Very great reference material for any artist looking to improve on capturing the textures and look of fur and skin on animals using graphite

This book is full of very good, very accurate pencil sketches of a wide variety of animals, with some notes on what to pay attention to when drawing each species. There are also some blocked-out forms for motion and proportion. There are a lot of books along these lings, and normally I don't like them; ok, I can see you, the author, can draw...can you tell me how you did it? But these particular drawings are clear and simple enough that you can figure out how they were done (while still being awesome and beautiful), and, with a few odd exceptions, they're very accurate and a great tool for learning anatomy.
