Katie- Reckless was my middle name. All I wanted out of this small town was a little bit of attention, and that's exactly what I got and then some. Noah was my muse. He made my heartbeat in ways I never thought it would. But I was senseless and out of control. I wasn't the girl he wanted me to be so I pushed him away. Little did I know he would keep pushing me back. He took everything I threw at him. He never gave up.

Noah- I have loved her from the day I met her. Those dark coffee-colored eyes, that even with the smallest stare, could burn a hole straight through me. Her blazing feistiness that excites me and makes me want to punch a wall at the same time. But she keeps pushing me away. No matter what I do it isn't good enough. Little does she know, I'm not giving up without a fight. I'm determined to make her see that we belong together. That she is the piece that completes me.

This was a cute, small town second chance romance. Katie is sassy and strong. Noah, another swoony book boyfriend. I enjoyed reading about Katie and Noah’s relationship and how it started and progressed into something more. My heart broke for Katie and all the hardships she endured throughout this story, but Noah was right there by her side through all of it.

Katie and Noah spend the night together and it ends up with her getting pregnant. Noah willingly stays in town to attend medical school to be there for Katie and their son Alex. Katie constantly pushes away Noah because she feels like he hates her for keeping him in town when he could be getting educated at a huge school. After the loss of her mom, a huge storm, and a breakup, Katie sees how she’s been kidding herself these past few years and how much Noah loves and cares for her. Once she opens up to the possibility of being with Noah, all the pieces begin to come together.

ARC received in exchange for an honest review.

I received an ARC from the author in return for an honest review.
Pieces is a sweet easy second chance romance. Katie has had a pretty tough time emotionally and Noah wants to be the one who gets her through it, however, she has a boyfriend. This book is pretty hard to review without giving anything away as a lot happened, but not so much that it was hard to follow. I loved the character development and the family loyalty Noah had. He really would do anything to help those he loved. This story had a bit of angst, grief, second chance romance and domestic violence with a secondary character (not in real time just the aftermath). This is an easy read that I finished in a day.

Some books are really easy to settle into. Whether it be the style of writing, characters or the setting, you just feel like every time you return, it’s like coming home. Sometimes you get lucky and are able to get all three. I really enjoyed Pieces, loved the flawed characters with pasts that made them who they are. Both Katie and Noah had issues they had to deal with. I loved the evolution of Katie’s character, how everything was so black and white to her, she realized that things weren't as cut and dried as she tried to make them out to be. The author really had a way with making the reader feel the emotions the characters were feeling in the story.

An authentic, emotional, heart-touching story! This was well-written and interesting.

After recently reading one of Traci Sek books, this lovely lady was kind enough to send me over an ARC of Pieces

Yet another great read, Katie and Noah were so sweet together, when they weren't ripping eachother's head off because they thought it was better to act that way then admit what they truly felt.

First off I want to say that they already share a connection from the beginning of this story because they have a child together, Alex, who I want to say is such a cutie 🤗.

Throughout the book you get to read flashbacks of them meeting and how Katie fell pregnant which I really enjoyed, it was nice to get to know them a little better from there shared past. I felt sorry for Katie because she felt such guilt, thinking she had ruined Noah's life once she found out she was pregnant. So instead of telling him how she feels, she pushes him away, dating other guys thinking it's for the best and he will eventually leave and get the life she thinks he deserves.

Noah however has other plans, he doesn't want to leave, he loves his son and he loves Katie, has from day one, he takes every dig she throws at him and still stays because he's a good man. I loved Noah, he just wanted the best for his family and I felt for him when he had to watch Katie with her boyfriend Junior (who I instantly disliked) together.

I won't say anymore on what happens, so you will just have to go check it out yourself 😉. It's a lovely read and you can't go wrong with a second chance romance. It comes with it's fair share of drama, but that's what we love in a book, it keeps us on our toes.

Thanks again Traci for this beautiful story and I loved the music you sent over to listen to as well 🥰👌.

There were so many things that happened in this book so it's really hard not to give anything away. I was hooked right from the start. From page 1, Katie has a lot to deal with. Her journey is not an easy one. There are many obstacles in her way. Enter Noah who is always there for Katie, supporting her no matter what. They have a history together, but Noah wants to have a future too. He just needs to make Katie see that they belong together.⠀

I really liked Noah. He always put his family first. He was very driven, in the midst of pursuing his dream of becoming a doctor. It broke my heart with everything Katie went through. There were many sweet moments between Noah and Katie that I really loved.⠀

I wish the push and pull between Katie and Noah would have lasted a little bit longer. At one point I could tell something big was going to happen, but the book felt kind of in limbo. Not really moving forward as much as I would have liked. ⠀

This book has themes of grief, second chances, and finding happiness.⠀

Thank you Traci Sek for allowing me to read and review an advanced copy. This book releases December 1.⠀

Pieces is a sweet second chance romance. Katie has gone through so much and Noah wants to be her rock even if she has a boyfriend. The book was easy to follow and was paced out smoothly. The story has a lot of different emotions that readers can relate to. It’s hard to review this without giving stuff away. I really loved the story. The characters feel so real. Flawed, but that’s what makes them feel like real people. It was authentic and emotional, Well-written. I honestly couldn’t put it down!

Thank you Traci Sek for allowing me to read an advanced copy. This book releases December 1. I highly recommend adding this to your TBR list!

PIECES is the newest novel written by the talented Traci Sek. It's a lovely story of heartache and redemption. From the first chapter, I was routing for Katie, the young single mother whose entire life was turned upside down after the tragic dealth of her mother and a natural disaster. Noah is a the stand-up man who makes readers swoon. Together, Katie and Noah are magic. The characters are very releastic as they journey through being young parents, loss and aspirations. I found this story to be very relatable and uplifting. Ms. Sek writes a compeling story with awesome narrative. I can't wait to read more.

This wonderful story follows Katie, Noah and their son Alex. Katie is a reckless mess who can’t find her direction and always seems to experience loss. Noah is the father of her child but who she keeps at a distance to protect him but really to protect herself. He is loyal and selfless and always thinks of her and takes care of her. I was so happy when she finally realized what was in front of her. It wasn’t an easy road but they had each other to pick up the pieces.

Traci writes a sweet story of two people who made a mistake as teenagers but have a beautiful son to love.

Katie had a crazy drunk night and ended up with a beautiful baby boy. Noah, the father, was happy but his mother was upset and basically told Katie that she was going to ruin his life. He was going to school to be a doctor. He did stay in their lives but Katie and Noah did not have a relationship.
Katie is strong and a force to be reckoned with. She has had one hardship after another the ladt year. It seems everything is falling around her. Can Noah save her? Noah is the sweet boy down the street that would be the perfect boyfriend.

Can they admit to each other that they care for each? What can Noah do since Katie has a boyfriend?

I enjoyed reading this story. Small town second chance romance stories make your heart fell a warm & fuzzy.
