Good 101 info for bird owners- not a bird owner yet.

What a wonderful book, very enlightening if you're a pet bird owner. The information is basic, clear, but it also gives information I haven't found in other books, e.g. What to do with your bird on natural disasters. Sometimes it was a little bit repetitive, but I get owners sometimes need to be educated as if they were the bird.

A good start if you are planning to have a bird as a pet, but it is also useful if you already have one or have had one.

We recently got another bird and I wanted to read this just to refresh some things. I wasn't able to finish it this time, too many things have been going on, but I have read it before when we were going to get our first bird and it was super helpful. I've always loved the For Dummies books. I would recommend to anyone getting a parrot.

this is a really good book. it tought me all about birds. if you want to learn about birds you should read this book.
