A Fling or the Real Thing? Talented chef and entrepreneur, Chloe Redmond, is recovering from disappointment and betrayal in love. Seeking a new life, she leaves London for the Cotswolds, a place of charm, beauty and hopefully a place for healing. Romance is not on her mind, until she meets him - the mysterious and very sexy Max. He is unbelievably hot, and possibly hers. She’s suddenly caught up in a whirlwind relationship, but things are not as they seem. She knows he has secrets, things he won’t tell her. Can they survive or could another man rival Max for her affections? Could Jack, a gorgeous, cocky womaniser be the one to provide love long term for Chloe? Life and love can be confusing and overwhelming, but sometimes waiting can be worth the pain. Sometimes waiting can bring healing, love and happiness. 18+ for mature content and language.

I like to read books with a helluva good story as well as the superheated hot stuff, and that's the kind of thing I like to write.

The story is of utmost importance in my mind. The characters and details fit into that framework. And I take a lot of care over my characters and details.

I'm a self confessed love-a-holic, living in my heated imagination. Not that that's a bad place to be living, but it does make ordinary, day to day life, a little less than exciting at times.

I have to kick myself up the backside now and then and remind myself that books is books and life is life. LOL

I've read hundreds of books in a variety of genres - love, mystery, intrigue - and to be honest, I enjoy a little gruesome horror as well. Shocking, scary, downright gory really gets me going.

I worked in finance until a few years ago, and if you've ever read Hot Options, one of my books, you'll see a real glimpse of the old me in there. All the technical stuff is true to life.

My office is my comfy sofa and my even comfier bed. YES, it really is. I sit on my bed and type like a pro getting up to 5k words out on some days.

Thanks for dropping by :)

Absolutely LOVED how strong and independent the main character Chloe was in this story. It was very refreshing to read a book where the woman wasn't indecisive and naive. I breezed right through this book in an afternoon. Really enjoyed it.

Action packed

What would you do if you had feelings for two men? Chloe seems to have that problem. Can you really move on from a very hot and sexual relationship? Chloe is sure going to try, when she meets a man that at first just wants to have fun but it doesn't stay that way. What is a girl to do?

Every genre has its fans and followers, as well as dabblers and detractors. Erotica has been a growing genre for several years, perhaps more so recently thanks to a shot of scintillation thanks to so-called "mommy porn." (Fifty Shades of Grey, I'm looking at you!) As a reader and a blogger, I am an advocate for books, whatever gets your reading! That said, I don't read erotic fiction as much or as often as I read other genres. But, if a book is intriguing and has a captivating story, I'm willing to read and, hopefully, enjoy. Unfortunately, I didn't really enjoy K.M. Liss's Tied & Bound. Not because of any failure or missed mark by the author; just because it simply wasn't my cup of tea.

Tied & Bound is the story of Chloe Redmond. After walking in on her boyfriend and her best friend having sex, Chloe retreats to the Cotswolds from London. She starts a catering company and sets about mending her broken heart and re-building her life. Sort of. It's while setting up for a catering event when she meets Max, the kept man of an eccentric older artist. Chloe is immediately and strongly in lust with the good-looking guy. Soon (too soon in my opinion) Max and Chloe fall into a frenzied sexual affair. It's intense and possessive and, to me, largely unbelievable.

I think that is the crux of my trouble with the story. The sex seemed contrived and gratuitous. (Though, admittedly, the scenes are sizzling!) I'm not a prude; I don't oppose sex in stories. I simply prefer when a story establishes an emotional connection that fuels a physical connection. To men, that connection was missing in Tied & Bound.

Chloe's story is about discovering and rediscovering herself. But the story felt forced down a purely physical path, leaving Chloe behind while a caricature of Chloe Redmond experience a sexual spring awakening.

This review is purely the opinion of this reader. I was provided with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the tale of a young woman, Chloe, trying to define herself after the decimation of her life, as she knew it. Betrayed by her boyfriend and best-friend, she rebuilds her life -and herself- after a couple of sexy encounters.
Chloe is like-able, and young, and she makes mistakes - and is STILL like-able.
Max is dark, and sexy, and secretive...he has an aura of mystery. Together, they steam up the book and make it exciting. The erotic scenes seemed "generic" to me, but the chemistry was fantastic.
Just when you think you know what's going on, BAM! you're completely thrown for a loop.
AND in steps Martyn. Sweet, collected, sexy(of course), and smart Martyn.

