"I write because I love it and for no other reason. The minute I stop enjoying it will be the exact moment I will stop writing."
Anne Leigh is a 30-something-year-old who refuses to let the calendar dictate her age. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Nursing. She likes to write about strong women and equally strong guys who grapple with their emotions when faced with something as intangible as love.
She lives in Los Angeles with her husband. With her crazy schedule, she gets frustrated at L.A. traffic and needs an escape to keep her sanity, which her characters provide.
She did not think of publishing her stories and when she finally did, she's truly appreciative of every, single person who found the time to let her characters become parts of their world.
She appreciates all the readers who leave kind comments/reviews on where they purchased the book because without them, all her stories would remain locked up in her computer.

He fights not for honor but for redemption.
He lives by these rules.

For love.

EXCERPT:
Shutting off the shower, I stepped out of the stall, grabbed the blue towel, and walked towards the metal locker. Since one fight was scheduled per month and most likely only one fighter would be returning to the locker room – walking and breathing on his own anyways, I had no problems letting it all hang out while getting ready for the party that the winner was required to attend. I’d rather go home and catch up some sleep so I can train again tomorrow, but I guess I had signed up for this. I’d rather be at a party than at a hospital any time of the day.
Before reaching the locker, I suddenly felt tired. I dropped the towel on the bench facing the locker and sat. The clock on the wall showed 9:48. I had twelve minutes to get ready and meet the high-falluting assholes who were betting for me and against me. I wrapped my arms around my neck and bent my head down.
When did my life get reduced to this? How could I mess up everything? How could I do that to him, to her, to them?
Lost in my own thoughts, I barely heard the gasp from behind me. Barely. Who would be here? Everyone who’s anyone would be busy mingling and drinking their overpriced champagne while they gloated about the fight. I gave them a hell of a show. I knew they’d be talking about it.
“Sorry…” her voice came out as a shocked whisper.
I twisted my body around, facing the door.
Instead of hightailing it out of here, she slowly walked towards where I was sitting, her cheeks turning pinker with each step, her eyes directed at my head. I bet she just figured out that the only thing between me and the bench was the towel, no other articles of clothing present. Standing a few steps away, she stopped in her tracks, her hands fiddling with the small bag she had on her right shoulder, and her face almost full-on red now.
Her cheeks burned and she turned her head to the right, avoiding any more visuals of my current state of glory. “Umm…umm…I think I better go. I’ll see you upstairs.”
She turned on her heels, the quick movement causing her right shoe to get caught on the back of her other shoe. I jumped over the bench and caught her upper body before she completely fell on the floor, encasing her in my arms. Just as I was about to help her up, I felt a stirring down below. Fuck. I was completely naked still. Well, it wasn’t my fault that she was trespassing in the Men’s Shower Room.
Her head was still downcast, her hands were caught in between my grip. She slowly turned her face up towards me. Her gray eyes, the color of stormy clouds, looked worried. “Did he hurt you?”
I pulled us up to a standing position, ensuring that I had a solid hold on her waist.
“He’s the one saying hi to the doctors right now,” I said, trying to collect my thoughts and make sense of what was happening right now. She was the only woman who could make my blood boil and my veins freeze all at the same time when she rained insults on me.
She was tall for a woman, but at 6’4” I was still almost a head taller than her. I lowered my gaze to hers, and she bit the inside of her cheek, a small frown forming on her face. “I saw that brutal punch to your side… You need to get checked, you might have internal bleeding...the kidney’s a tender organ.”
My dick was a tender organ, but now it was becoming hard as fuck.
This was another Amazing... wonderful story from Author Anne Leigh. Ava has been life long best friends with Brynn. Bryan has a older Brother Milo. Ava has always Loved Milo but she has told no one. Milo is still trying to deal with them mess he created since the stunt with Kieran at the Olympics. ( Kieran and Brynn's story is in LOVE UNTOUCHED), since then he has been out of touch with his sister trying to put things right. Being ban for two years from swimming professionaly he turns to cage fighting it helps to run off the steam and try to clear his head. Ava and Milo keep running into each other and before you know it they can't keep away from each other, but Ava's father has other plans for Ava and they don't include Milo. Ava has a secret something her father forbids it getting out and holds this over Ava's head. He uses it to try and keep her away from Milo. Can the Love Ava has always had for Milo be enough to get her through the struggles and stress her father is holding over her or will she give in to her father's demands and give up on the only man she loves. This Author has done it again and given us an amazing story. I enjoy every book she writes. looking forwarded to more books from Anne Leigh.
