Joe tops for a living. He and his whip are famous, if he does say so himself, but he's never really met people who live the lifestyle that he creates for his job. Then he meets Vic and Robbie, the most intriguing couple he's ever seen. So when they invite him to come home with him, he doesn't even have to think before saying yes. They fascinate him. Vic is the top, a deaf ex-fireman with an intensity that burns so bright it's blinding. Robbie is the bottom, hot and handsome and devoted to Vic. Together, they show Joe that what he does for money can be real, and that he can find a place between the top and the bottom. A place where he belongs.
Sunshine and light breezes, the scent of sea-drenched skin, dewed-grass under foot. Cowboy hats, tuxedos, painted on jeans. Blue eyes, grey eyes, green eyes, crinkled at the edges eyes. Snow, rain, wind. Love in the morning. Love in the afternoon. Love in the evening. The sole of a man's foot, a working man's hands, a strong back, the curve of an ass.
These are a few of Mike's favorite things.

I like a good threesome but this just kind of didn't connect for me. Joe who gives BSDM ,demonstrations, hooks up after his show with Robbie, and Vic who is deaf. Everyone he seems to know (despite working at a BDSM club?) only plays at the lifestyle and he's fascinated that Vic and Robbie have a real D/s relationship. He ends up spending the weekend and before long they are hooking up every weekend for some hot sex.
I liked that Vic was deaf and had headaches and was not "perfect" but I found there seemed to be a disconnect between what Joe did on stage and the relationship. Plus, after he has a good session with his demonstration sub (not a couple) he just pats him on the ass and sends him off and takes off. Um. I'm not BDSM expert, but I don't think a sub that's just had a good thrashing is in any condition to just trot off to take care of himself. Anyway, that kind of bothered me.
It was okay, but I wasn't into it as much as I'd hoped. It had been a while since I'd read any m/m/m. Oh well, next one. :-)
One of my most favorite shorts, and one I read often when just the right mood strikes.
The DBSM here is given in only a hint - it's more about the dominance and submission given between Vic and Robbie, and even that is not usually on 'display.' It just ... well ... IS.
Joe fits nicely into the pair, the sex is freaking HOT, and the tenderness just kind of makes it all snuggly and warm all at the same time. A great in-between read.
Surprisingly sweet for a short m/m/m that has tinsy bits of bdsm. Well recommended for anyone that likes m/m/m but is in the mood for a quickie (story that is)
