Loved Liam & Alana's story. It was dark & intriguing just how I like it. This was a new author to me & looking forward to reading more. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book.

Well.. this is the first book I’ve read where the leading lady initially describes the leading mad as ugly! I know it’s not all about looks and stuff but still it kinda dampened it down a bit!
Alana is trapped as Vlads pet, Liam comes there to see a deal through, they end up getting it on.. #risky!!.. and agreeing to work together against Vlad. This is quite a dark story with murder (although tbh was rooting for all the bad guys to get what they deserved), abuse etc, it’s very dramatic also.
Things between Alana & Liam get hot and steamy and the ending was sweet.

There’s a new player in town and she’s the queen on a chest board; Lula Baxter had stunned me with her debut novel, literally swept me off my feet. But with this second book, she’s now reaching a new level on my “champion” list. Trespass is completely different, a lot darker than Dirty Player but damn.... DAMN! I’m stunned speechless. From the non traditional BBF in her corner, she amazingly breaks down norms, all pre-establishments and moreover, she’s outdone herself and deliver a story that surpasses all expectations. Trust me, Lula Baxter belongs with the best of the best; she’s a freaking star, reaching the title of my TOP favourite authors (with only a very small amount of names on it). Trespass is not what I was expecting, but I was still standing on the tip of my chair, chills all over my body, knots in my stomach.... in sort, a story strong enough to get you physical reactions with just words... You can trust me they are powerful. It’s dark, yet very smart, and I LOVE that she follows no standard rules; forget about the knight in shining armour, pretty face and sexy look every girl would want, Liam doesn’t even come close to those labels; that makes him even more attractive because its not only refreshing, you cant help but FEEL Alana as she falls for him, because you do to. And you also suffer with Alana (Jesus, Lula makes her so real in her devil’s den that you just suffer right there with her). All the hate, the anger and desire to see her win her battle are just some of the few feelings Trespass raises in us. But that’s the thing; its done brilliantly! Twists and turns that makes you incapable to put it down.... And its the second time Lula is able to do this with me: make me an addict craving for more until the last word of the epilogue. Lula Baxter is definitely a name you should watch; because she’s a new queen in town.

Liam is in Monaco on business to collect from Vlad, who owes a ton of money to keep his past business dealings quiet. Meeting Alana Lane, Vlad’s plaything is not his business, a mantra he is fond of repeating to himself, though he was admittedly drawn to her from the start. However, things are not moving along as he wants. Liam decides that he needs more information, and Alana is the only one who might be able to help as she is close to Vlad. But it won’t be that easy, as Alana wants a huge favor in return, one which will hopefully free her from her pretty prison at Vlad’s side. Any reluctant desire between them burns away during an intense encounter, which changes everything between them. When Liam finally learns of the abuse, pain, and humiliation Alana has suffered due to Vlad’s almost-daily power exchanges, Liam vows to make him pay in more ways than one to free her from her deal with the Devil…as well as claim Alana for himself. As soon as he can figure out what Vlad is planning, he is going to strike, but it may just be too late to get the girl, the money, and the hell away from Vlad.

Tresspass follows the story of Alana a beautiful American girl which is sort of sugar baby, pet/toy to a ruthless Russian Billionaire Vlad. Alana's has an abusive and complicated relationship towards Vlad. Then one day Liam Brennan shows in the picture Vlad introduces him to Alana as her new body guard replacing her last one. First this two really hates each other but that did not stop lusting for one another.

So Tresspass for me I can considered the story kinda slow burn and has a Forbidden element with the right amount of action. Tresspass is been with my tbr for such quiet a long time and I'm so happy that I'd finally read this because honestly the story plot is good and very engaging.

And Ms. Lula Baxter is a very new author to me as well, and one thing for sure this is not the last book that I will be reading by this author. In fact this is just only the beginning.

