By focusing on the role and concepts of professional nursing, Conceptual The Bridge to Professional Nursing Practice, 4th Edition provides an in-depth look at nursing in the real world. Written specifically for students who are already RNs, it acknowledges the education and experience they already have while introducing new and exciting topics. The text covers everything from the history of nursing to modern issues in nursing, all of which will benefit students in the field.
The first couple of chapters were ok but I quickly lost the ability to find this book any kind of interesting or helpful. It just rehashed things if learned in my GERs and Financials is Nursing books. I was hoping it would address possible nursing careers but unfortunately, that was one dimension of nursing practice this book found unnecessary.
Read the bulk of this for class this semester. Pretty dry reading, except for the personal intros to each chapter. Good information, I suppose, if you can stay awake for it.
