"I Dream of Dragons I"

I received this book for free from Author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
As a fan of Marie Harte, I was curious about this Paranormal Romance series that features demons and dragons. This is a rerelease so I don’t know if changes were made to the original but the worldbuilding in this novella is quite advanced. I feel like there’s a lot of things in motion before the story starts and therefore, I did feel like I was dragging behind a little bit. Things move at a fast paced so I kind of wished there was more page time to explore the world and the relationship between the hero and heroine. But Harte does cover both species really well, leaving room for the other books in the series.
This is a short, hot read that has a bit of angry sex and multiple partners action. For the romance to be solid though, I would have liked to see more dialogue or more sweet moments between them before the story wrapped up. But I am looking forward to checking out the other books in the series.

Dragons, angels and demons, oh my! Eve Sinclair is a demon with an important job. She and her brothers give that little push to allow an ambivalent human determine their afterlife fate. Do they go to heaven or hell? It's up to the human. When Eve's prankster brothers go a bit too far with a joke on her, Eve is taken by the Dragons.
Dragon lovers, this is a story for you. Ranton is a high ranking dragon and he is pissed. Some demon stole his mother's egg and he wants it back. When he finds Eve holding the egg, all hell breaks loose. Did anyone mention this egg is special because it holds the future dragon king? Imagine Eve's surprise when she finds out and is left trying to explain this mess and make it right.
This is a tightly woven store with mischief and high erotic heat. Ms. Harte writes erotic scenes like no other. She is always dependable for cranking up the thermostat to smoking hawt. The chemistry between Ranton and Eve is fiery and argumentative. These are two stubborn characters who can handle just about anything. It's a blast to watch and readers should pop some popcorn and watch the fireworks between them. I thoroughly enjoyed the erotic aspect as well as the temper tantrums. The fun injected into this story as well as the kick butt characters makes this story a joy to read. From page one, a reader is hooked and won't stop until the end of the book. The world building is intriguing if left with many open questions. With a follow up book, hopefully the second one will expand upon the world building. This paranormal romance is recommended to dragon lovers who melt for an alpha male.
Eve’s a demon who finds out her brothers pulled a prank that could have long term repercussions if she doesn’t fix it STAT. So she rushes off to collect the dragon egg they stole, only to find Ranton, the leader of the dragon legion. And the egg. It’s a little weird, but eventually pervy romance happens.
The Good, The Bad and Everything In Between
The Good: It’s short (novella length), written well and it’s an interesting setup for a ‘verse. Plenty of sinfully smutty sex of the MF and MFM variety.
The Bad and Everything in Between: There’s ALOT of setup for this ‘verse, and not alot of pages to do it in. I really wish there had been more to the actual relationship than just sex. I know, it’s a short smutty read and I enjoyed it for what it is. Also, the menage between Ranton, Eve and eventually Jentaron had a lack of permanence I’m usually not a fan of, but in terms of this book, still enjoyable.
The Bottom Line I liked it. It’s a quick, easy read with MFM menage and a complicated universe of angels, demons and dragons (oh my). If that sounds like your kind of thing, check it out.

Well here's an unusual pairing , Demons and Dragons! Not what most authors give us but something completely different and yet it works . This is fairly short and well to be frank filled with lots of sex but if you are in the mood for a very erotic story then this author certainly delivers. Ms Harte has a way with words that transports the reader straight into the story . I really liked the playful Demon brothers and even Eves father was written as a character that felt more than one dimensional. I think that's what really delighted me as it wasn't just an endless excuse for erotic scenes but a humorous story that kept the punches coming. Oh and it's very unusual as not only does the fearsome General Ranton fall hard for Eve but also his brother Jentaron who for much of story is an egg! Yep expect the unexpected in this book. Eve is a Demon so maybe it's not such a departure for her to involve herself in a little ménage . Ranton is loud and quite brash so I'm sure some readers will find him a little too pushy but he is offset by the more loving Jentaron. I'd personally have liked a little more world building but as a short story it had great pace and an interesting plot. Lots of steam but the ménage ( which isn't really my thing) felt a little odd to me but it's fantasy so anything goes! I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review

