Not quite what I expected. There is a lot of anger and bashing in the writing, not much humor or wit.
Also, most subjects are outdated, very 1990s. If you weren´t around then and conscious of (American) scandals, don´t bother reading this.

"viginia slims barbie dates tobacco lawyer ken"
"it rhymes with bitch: barbie at salem"
"barbie stein and midge b. toklas and their paris salon" ("papa ken - he's not gay, by the way, no matter what barbie stein implies.")
"j. edgar hoover ken shops at the barbie boutique"
""i don't have kids and neither should you if you plan on moving up in this company," she snapped as she placed her hands on her tiny barren hips. "and don't forget to smile, like me. i want happy workers. happy, happy, happy."" from "barbie boss from hell"

Super quick read. A nice palette cleanser of sarcasm, wit and weird Barbies everywhere.