Sorry, but I got extremely frustrated with reading about how perfect the h looked, how amazing her body was and etc. All of this from her own POV. This just turned me off and I have no intention on continuing down this road.
DNF at 50%. I couldn't generate any interest in disgraced swimmer now MMA fighter (though description was gorgeous) or wealthy daughter of an overbearing, cruel, sadistic father. Just left me blah.

I thought I loved Anne Leigh, and then I read Fight or Fall, and now I’m absolutely freaking in love with her. Fight or Fall is Milo’s story, which I’ve been begging her to write, well FOREVER!
Milo’s story is a lot more gritty than the other books Anne has written, and as much as you want to hate him from what he’s done in the past, as well as his attitude now, you fall madly, deeply, in love with him. Then there is Ava, she’s the princess of Las Vegas, has everything she could dream of, but there is something she wants, that she hasn’t had yet.. Milo.
Milo and Ava’s story is about learning to trust, fighting for what you believe in, and love, lots and lots of love. I loved Milo and Ava’s story, it was heartbreaking, hot, and well just freaking amazing! I loved the fighting scene Anne created in this book, and her writing was so descriptive you could see it in your head, and you felt like you were there.
There are some things in both Milo and Ava’s past that break your heart, the things they have gone through, and the secrets that they keep. When they finally open up to each other about these secrets, is it going to push them away, or bring them closer together? If you find the one person you love the most in this life, is it enough? Fight or Fall has these issues, and has your heart racing with if they will follow their hearts, or if they will leave.
The epilogue of this story had me in tears, literally weeping at 1am in the morning. Good tears, but tears none the less. Make sure to add Fight of Fall to your TBR list, you’ll love, hate, cry, and every emotion in between while reading this amazing 5+++ star book!
Fight or Fall wasn’t as sweet and innocent as the other books Anne has written, so I was a little surprised by it, but to say this is my favorite book of hers would be an understatement, it is one of my favorite books of all time. Anne’s writing grabs you and pulls you in and makes you want to scream for more. Anne Leigh is one of those authors that not a lot of people know about, but I’m hoping with Fight or Fall everyone will be bugging her just as much as me on Facebook, etc. for more books. She has this amazing way of drawing you in and not letting you go. I have loved all of her books, but Milo now holds my heart, he is amazing, and I know each of you will absolutely love this story.
I love all of Anne Leigh’s stories. They are sports related romance, and centered around friends and family members. Fight or Fall is Milo’s story, and I am so glad she wrote it. I wanted to know more about Bee’s misunderstood brother.
Milo’s story is a lot different than the other books Anne has written. And as much as I wanted to hate him for all that he did to Kieran in Love Untouched, I just couldn't, when the book started, I had already forgiven him in my mind.
Then there is Ava, Milo’s sister's best friend- the Princess of Las Vegas. She has always been in love with Milo, for as long as she can remember anyway, and she wants nothing more than to have him. But her rich and powerful daddy, will never agree to something like that.
Milo and Ava’s story is such a good story. They fight each other for a while until they can’t anymore. I loved their story- it was heart breaking, to see all the obstacles that Ava had to face. I really felt bad for her. And the fighting scenes that Milo was a part of were so well described as always.
There are some things in both of their pasts that could threaten to tear them apart. But ultimately they have to choose, will they fight what they have, or will the fall for each other? I am glad they finally tell each other the secrets that they both keep. It’s amazing how it brings them together. And it answers the age old question, is love enough?
I loved the epilogue, how sad it was- but it was also so poignant and well written, I forgave Anne for making me cry.
Fight or Fall wasn’t a chocolate sundae with sprinkles and a cherry, it was the kitchen sink of emotions, it had everything! I am hoping this book spotlights Anne and her other works. She has this way of weaving a story so well that when you look at the clock you can’t believe four hours have gone by. This is a fantastic story, you do not want to miss.
The books in this series may be read as stand alones, but I promise you will want to read them all.
