years. It's also my first story that shows how off-balance it could be for a man involved in a MFM situation. Would he really be happy? The woman gets two men, but he only gets one woman. Is that fair?
Enter the co-worker named Eve. I don't like her. I don't like how she was flirting with a man in a serious relationship. I don't like how she hit on more people as the story progressed. I don't like how she used her job and her status in the medical profession to further her sexual escapades. (Not that I have a problem with the escapades, I'm reading an erotic romance. It seems unethical to me to use your job to find people to screw.)

what a disappointment... This sequel ruined the the first book for me. I pity her for loving Quinn that she allowed herself to be that way after 10 years. Love is fragile and Quinn was selfish. Liam deserved her more. I guess being shared here means when one is bored in the amorous rel-ship, cheating is bound to happen and must be tolerated thus accepted and open to it. I regret reading it.

To Sequel Or Not To Sequel That Is The Question?
Shared Too is the sequel to Lily Harlem's Shared, now I have to say that I don't normally read sequels, once the happy ending has happened I like to leave it there I don't feel the need to go through the characters having a crisis only to get another happy ending. Honestly I'm such a wuss when it comes to angsty s**t, however, after a few minutes of deliberation and reading the reviews I decided to go for it. Yes I found it angsty and yes I cried, (I know I'm a large wuss) but I'm so glad I put my faith in the superbly talented writing hands of Lily Harlem. The story line was so good, I loved Ariane she was great, Quinn hmmm I suppose I still like him, Eve not sure about she had a few nice qualities but I found her to be quite a calculating character, but Liam I absolutely loved and adored that man and for that reason I'm very glad I read this sequel.
Ps I still don't get the need for sequels, but I would highly recommend this book!!!

Oh my sexy goodness! I have a love/hate relationship with this book. Just writing this review makes me feel angsty and conflicted. It's a sequel to the first book, Shared. This is still a menage a trois romance(ish) story, but it takes a look at Ariane's marriage with Quinn and Liam. It made me examine the definition of cheating and what makes a committed relationship. I know that each relationship is as different as the people in it, but still!

This was a great follow up to Shared. Ariane is a very lucky woman to have two husbands that please her every chance they get. While the girls are away they decide to make the most of it. Ariane always thought they had a wonderful life until someone had caught the eye of one of her husbands. Jealousy does make an appearance but only for so long until one night the threesome turned in to an all out orgy! I really didn’t see this one coming and once I did, I got my hopes up only to be shot down again. Lily is truly talented writer. I am hoping there will be another Shared book to come because I can never get enough of this hot married trio… I received this book as a gift from the author.

Wow! This book is a wonderful sequel to Shared. So well done, I couldn't put it down until I finished it. It is very hot but so full of the characters and their emotions, the reader is right there with them. Ms Harlem has taken a painful and difficult situation and made it work. An amazing story of love and trust in a committed relationship. A couple of lines were crossed that I feel may cause problems in any relationship that I would love see resolved in a 3rd book. A definite must keep and I will be reading both books again and the rest of Ms. Harlem's books.

LOVED IT! I was tickled to death to see a sequel yo Shared. It gave me a lot more insight into the lives of Liam, Quinn, and Ariane. I must say I'm not liking Quinn as much anymore. Both men sound absolutely yummy.but they are both very different. I would love to see another book involving more with the twins and maybe more babies. Lol. I highly recommend this book to everyone. 431 pages was great but it seemed to have went so fast I still wish it were longer. Lol. Oh and before I forget to tell you the sex is abso-freakin-lutely amazing!

This book is actually quite good, but...if you are sensitive about infidelity, the exact dynamics of Quinn's infidelity - which is what it is - will make you queasy. I don't trust him at all, and I'm glad Liam is around, because people like Quinn do not stop doing things like this, especially since Eve is the one who bailed. He doesn't like to not be in control of things, and he'll never let this one go.

Wow. What an amazing sequel to Shared. It takes place 10 years after the first book. The sex scenes are so hot, with the uniqueness of the two husbands and one wife scenario well described and realistic. I don’t want to spoil the plot, I’ll just say that I loved how Quinn’s wishes were fulfilled, how strong Ariane was in handling the changes in their relationship. I would definitely recommend you read the first book before this one. It makes the experience richer.

I found this book hard to review
I love the main characters .... Liam mostly but when Eve came to the house god dam I was mad , I wanted to shake them all .... There's no way I could share my husband or watch him having sex with another women
I think I went through every emotion reading this book , I was sad,mad,crying,turned on and relieved with the ending

When I first found this series, I loved the first book. I was excited for this book as well, but then I had to restrain myself when it came to Quinn. I had to push through and I admired Ariane as she handled it. It's very realistic. But I love the ending, it seemed perfect, a huge relief, and a perfect ending to the book.
