It was a decent beginners book. Much more focused on MXML than I was hoping for. It did get into ActionScripting, but not enough to be a benefit to me.

Definitely a book for beginners, but I would go with Colin Moock's book Essential ActionScript 3 by O'Reilly. http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/39...