This was a roller-coaster ride, of romance, sex, intrigue, and an ounce of mystery. Never boring, a bit predictable (at times), but none-the-less it was a fun, sexy read.
A solid 3.5 star book :)

Chloe is trying to redefine herself after finding out that her boyfriend sleeping with her best friend. The life she thought she had no longer exists. She needs to find out what she wants, who she is own her own. That's when she throws herself into her work. She meets Max and there is a sexy chemistry between them. Then she meets Martyn and there is also an undeniable hot chemistry there too. Add in Julian trying to win her back and this keeps you on your toes. K.M Liss kept me guessing and wondering who she'd end up with. Just when I thought I knew something would happen and I'd change my mind. I love being surprised! Loved the mystery and suspense added into the erotica.

This was written very well, in such a way I didn't have a clue where it was going. Until it happened! It was sexy, emotional, erotic, it had a little bit of it all. I would highly recommend. It definitely is a good read!

Well what can I say K M Liss,I was asked to read this book by a special friend that I have recently had the pleasure to meet. I have rated it five stars because I absolutely just loved it and couldn't put it down, and when I did all I was thinking about was where Chloe was going next and what was going on. Chloe is a very pretty independent woman who has had her heart broken, then comes the lovely fatherly Henry who made me laugh with his shall we say way of living. Then enter max who was hero material and I thought that was how the story was going to end,but no add a not so nice Helen to the mix and max leaves Chloe heart broken. Then the gorgeous caring loving Martyn enters the room,I think he's the best book boyfriend I've met yet! At certain points in this book I was so emotionally overcome that I could have cried, and I've never before had that with a book!
Miss Liss you do us readers proud with your writing expertise I can't wait to read more of your books. Well done you earned your five stars!!! Ps loved Charlie too!

This is by far my favorite of Katrina Liss' books so far! It was a bit longer than her other books, so it took me a couple of days to get through it, but I had to force myself to put it down in order to eat and sleep.

In this one, the leading lady has quite the hectic love life. She starts with a man who she finds cheating on her with her best friend. Then, she ends up with a man with a crazy life and strange secrets. What happens in the end was completely unexpected. For the first half of the book, I thought I knew exactly how it was going to end. I was sooo wrong! It through me for quite the loop. There were points where I was disappointed with how thing were turning out, but then they would change again, and in the end, I was happy.

I don't want to give away any more details than that, but I will say that I think anyone who likes a good erotic romance will love this one. Highly recommended.

Love and then heartbreak, how many times can you go thru it before you find happiness? Follow Chloe as she tries to find happiness. There is a little suspense and a lot of sexual chemistry in this book.

Characters: I easily connected with the characters and even loved some of the secondary characters, like Chloe’s neighbor Henry.

Sex: there was lots of sex but wasn’t as steamy as I normally like

Religious: no

Would I recommend to others: yes

More than one book in the series: no

Genre: Romance

Would I read more by this author: yes

"I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads."

The title of this book is cleverly interwoven into numerous threads running through the story. I enjoyed it every time I realised there was another use and meaning of the expression.

The story itself is excellent, with plenty of twists and turns, and drama, but also a lot of affection and emotion. The variety of male characters is fascinating - I developed quite a soft spot for Henry, her widowed landlord, and his kindly advice.

A really good read, which ticked all the boxes for me.

Between a 3 1/2 and 4

Chloe decides to make a change in her life after finding her boyfriend and best friend in each other's arms. A year later she believes she is ready to be with a man again.

This book has a few twists and turns, and Chloe does grow stronger as the book progresses.

This is a single POV book which I think had a lot to do with me having a hard time connecting with all the characters at the beginning. Chloe does have a warm place in her heart for her landlord Henry and I truly enjoyed their "relationship".

I received this book from a friend and this is my honest review

Enjoyable With Hot Scenes

This book is about Chloe and her search for love and happiness. Her mistakes are included, but what wonderfully hot mistakes they are. If you enjoy hot sex and happily ever afters this is the book for you.
