A fantasy romance was what I wanted to read for a change in scenery!
Arianna had met Alexander in her dreams, six years ago. They kept meeting every night in her dreamland, they could talk but not touch each other.
As the years passed by, both of them fell for each other.
When things went bad at her home, Arianna took her sister and they left as to seek Alexander, based on the clues he had given to her.
They finally found Alexander, who later discovered he was the prince of Haven!!
The story was very intriguing, had suspense, magic, potions and elixirs, exciting twists and turns.
While I enjoyed it, I wanted further development regarding the plot line and the characters’ building.

I believe that I’m not the right person to write a review (if you can even call that a review) for a fantasy book anymore. I used to be obsessed with fantasy novels but not so much anymore.
Anyway, I wanted to read something completely different to all the books I’ve read lately and since I’m familiar with H.L. Swan‘s writing I thought I should give this a chance.
It was an okay read for me, but I wasn’t that invested into the story. I wanted more scenes with Ari and Alexander but I get that this is a fairytale so it has to have action in it.
Overall, it was a decent read and it was exactly what I needed right now. 3 ⭐

If you love fairies, trolls, witches, unicorns, princes and magic this book is for you!! Amazing love story with a fairytale twist. I loved every word of this book! I couldn't put it down! Strongly recommend!!

308 glorious pages. 26 chapters. 2 beings in love. A magical fairytale place. What more could you want? Absolutely nothing. This story is gripping from the start. What would you do when everything is trying to push you away from the one that you love? That’s what Arianna Castelle has to figure out for herself. I dove into this story head first and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. H.L. Swans writing just keeps getting better and better! Through bloodshed, magic and love, finding out where you belong is hard enough, but finding where you belong with your soulmate? That’s even harder. Arianna has one main focus and that’s keeping her sister Mia safe, when they start their journey trying to find Alexander; the mysterious man from Ariannas dream; they enter a world that is unlike any other. They find courage, bravery, but most importantly love, acceptance and a newfound freedom in a land they never expected to be. This book just comes to show you that no matter where you are in life, no matter what the circumstances might be, you will always deserve a better life. That parents can’t dictate your future and that the future is in your hands. Also add a fiercely hot male lead that’s commanding yet soft, and you got a great story. I could give you spoilers, but what would the fun be in that?

This story immediately grabbed my attention and once I started, I had a hard time putting it down! Haven takes you to a beautiful fairytale world, a place you could only dream of and in this case, that’s exactly what happened. Since she was 16, Arianna Castelle, dreamed of this beautiful place and her one true love, Alexander. For years he would come to her in her dreams, until one morning when she woke with the rose he gave her in the dream, in her hands. With her little sister in tow, she sets out on the journey to find him....
There is so much adventure and fantasy, mixed with heat, evil villains and plot twists! The writing is incredible and so is the chemistry between Arianna and Alexander! This story has a little something for everyone and when it was over, I just wanted more! Another amazing story by H.L. Swan!

H. L. Swan does it again with phenomenal plot twists when least expected and a few spicy scenes you'll love! The amount of detail that is written on every page is flawless, you feel like you're right there alongside the characters, experiencing their journey with them. I would definitely recommend this book to others.

Refreshing and new. I loved it
What a great adult fairy tale. Refreshing and different. Unlike any tales we've seen or read. What an amazing twist too!
I just wish it was longer. The last two or three chapters seemed rushed. Still amazing but would have liked to see it drawn out more.

Haven Is absolutely amazing! Breathtaking! The twist and turns had me on an emotional roller coaster that I never want to get off of! Definitely a new favorite! I love the adult fairy tale aspect! Something I have never read before! Absolutely unique!

Amazing!!
I started this book yesterday and finished it today!! I couldn't put it down!!! From the very beginning you get hooked and can't stop reading it!!! H.L. Swan books are amazing!!! You really connect with her characters!! Your emotions go on a rollercoaster in each book she writes!! You cannot wait til the next chapter arrives or a new book is published!! Haven had me all over the place!! The characters are amazing they compliment each other !! There are twist and turns and surprises along the way!! You will not be disappointed at all!! Also, read her other books!! They are all fantastic!!

Haven is perfect is so many ways just pure MAGIC! Alexander and Arianna are the story I didn’t know I needed like this seriously pulled me in.
I honestly couldn’t put this down! I literally read it all within the day! HL always has a way of pulling me into her stories and I just cannot put them down! This book was perfect.
I could give so many spoilers but what fun would that be?
Honestly! I recommend you pick this up and get lost inside the world of Haven things are not always as the seem.
Definitely a Must Read!! I know I’m read it multiple times

What a fantastic book!!! An amazing dive into fantasy!!! It's a world that reminds me of Wonderland, while being it's own unique land. It has twists you don't see coming. The love Arianna has for her sister and Alexander is truly heartfelt!! Totally resparked my love for fantasy!!!!

This was a cute easy read.
Had a lot of twists and turns for sure.
I wasn’t expecting the ending.
The characters could have been better developed and thought more into. Language kept throwing me off. A king saying babe and things of that nature had me giggling because I couldn’t picture a king saying that type of stuff. Lol. Overall though I enjoyed this little light read. :)

I've been following HL since I found her on #wattpadd last year. I fell in love with her first book, Aiden & have been following her ever since. Haven, an adult fairytale, is her newest release. Arianna meets the man of her dreams, Alexander, while she's dreaming when she was 16 years old. After years of only seeing each other in her dreams, she is finally able to find him & join him in his world- Haven. Unfortunately, the fairytale world isn't everything she thought it would be.
HL honestly blew me away with this book. I messaged her & told her so while I was reading! It amazes me how versatile she is with her writing- from steamy romance to fantasy. HL created whole magical world of fairies, unicorns, trolls, etc that we only dreamed of as little girls & made it into a 'grown up' love story complete with steamy love scenes! I can't say enough wonderful things about this book- definitely recommend!

“Alexander Hayes Thane, You’re my Haven on a storm” H.L Swan did it to me again with this stand alone title. This was such an amazing & adorable love story! It has everything you need love, loyalty, good & evil family! And we can’t forget Plot twists… that I didn’t see coming! The story itself was designed just like the fairytale it’s supposed to be. Arianna & Alexander we’re just amazing main characters and it’s a book I could read over and over again. So if your looking for a book with romance & want to step into a fairytale this is the book for you! ❤️ Also Mia is so adorable I can vividly picture her with Chloe in the gardens❤️

It's has been a while since I read a fantasy book revolving around a prince and princess and I'm so glad Haven was the first in a long time. From the moment I picked it up! I was intrigued by its characters.
Everyone always dreams about their little world and happily ever after, only to wake up and live their lives like any other day. However, Arianna's dreams come to life, when she and her sister escape to the world of Haven, where she finally meets the charming young man she dreams about every night. I wish I could say more, but you will just have to read the book to venture into the world of Haven with Arianna and Alexander! 🤴🏻👸🏼🧚♀️🍄🌙

this will always be one of my fav books by h.l swan probably as it was the one I didn't think I'd like as it's described as a "fairytale" but straight away I was in love with the charecters and the mystical lands. plus the cover is just stunning😍
