The amazing adventures of our friends, the Warriors ( special-ops agents for the President) continue as Zeb and the twins are involved in action right at the opening words!! Suspense, emotions and incredible acts drag you in and there is No letting go!!
This adventure is set in Iran and the USA, starting with assassins burning innocent folks in New York. The G2O summit is coming up shortly, and Zeb does Not believe in coincidences!! As he and the twins investigate, they start to think that terrorists plan to attack! From evidence they put together Zeb thinks he knows who is behind the this act, and understands that the plan is to drop the USA to it's knees...
The Warrior Team all work together to stop what they can, while attacking the terrorists themselves! Another amazing 5 STAR story from this wonderful author, Ty Patterson, who I thank for the chance to read an ARC and enjoy a fast-paced, action filled adventure!! By weaving an exciting scenario along with his familiar characters, Mr. Patterson knows how to entertain us. “Burn Rate” is a suspenseful story created by an author with a fertile imagination. Zeb Carter and his warriors are on the trail of a terrorist who plans to kill all leaders at the G20 Summit. Leads bring them to Iran and the head of the security force is their target.
This thriller is fast and furious we have not time to catch our breath. It is action packed and very intriguing and suspenseful. We have situations in this story that are quite believable and some maybe farfetched but captivating to read. Zeb and his team do their notorious deeds and escaped unscathed …. Awe and this interesting story filled with clever twists and turns bring us to a dynamic ending…..The team did it again….outsmart the terrorists and the gang behind them….
Once again Ty Patterson wrote a white knuckle thriller that flows well and is played out by smart characters. We have incredible descriptions and amazing details everything is so vividly written you may forget this is a fiction. Well-done.

Was fortunate enough to be able to read an ARC on this novel.
One thing is certain when you open up a Ty Patterson/Zeb Carter thriller. You won't be bored. This one is no different. Fast action. The only downside, is because it's a series, you know Zeb will prevail in the end. Usually with Zeb's own version of justice.

When Zeb Carter, Meghan, and Beth get carjacked outside their building by two children they had no idea the tangled web they were being drawn into. They find themselves in a race to stop a terrorist from assassinating the world leaders at the G20. From New York to Tehran to Israel, Zeb is playing with fire on this one. With help from some heavy hitters, you are taken along on this grand scale, plot twisting, thrill ride. Well worth your time to read.

What did I like? Someone once asked me if I realized that Zeb Carter was a fictional character, well I don’t want him to be. I want someone like him to be out there somewhere working for us. And if for just a few hours I get to have him on our side and saving the world from creeps and terrorists, well I can live with that.
What will you like? Another great read in a long line of books that just keep getting better and better. The more he writes the more complicated the plots and the unbelievable action just happens. The characters, Zeb and the twins will steal your heart and you can join me in that unrealistic world of having the good guys out there watching out for us. The incredible descriptions, amazing details, and astonishing action will blow you away! Great reading and just don’t forget to breathe! Burn Rate, being my first experience of a Ty Patterson book, was a unique and weird experience. The formula, narration, and plot structure are very different from the mainstream books in the Action - Thriller genre. While most Special-ops, Counter-terror books are gritty and brutal, this felt like a Young-Adult/Teen book and may not necessarily be a bad thing.
The plot is divided into two parts which can act as two different books which connect to each other. Here, 60% of the book from the beginning takes place in NY where Zeb Carter and his team of operatives investigate a series of arsons which lead to a major attack on the G20 Summit. They know it's going to happen but have trouble finding out who's doing it, how or why.
The team of covert operatives here work with the NYPD and the FBI to share resources. This is weird because a Black Ops team works with secrecy in the dark and never meets with official law enforcement.
I couldn't get much of the context of what the characters talk about or even get a feel of them as this book is designed for those who read according to the order of the series. Since I started with the third book in the second series of this literary universe, it was like watching a mid-season episode in a series without seeing the first few seasons.
The operatives have a supercomputer that is emotionally attached to its programmers and it has had relationships with other supercomputers. Though this was funny, it made the book not serious.
White Supremacists and an elite assassin work two separate sides of an attack in the first half. These plots seem unconnected but the mystery and suspense are shown quite well in how the Covert ops team faces these threats on two fronts.
The second half of the book, which felt like the sequel, is set in Iran and reads like a good counter-terrorism book. The planning and preparation which is done by a joint team of Americans and Israelis build the tension. But the foreshadowing in the plot makes it clear what's going to happen but how it's going to happen is a mystery until the end.
This is a light read if you want fun characters, minimum violence, and a good mystery to keep you curious. I hope the other books in the Zeb Carter series have a bit more action. But on the whole, this book is very well researched and the author deserves credit for that.

The Zeb Carter series is a great offshoot from the main Warriors series, although quite honestly this book would fit in either series as it not only features Zeb, but also the rest of his team.
The storyline is clever, original and very exciting with classic Zeb action scenes. Ideal for anyone who likes adrenaline fuelled international thrillers with some serious bad guys and some even more serious heroes.

Once again Zeb and his warriors take on the world ! Terrorists in NYC plan to attack the G20 summit. They are put in play by an old enemy of Zeb. This exciting story and it’s great cast of characters along with non stop in your face action means you won’t be able to put it down ! Another awesome story from Ty. Zeb and his warriors are must reads for action adventure fans !

Excellent Story!
Of you like action and fast moving stories, this is for you. Zeb is great in this third book and the rest of the team are all involved. The Warriors add to the story and working with the Israelis adds a lot. Zeb's relationship with the Mossad director is touching and funny. Patterson is a terrific writer and gets better with every book. Highly recommend!

Thank you for the ARC copy. I recommend this series. If you are a Vince Flinn or Lee Childs fan you will love Ty Patterson's books. Zeb Carter gets sucked into a hunt after being the victim of a random car jacking. There is lots of action and twists and turns to keep you turning the pages long past bed time.

Zeb Carter will keep you on edge wondering what is going to happen next. Quiet and omniscient he works his way through the mystery. Almost like getting two stories in one as the first challenge leads to another that is related but could be it's own story. Zeb and the twins are interesting characters that bring me back story after story.

I really enjoyed this action-filled thriller. Zeb and the twins are trying to stop a terrorist attack in New York City. But there is more going on. This seems like an account that could be lifted from classified documents - very plausible. I’m reminded of the Jack Reacher stories. If you like them, you’ll like this one. The narration was well done.

A great addition to this epic series. Set in both the US and Iran this almost feels like two books in one. Though number 3 in the Zeb Carter series the whole gang are here, including some old friends and acquaintances and it all makes for a belter of a rollercoaster ride.

Another action-filled story from the headlines. Started off with a bang and came to a good conclusion. I have to say, I was rooting for Tucker. Even a white supremacist can change his ideology. Good stuff!

This story is with the twins also dealing with a person who knows how Zeb thinks,an old adversary. The tools are revenge and fire. The target the G20 Summit in New York. Along with Israeli Mossad Director. Adventure, a few laughs comes with this fast paced story.