TO THOSE WHO DONT LIKE THE BOOK. ITS NOT THAT ITS'NT A GOOD ONE, ITS JUST THAT THIS BOOK IS NOT FOR YOU. :) AND TO THOSE WHO LIKE TO READ THIS, I ASSURE YOU ITS GREAT. <3
First and foremost, i read this book out of curiosity. After reading post and comments about this book. Atfirst, i thought this was really a A STAND ALONE, which is really is it,but somehow become a part of Unexpected series because of the characters. But i didnt realize that the MILO here is the MILO of BRYNNE after finishing the whole PROLOGUE. :)
AFTER READING THE WHOLE BOOK. i absolutely love MILO, but i cant say who i love more between him, Zander and Kieran. xD they have their own mind, characters. I really, really love each of them. But what I love most about Milo is, he is super understanding with Ava's situation. He's being understandable feels like he's a masochist. Ava is like Milo, she cares for her family and friends. I admire her strength and bravery especially with her decision for what her father asking her to do. I F'n HER FATHER!!! LIKE, ugh. I WANT TO KILL HIM. :)
Once again Anne has pulled me in. Even though this book can be read as a stand alone, I would suggest reading the rest of the books in this series...because they are just as amazing.
At the end of book 3 - I was not a big fan of Milo AT ALL! So for Milo to get his own book and to have Ava be a part of it...ohhhh I was intrigued.
The last time we saw Milo was after he left Beijing and the disaster he created for Kieran and his sister Brynn. Now having been kicked out of the swimming circuit for two years, Milo is in Vegas and has found himself in the ring, fighting in a new type of Ultimate Fighting, funded by his sister's best friend's father. The girl who has been around for a majority of his life, is front in center and he needs her to keep his secret of fighting away from his sister.
Sparks fly between Milo and Ava, but their relationship needs to be kept secret until after the fight season.
This book is explosive with sexy banter and a story that will keep you saying one more chapter...just one more!
First book I've read by this author and I wasn't sure at first but the more I read the more engrossed and caught up in the story of Milo and Ava and how much the both of them had been through to eventually come through stronger and more determined. Definitely recommend reading this.
Ava is beautiful and tough representing her father’s company but her father has a noose on her neck. Ava had loved Milo her best friends brother since they were young but her father forbids her dating him. Will Ava defy him or give into the noose?
Fight or Fall is about a disgraced athlete who is trying to clean up his image and live his life. While there is Fighting right in the title, I liked that the book went a few other ways as well, we weren't inundated with fight scenes. Milo kicked ass and moved on.
Milo is looking for redemption from his fans and most importantly, his sister. He did something out of spite years ago and has been paying the price ever since. He hooks up with a Vegas millionaire and his crazy rich people fight club to make money until he can get back into his sport of choice.
Ava is the princess of Vegas and daughter of said millionaire. She is best friends with Brynn, Milo's sister, but never really got along with Milo. Ever. Ava is the face of her fathers empire, so instead of doing what she wants to do, she is jet setting all over to appearances and events for him. Deep down Ava just wants a normal life, to see her mother and to finally land the love of her life.
Ava and Milo run into each other at an event, he is warned away from her and she from him. Ava's dad wants her total attention on his business and how he is presented to the world. He wants Ava to marry a decent man and not waste her time with a washed up athlete. Milo has a plan with this fighting and when he is done, he is outta there, he isn't a fighter, it's a means to an end in his eyes. I am reviewing a bit vague as to not spoil the various story line details.
I just loved the back and forth with Milo and Ava, it wasn't annoying, but just the right amount of angst to keep me reading. They were so meant for each other, however it took them a while to figure out how to make their surroundings work. The book is well written and I feel it is very different than the other fighting books I have read, with so much going on around the characters.
Milo he appreciates a woman, but he really appreciates Ava, "my hand squeezed on her a** tighter, pulling her closer to me, letting her feel me, feel my unmistakable desire for her. She ground her hips against mine, and I wanted to rip off the scrubs covering her body. I urged, my voice probably sounding like the horniest guy in the universe, "let's take this inside." I loved being inside Milo's head, "Milo, are you okay?" Her question brought me back to reality. Since the time she kissed me, I'd been sporting this untamable erection for her. It didn't matter how many times I jacked off; my di** wanted to sink in to her." Milo he doesn't hide his feelings, "you said earlier you didn't think I still want you..." His voice raspy, like he was unable to speak, his breaths coming in pained uneven rasps. Without waiting for an answer, he took his right hand and fisted it against his co**. "Baby, I'm about to burst every effing day just thinking of you." Ava's thoughts were pretty interesting as well, "he laughed, his fingers twirling in the hair that I'd have to leave wet and un-blow dried because Milo, bless the man, did not own a blow dryer. When I had asked for one earlier, he gave me a confused look and said, "what the eff for? To dry my balls?" I love all of Anne's books and this was no exception.