The Dragons' Demon is a quick, highly erotic read.
Caught up in a practical joke Eve Sinclair's, demon, world collides with Ranton, dragon prince and warrior.
The sex is instant and explosive but the sexual tension just continues to build. What do they say, men think of sex every 30 seconds, these dragons and demons surely beat that timetable. If you are looking for a pure dragon erotica romance, The Dragons' Demon is the book for you.
I received this ARC copy of The Dragons' Demon from Samhain Publishing in exchange for a honest review. This book is set for publication June 9, 2015.
What I have found is that anything goes in her world. It is original, it is fun, it is sexy, it is sizzling, it is strangely erotic in this paranormal world, and you will need more than a long drink to cool down. There is plenty of action and sexfests. If you like something oh so sexy, spicy and erotic, steaming and exciting then this is a book you should grab and dive right in.
Unfortunately the typos continued into this, the third story I read, in the anthology. Other than that distraction, it was a good story. very different and interesting.
The Dragons' Demon: A Dragon's Dream is book 1 in the Ethereal Foes series. This is a reader’s paranormal delight. You have Dragons, angels and demons. Dragon lovers this is definitely for you; why you ask, since I am a dragon lover, this story has it all- drama, action, intrigue, passion, The Devil, good vs. evil, ménage action…oh my! Eve Sinclair is a demon who has an important job. She finds out her brothers pulled a terrible prank, one that could have terrible repercussions so she needs to fix things and Fast! She ends up kidnapped by Dragons as she is trying to fix their bad behavior mistake. Ranton is a high ranking dragon and he mightily irate. Some demon stole his mother's egg and he wants it back. Somehow he sees Eve involved and he mistakenly thinks she is tied into the mess. What Eve’s brothers did is mess with the future dragon king and everything is all messed up yet Eve is trying to make things right yet Ranton’s dominant personality butts heads against Eve’s. Then add to the mix sweet Jentaron. Oh lordy baby Jesus, their little ménage is quite steamy and adds to the story so by the end you are craving more of the characters introduced. I don’t want to say more because I would give too many spoilers away. What I can say is Ms. Harte is so very gifted in her writing, keeping the plot tight, characters relatable and the action jumping. I can’t wait for book 2 in the series to see what else takes place and who is the main character next.
My Rating: 4.5 stars ***** “I received an advanced copy of this book from the author at no cost to me."

Heather's Notes This book was short, but I enjoyed it. I am not sure how I feel about the ménage since it does not feel permanent. I feel like authors need to commit to it, or not do it at all. I really dislike these half hearted ones. Still the book was hot. I will have to decide if I want to continue or not.
About 80 pages of amusing porn without plot, pretty much what was advertised. Sexy candy. We've got (in no particular order): sassy female heroine demoness, hunky arrogant protective hero dragonshifter plus a brother that is introduced in the eggstage, hatches, grows to full maturity within hours and is just as randy as his older brother/guardian. It avoids the incest and squick taint because the newly hatched is no innocent because he inherits knowledge (he's the new king) and the brothers having no desire for each other, just sharing Eve. There are some homoerotic undertones with the secondary cast, some non-con vibes between Uriel (naughty angel) and Eve's brother and generally a sprinkle of naughty/kinky all around.
Do yourself a favour and read this great fun series. A good fun short read with prank playing brothers getting their sister into BIG trouble with the dragons. The fact Eve is a demon and can take care of herself is what makes this such a good read. Loved all the characters we meet and hope this series keeps being written. Cannot wait for the next book. I read this book ages ago but the author is rereleasing this series and without the long wait between books this time. I am more than happy to read them again.
I found it hard to swallow. The menage felt uncomfortable and vaguely incestuous (in a bad way). Little character development. World was unfamiliar to me and i get the feeling i was dropped in a middle of a long running series without a heads up. Intriguing, though. Possibly a longer story would suit me better.
Definitely more of a erotic romance than pnr. Sex to plot ratio was about 80/20
Probably a matter or personal taste...but i didn't enjoy it very much.
This was a short novella paranormal romance set in a world with dragons, demons and angels. A demon girl has to return a dragon egg stolen by her brothers. She is caught by one of the dragons and things get spicy. Great little story with lots of spice. Its the first book in a series, but this one was enough for me, as I'm not a big fantasy fan.
In true Marie Harte fashion, this was an enjoyable short story with some humor and hotness packed into a good introduction to the Ethereal Foes series!
A fun afternoon read!
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book, however, this is my honest opinion.
I started reading this book and only put it down to eat. The characters are fantastic. The author should be very proud of the achievements in writing this awesome book.
If you haven't read a Marie Harte book, run, don't walk to the bookshelf and pick up a copy. I like her contemporary romances quite a bit (several are on my 'read a second time' shelf, and her paranormal dragon story is no exception. Strong characters, good dialog and believable plots.
This is one of the best stories I have read in a long time. It wasn't boring,it kept me guessing with every page turned. I also liked the fact that it wasn't just one type of supernatural beings in the story. Its was just right in the heat of the story.
The plot is non existent. But it's okay. I wasn't looking for deep thought reading. Rather deep-throat... Interesting characters and universe. Alright erotica. Everything went to shit however and became ridiculous when the "I love yous" became thoughts in the MCs internal dialogue.
Holy shiznet!!! What a gr8 story. I can't wait to read the next book. I was so wrapped up in this story that I couldn't put it down. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up
I’m looking for the perfect porn. This was not it but good enough. I did enjoy the uniqueness of angels and demons and dragons and the ever so slight biblical references. Don’t know if I’ll read more of the series. I do recommend them though, based on the first book.
Weird spicy scenes with some incestuous content, reader be warned. Overall, once I got past that, I enjoyed the book/series enough to finish the 4 books, but it's definitely not my favorite nor my usual tastes.
