When three biologists are captured in the remote woods of northern New Hampshire and forced to make pornographic videos, they are surprised by their own response—biology overrides fear and inhibition and primal desire takes over. When they escape and resume their normal lives, they find the animal passions they conjured are not so easily forgotten.
Even though it was the young intern, Kevin, that Jessy was forced to be with during their captivity, it’s Conrad she’s crazy about, and has been since he took over the job as the fisheries crew foreman. After a summer of watching his gorgeous 6’5” body keep a cool distance, Jessy hopes the abduction has opened his eyes. Maybe he'll finally be ready to give a relationship a try.
But their kidnappers are not happy with the way their three porn stars ran away. Just when Jessy’s aimless existence seems to be finding focus—on Conrad—she finds herself the target of more dangerous games.
Humans are animals. And sometimes...they're prey.

Unfortunately, I did not like this book. The core story premise is unbelievable. The characters were one dimensional and the love scenes were rough and uneven, making it very difficult to read. I could not finish the book. Reviewed by Dreamy One 1 Divas
This was a very entertaining story, with a great plot, many twists and turns, and VERY HOT sex scenes. The story line was realistic and characters reacted in appropriate manner to situation. Descriptions of the characters and environments were excellent. I could easily visualize the characters and the places they encountered Reviewed by Hootchie 4 Divas
I've literally just finished reading Animals by Gemini Judson and I have to say I am not sure what to think. It is almost a weird psychological thriller and it is almost a love story and it is almost erotica. To many things going on to make any aspect really stand out.
The premise is good three good looking people get taken hostage and made to fuck for their lives. While being filmed, there is to much going on, way too much and it wasn't believable. The story, the characters it just didn't ring true. Jessy's emotional responses to being forced to have sex with a co-worker even if he was a nineteen year old Adonis especially didn't strike the right note.
It is really a very well written story, just the story line was hard to believe. I get the whole out in the wilds anything could happen but it was the anything chosen and the result that left me shaking my head and wondering.
The sex scenes were hot but it did leave me thinking if only there was more of them and less of the other stuff. That could be a reflection of my taste though couldn't it? More sex please less boring bits.
So to sum it up a well written, if not believable story, which didn't have enough of the animal sex promised by the title and blurb. This book scores three Divas because it was good enough to make me read to the end and gets a heat rating of Spark because there should have been more. Reviewed by Ali H 3 Divas
A fantastic reads "Animal" sex, danger and hidden romance are a few items. Which make this book a good suspense novel. The flow of the story was great. The author didn't just do a fill in here or there but gave the character's depth. I recommend this book to read if you're into suspense. Reviewed by John 4 Divas
Animal is a great suspense novel. The unusual knots the characters are thrown into are good. The plot is different and fits with this story. The dynamics of Jessy's crush on Conrad give the book some depth. The only problem I had with the book overall, is the lack of action. There was no true danger or crisis to pull the story. If you're into sweet, soft romance then this is the book for you. Reviewed by Tina 3 Divas
