Charles Higham was an author and poet. Higham was a recipient of the Prix des Créateurs of the Académie Française and the Poetry Society of London Prize.
It was about time I read a book about one of my most favorite people. I only knew bits and pieces of her story. The full portrait, as told by Charles Higham, was stunning. Audrey Hepburn was a remarkable lady.
This was rich in detail and it felt like the author knew alot about the icons of the time. From Audrey's childhood in WWII to her first marriage. Only 3 stars because I read more than half and had to return to the library, but I like the way it was written.