Just when I didn't think I could EVER forgive Milo Tanner he totally redeems himself!! We first met Milo in Love Untouched, with my book boyfriend Kieran Stone. Milo was an a$$ and I didn't like how he tried to screw "my" Kieran over. So this book had to try to change my view of Milo. All I can say is that Anne succeeded!!! I fell in love with Milo! Even after he was a jerk to Kieran!
Anyways! Ava is awesome! She's fiesty, and is funny! Milo is really a softy! Just when I didn't want to like him, I couldn't help but NOT liking him! Normally, its the man that makes you want to yell but Ava made me mad when she left Milo! UGH! But have no fear it's all good!!!
The Next Generation Fight Club is just amazing! How they can fight in a climate controlled glass room was just wow! What a different way to have a fighting ring! Not like your underground or MMA fight books!
This book has it all! Love, lust, sex, fighting, laughs! You name it you got it!
This is a book that you can't put down and needing more! So what are you waiting for?!? One click it today!!!!!! You won't be disappointed!!
"Life is not made up of sweetness, rainbows, and sunshines all the time. Life is littered with bitterness, sad memories, and sunsets too. As long as you find the person who made all the crappy stuff better and walked with you through the fire, you realize that it’s worth it all. She was worth it all."
No decepciono!
"For her, I would fall. For her, I would fight. For her, I would live."
Y me encanto Ava.
I LOVED IT! This was my first book by Anne Leigh and it sure won't be the last one! Her writing style pulls you right into the story, as if you were standing in the same room of her characters. So many emotions, mysterie, hurt, sadness, but so much love as well. Milo and Ava are beautiful together, towards each other and the devotions towards their family.
If you like romance, with a hint of mysterie, but above all, a beautiful well written story, then this is your book!
Milo. Me encanto.
4.5 Fighting Stars! Disgraced Milo sure made up for it! He did what he did in Love Untouched to Kieran for a reason ... yes his reasonings sucked ... but he did it ... he regretted it ... and he tried to make himself a better man because of it! Milo and Ava are the perfect couple ... once they came together there was no stopping them! I just loved Milo and what he stood for and what he was accomplishing and what was at stake! Fight or Fall was quick sweet yummy read!! You will LOVE LOVE LOVE MILO!!!!
On a side note ... Ava's father Maxwell ... the way he treated Ava and his Analisa was horrible!!! However ... I truly feel for him and I wouldn't mind a little story about him Analisa and Simon!
I did and didn't enjoy this book. To me I didn't really feel the connection between Ava and Milo. I love the character's names but personally I did not like Ava at all. For some reason her character rubbed me the wrong way. She still came across as self centred and I just didn't feel any form of connection with her at all. Milo is hot, but I just find him that's great either. For someone to change from swimming, to MMA, then back to swimming just didn't click with me. I would have preferred him to stay with the MMA. I understand the reasons behind it all however I just felt there was a disconnection with the characters and their roles. Not a bad read and it will be worth your time however it just didn't raise any fanfare for me.
Milo has been barred from swimming, ripped away from his dream, because of a decision fueled by jealousy, hate, and even love. So he fights. He has to in order to save his other dream. His contract is with none other than Ava's father.
Ava's decisions are made for her by her tyrant father. He holds the one thing Ava loves more than her own life away from her, molding her into his puppet just so she can get a few precious moments with her mother.
Despite warnings from the big man to both of the two to stay away from each other, they can't.
What do they do when they have to give up one dream to save each other?

This one was definitely my favorite. It was so raw and emotional and I really connected with the characters.
A disgraced athlete. A tortured soul. A man betrayed. This is not your typical fighter story. In this arena where fame and glory are at stake, One man seeks to find the humanity he once possessed. He fights not for honor but for redemption. He lives by these rules. Break. Bleed. Fight. Live. For LOVE.
Warning: This book is intended for readers 17 and older due to mature language and sexual situations.
I honestly think that I have a serious addiction to books about cage fighting. This one is no different.
A disgraced swimmer and a socialite - they've known each other their whole lives. Now, they are falling for each other. What an unlikely pair but it definitely works with Anne Leigh's writing style.
This is the first book that I've read by her and I am definitely interested in reading more.
Fight or Fall is about a boxer that fights for a reason and shows that everybody should strive for a cause. This is his biggest fight and if he wins this fight then he can help the cause get better. The fighter wants you to stand up for what you believe and help a cause that you feel strongly about. If you like action, sports, fighting and drama then you should read this book. If your a teen through adults you should read this book.
