Squeeze A Novel by Carl Conversation Starters

Squeeze Me, a novel by Carl Hiaasen, kicks off with the mysterious disappearance of Katherine “Kiki” Sparling Pew Fitzsimmons, a 72-year-old widowed socialite, during the annual White Ibis Ball. The ball was held for the benefit of the IBS Wellness Foundation and was attended by people she knew well. The victim, Kiki Pew, was a well-known member of the Potussies, aside from having a personal net worth of a few million dollars. She has been widowed twice like most of her friends who were also members of the Potussies. She disappeared after a bartender fixed her Tito’s martini with the required orange zest and triple olives. The incident was reported late to the police because everyone thought that she left the gala on foot in her drunken stupor and wandered off.
Squeeze Me is Hiaasen's latest book—and likely his last in Trump's era. It has received rave reviews and acclaim from both readers and critics. It has been listed as a New York Times Bestselling book and as a bestseller on Amazon. Additionally, it is an Editor's Pick for being one of the best books on the Mystery, Thriller, and Suspense category on Amazon. The book is available as an audiobook from several distributors in addition to the usual hardcover, paperback, and eBook formats.
