About the author

Brant Parker was an American cartoonist. He co-created and drew The Wizard of Id comic strip until passing the job on to his son, Jeff Parker, in 1997. Cartoonist Johnny Hart, his co-creator, continued writing the strip until his death on April 7, 2007.

The first collection of Crock cartoon strips, the humor is similar to that found in The Wizard of Id and in Johnny Hart's B.C. strip, transposed to the French Foreign Legion in the Sahara Desert of North Africa. But it works and is often quite hilarious.

Ça a terriblement mal vieilli. Dessin sombre, à la limite de la lisibilité et humour souvent obscur. Bof.
