My five year old chose the stars after I explained the rating system to her. While I know she enjoyed this book I read aloud to her, she said she liked it OK so she chose 3 stars. I think it was a cute beginning chapter book.

My first grader decided she was done with picture books and ready for chapter books and these were the books she chose for me to read to her. I was not excited to read these and it honestly took me a while to get into the rhythm of the story and all it's sugary sweetness. Thankfully they did grow on me as we went along.

I'd say these are just so/so read alouds but my daughter who these books are aimed at thinks they are amazing.

We do have the 4th book in the series but when we finished book 3 she decided she wanted to have me read something different to her. I'm assuming someday soon she'll want to return to this series but she's done for now.

If you have a 6-8 year old they would likely enjoy these stories too.

I love reading these stories with my daughter. I like the little hidden lessons in them. Sure they are very gooey, sweet stories, but I see nothing wrong with that.

My eight year old reads these, usually in one sitting. She gets so excited to find out what's happening next. Any book that fosters a love of reading in this life of electronic everything deserves five stars and more.

I would like to thank the author for writing something that keeps my daughter interested and has her asking me if she can read on my kindle.

The title is called Rainbow Swirl because in part of the story some of the berries in the book turn rainbow colored. I liked the book because it had some of my favorite things: fairies, candy, planting, rainbows, and parties. It also sounded yummy!

O and Daddy have been reading this series. O enjoys them, Daddy says they are nowhere near as good as the Fairy Bell Sister series.

I remember loving this book back when I was 10 and now I'm reading it to my little sister, and she's absolutely crazy about it.

In the morning, Raina fed the animals, then she went for her meeting with her friends. She talked about Candy Fair and how much she wanted to win. She had done lots of research and done lots of care for her berry bushes that she would use for candy at Candy Fair. But, a huge storm came and she was stuck in some licorice vines and Berry got her out. But when Raina saw her berries, they were mixed colors unlike last time, when the berries were different favors and just one color. But the rain mixed the bushes together and made the berries mix colors and Raina was sad. But instead she won Candy Fair and was the first gummy fairy to win Candy Fair.
