Yet ANOTHER life changing book!!!

This book is not what the title states, "The Art of Prayer: A Handbook on How to Pray." This book is about types of prayer and the author's own experiences with the different types of prayer. Throughout this book, the reader is told stories of how each type of prayer has been successful given the author's faith in God. It began explaining the types of prayer listed in the Bible and provided scripture to support them. However, there was no description of how to conduct the various types of prayer. Just story after story of the author's experiences.

Wow, wow, wow. There are very few books outside the bible that can revolutionize your life. But, The Art of Prayer is one of them! I have never read one of Kenneth E. Hagin’s book until now. But I can assure you that I will be reading more. The Art of Prayer, A Handbook On How To Pray, is a novel inspired through the Holy Spirit and Sound Biblical Teaching on the different types of prayer and how build your prayer life. I LOVED the amount of scripture that was found throughout the pages of this book. There is nothing more important than sound biblical teaching when it comes to spiritual disciplines.

Hagin walks you through each individual type of prayer and how to apply this to your everyday walk. You could almost feel the anointing come off the pages as your read through. This read did take me a long time to read. However, the amount of time it took me to read is not due to dryness or poor penmanship. The things you will learn about prayer through this book is for those who are hungry for more and more of God. One of my favorite parts of the book is where he talks about intercessory prayer and how he was awoken in the middle of the night. He tells of several testimonies of how God has used him to pray for others which everyone can easily relate to.

Out of all of the books I have read about prayer, Kenneth E. Hagin’s The Art of Prayer is my absolute favorite. I do not think there is a single page that is not marked on with highlighter or notes. If you desire more intimacy with God, The Son, and Holy Spirit through your prayer life, if you do not know where to even begin in prayer, or are someone that is found in the middle, I highly recommend this book. I can read this time and time again.

5/5 for The Art of Prayer!

Loved this book. It's written to believers with the aim of bringing to light the fact that there are different kinds of prayer and each kind will have unique circumstances where it will be applicable.
Kenneth aims to teach when to pray which kind of prayer and get people praying.

It is interesting how Kenneth Hagin emphasises the importance of persistent and fervent prayer the same way as Charles Finny. Though God heard Daniel's prayer the first time he prayed, it took the angel 21 days to get to Daniel answering his questions...How much more we should persevere through prayers and keep thanking God even when we can't see a clue...

This was a great book on all the different types of prayers. It included a lot of great and inspiring stories, along with many scriptures to correlate with his points. (all within context)
I would definitely recommend this book for any type of believer, it's good to be reminded in all the ways God has called us to pray.

“The art of prayer which includes intercession and supplication has been virtually lost on the church. Early day Pentecostals knew something about it; Second generation Pentecostals new a little about it; Thord generation Pentecostals know almost nothing about it. Charismatics know almost nothing about it.”

Every believer of the Christian faith needs to read this book!

Prayer is a formidable key to unlock the world of impossibilities. The place of prayer is the place you argue your case or better put present your case before the throne of Grace. And you can be sure to get an answer.

Brother Kenneth Hagin is one of my favorite teachers. There isn't a book I've read from him that I haven't learned something from. Excellent book!!

A book to read and reread again and again and again.

““Praying always with all prayer . . .” (Eph. 6:18). So we need all kinds of prayer. Let’s learn to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and see which way He is moving at the moment — what direction He wants to take. Then let’s just follow Him!””

This Book is a Life CHanger!!! Many people struggle in their prayer life because they don't understand different types of prayer and when to use what type . . . This book gives a clear understanding of prayer and how to use it to benefit you and those around you.

Just as amazing as all the others by Kenneth E. Hagin I've read so far. Understandable language, lots of real life stories to corroborate, with plenty of biblical references. Will read this one again and again for sure.