If you love reading a bit beauty and the beast with an element of Forbidden love/affair and an action drama this one will definitely peek your interest.😊

Trespass by Author Lula Baxter is much more than a book about love although love is found. It's a story not for the faint of heart as it's about meeting, living with, and surviving pure evil. (There are multiple scenes of physical and psychological violence toward a woman as well as humiliation toward a woman. I'm not lying when I say they were tough to get through.)
The characters seem a little unevenly developed. Liam from Boston we seem to know a lot about. We know his upbringing, how the mob boss became a quasi father figure to him. On the other hand I didn't feel we knew as much about Alana other than having a Grandmother in a nursing home in Phoenix, and thought Vlad was handsome in the beginning.
The antagonist, Vlad was pure evil and was written as a full bloom psychopath. Good work!
RECOMMENDATION: If you are not bothered by the graphic violence then this is a book I think that fits that whole mob, dirty money genre. There is a HEA that is sweet and a little funny, but enough said.

Trespass is so much more than a book about love and romance, although love is found eventually. This story is not for the faintest of hearts as it's about encountering, living with, and surviving pure evil.

There are multiple scenes of physical and psychological violence as well as humiliation towards a woman. Honestly, this was tough to read at times. That said, this book was intense, powerful, raw and will keep you on the very edge of your seat.

Liam and Alana have an instantaneous connection upon meeting each other. Their mutual attraction and chemistry was off the charts. They were good for each other, and needed one another.

Alana has been through absolute hell and to see her become stronger, brave and resilient after overcoming extreme suffering and anguish gives you a whole new appreciation of her.

After an explosive conclusion, I did feel that the ending was quite rushed and wanted more of an insight into their love and their eventual life together. I personally felt that the epilogue didn’t achieve that which let the book down slightly.

Our heroine belongs to Vlad, bought and paid. Our hero just wants to do his job. But sometimes things don't go easy.

This is a dark romance with harsh elements of D/S and some abuse. There is also some mob-style violence as well.

But, if these don't bother you, the underlying story is excellent. The characters are strong and well developed, each with a strong sense of self and what is needed to get through the day. The story line is also good, with intrigue, mayhem, and some steamy sex scenes all of which mix to produce a page-turner. Once you get started, you won't want to put it down. And it all wraps up with a nice HEA.

Highly recommended.

A gripping read well written dark romance that has violence in it along with triggers that may bother some people. The characters are strong and well developed, each with a strong sense of self. Liam and Alana have an attraction and strong chemistry that includes an instant connection, making them good for each other. It was dark, twisted, suspenseful, filled with different emotions, intrigue, mayhem, and some steamy sex scenes all of which mix to produce a page turner wrapping up with a nice HEA.

This was a pretty good story. I quite liked the hero and while I sympathized with heroine and was glad to see her get a happy ending I can't say I liked her. I definitely didn't dislike her, I was indifferent, I guess if that makes sense? Anyway, the story had a lot going on and most of it unpleasant. After everything these two went through they deserve their happily ever after. Enjoy.

Not as intense

Reading the reviews I consoled myself that with KU I could return it and just get another. But based on other “dark romances” this was quite tame. The majority of the upsetting storylines takes place “offstage”. There was one instance of forced copulation, oral, that was central to the plot, but could be upsetting. The two lovers were trusting and together with no real reason why. Certainly not the worse of the genre, but far from the best.

This book kept me up all night reading, there was no way I could put it down.
The characters were so raw, evil and broken, that you could not help but want to see Vlad to take his last breath by the time I got to chapter 17...

This was indeed a very dark story. It was fascinating though to read the story as the author created the characters and the story was revealed as each page was read. I enjoyed the story although at times, it was difficult to read because of the abuse she suffers. I thought the author did a wonderful job of crafting a mesmerizing story.

This is such a different type of romance read, in a good way! Liam is not your typical handsome heroine, which makes it even better. He's handsome and sexy in his own way. Then you have the beautiful Alana who is going through hell after selling her soul to the devil Vlad! Until she meets the one person she did not think in a million years will become her ally.

To see Alana find her inner strength to fight for herself and get out of the horrible situation was incredible.

My only negative - I felt the book ended quickly after an explosion of scenes and would have love to
have read more of the outcome of Alana and Liam.
