I only needed her to be with me for a year, but how do I convince her to stay?
No one knows me better than Faith. When I'm in the biggest fight of my life. She is the only one I think to turn to. It was only supposed to be temporary. I never imagined I would fall in love with her. Or want to make her mine. Whatever Cole asks of me I will do. When he asks me to marry him, I can’t say no. Despite the fact that I'm in love with him. And I know he'll never love me. He says it will only be for a year. But how to I convince him to make it forever? The Billionaire’s Temporary Marriage , is a billionaire friend to lovers fake romance with plenty of heat with a guaranteed HEA and no cliffhangers!
MacKenzie Stowe began her love of reading and writing when she was very young. A hopeless romantic she likes to write stories about hot handsome men and the strong women who tame them. She loves her boyfriend, chocolate, wine and her animals but not always in that order. She is happily living in Sunny Southern California as she thinks up her next romantic story
Cole begged his best friend Faith to marry him for a year so that he could get his shares in the family company. He promised her that he wouldn't sleep with anyone during that time. When he took her to his private island, she came into the kitchen and caught him coming on to one of the staff members. He told her that he only did it because he wanted her (Faith). So, she slept with him. 🙄🙄🙄 DNF

The premise is tried and true: a horrible, millionaire/billionaire father dies, and the only way his son (our hero) can receive money or keep the company is by staying married for one year. The son marries a woman and the two fall in love.
I liked it, but I did think about DNF-ing it in the beginning because it wasn't anything special. I've read a few books that did this same plot a lot better.
I also felt like the book had zero editing. Luckily, no words were misspelled, but there were a lot of unnecessary and missing commas.
This is the second audiobook I've listened to by this author, and so far, I'm not terribly impressed. The title and subtitle of this book are a bit misleading. While the idea of a temporary fake marriage is undoubtedly a theme, it doesn't actually happen. I’m not wild about what definitely seems to be a current contemporary romance trend: giving books misleading titles, evidently hoping to capture people who like particular tropes. The book's plot felt uneven. The author didn’t show these two as true friends much before things got intimate. Once they became intimate, that was all the story was about. The heroine was way too insecure about the hero, given how strong she appeared in other ways. If she could read a situation negatively, she would. She overreacts constantly and always assumes the worst. She doesn't even believe him when he speaks to her from his heart. It became tiresome after a bit. For some reason, some chapter titles were partly cut off, especially the ones by the male narrator. The author used the same couple, I believe, to narrate the series' first book. As in that one, I didn't think the female was a good choice because she sounded far too young, which made chapters by her—especially the ones detailing intimacy ad nauseam—a bit cringe-worthy.
I received a promo code for this audiobook, but that did not affect my review.
The Billionaire’s Temporary Marriage is book two in this storyline of three brothers whose father suddenly passes away leaving a stipulation in his will that his son’s must marry and stay married for a year to collect their company shares. This is brother Coles story who is dead set against the terms but has no choice but to capitulate. Having read the e-book I enjoyed this audio book version that was narrated by JD Tomlinson and AJ Clarke whose style and perspective give this Contemporary romance the emotional depth that makes it come alive for the listener. There is only one woman who can steer Cole through this newest dilemma, Faith the company’s Director of Public Relations and the best friend he had grown up with. A temporary marriage, fake relationship, and at years end they can part. But neither expect the consequences that come from that decision because Faith is already in love with her boss and Cole will soon be right there with her as the drama, humor, family dynamics, spice and passion turn these friends into lovers while delivering a wonderfully written story that translates so well into this delightful audio version in all the best possible ways.

We were all aware that there was a 90% chance I would not enjoy this one. But I had it on my kindle and I liked the brother in the previous book (which was so bloody boring - the book, not the brother) and I decided to give it a chance. BAD DECISION!
This is more or less the first book all over again... Cole stops being funny like he was in the first book and turns into a cardboard version more or less similar to his brother (only he is not a workaholic, I guess). Faith stops being the fun and confident woman from the first book and turns into an insecure person who always finds a reason to doubt Cole and not believe him - why the fuck would he lie?
Needless to say I will not read the final book in the series. I have no interest in it.
On the brighter side, this was not as boring as the first one - at least they did some stuff and things moved faster, but the spicy scenes were still bland and flat.
This is Book 2 of The Billionaire Series. I have read Book 1 (and loved it), but they are interconnected standalones, so you can follow along even if you haven't read/listened to the first book (but you should, you'll enjoy it! 😉)
I enjoyed Cole & Faith's story... they have been friends for a long time, work together...and both are secretly in love with each other. I enjoyed the tension, slow burn... push & pull as they figured things out through a fake marriage/marriage of convenience (to keep his inheritance he had to be married for a year). I'm glad they finally figured things out!
The characters in this series are so well written & relatable. I enjoy them all & look forward to the next book!
I loved the narrators, they did such a fantastic job & the book was easy to listen to.

Audiobook Review Overall Story Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️ (2/5) Narration Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ½ (4.5/5)
Review: I went in expecting a fluffy billionaire trope, but I was surprised by the emotional pull between Cole and Faith. Their friendship foundation made everything feel so much more real. Sure, the “marry to inherit the company” setup is tropey as heck, but it was done in a way that actually gave me butterflies instead of eye-rolls.
Narration: Great chemistry between the dual narration, really elevated the story
Would I recommend: Yes! If you love billionaire romances that blend fake marriage hijinks with friends-to-lovers angst, this one’s for you. It’s heartfelt, swoony, and the narrators made the chemistry come alive.

Book 2 of The Billionaire's Marriage Trilogy. The book can be read as a stand-alone, but I recommend reading in order of the series to get the most out of it. The stipulation in the will is overturned, however they realize their in love and go forward with the marriage. The narration was well done. This is book 2 in Stowe's The Billionaire Series and can be read / listened to as a standalone. Well written and beautifully narrated, this romance is captivating from start to finish with a smooth flowing storyline and characters that are relatable and have great chemistry. A friends to lovers storyline that is a great balance of sweet and steam. Our main characters are Cole and Faith who are brought to life by the talents of narration duo JD Tomlinson and AJ. Clarke. Very much looking forward to more in this series!

The Billionaire's Temporary Marriage is a charming follow-up in Mackenzie Stowe’s series. It was such a pleasure to watch Cole and Faith’s story unfold; their transition from a "temporary" arrangement to a deep, genuine connection felt natural and sweet. Stowe does a great job of building the tension while keeping the story heartwarming. If you enjoy a well-paced romance where you can truly root for the couple to find their happily ever after, you’ll definitely enjoy this read!.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I love these story. Great characters that will pull you into their story. Cole and Faith are best friends who would do anything for each other. They have strong personalities, panty melting chemistry. This story has a little drama, heart, hope, love and forgiveness. The story flowed effortlessly with a few twists and turns that well keep you glued from start to finish.
Audio Review: The Billionaire's Temporary Marriage (The Billionaire Series #2) by MacKenzie Stowe, Narrated by JD Tomlinson & AJ. Clarke
From heartache to forever is never smooth sailing, but Stowe brings the senses alive with her masterful characters. Cole and Faith seduce the heart with the unpredictable and the emotional twists that love takes them on. Through the eyes of these characters and the voices of Tomlinson and Clarke, we find the soul of romance.
Mackenzie Stowe wrote a wonderful billionaire romance. J.D. Tomlinson and A.J.Clarke did a wonderful job with the narration. The story is entertaining, interesting, and romantic. When Cole asked Faith for a temporary marriage and she agreed. Will the relationship remain temporary or will it become real? what will he do after he falls in love with her? Will she feel the same? Listen to find out. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.would recommend
Good read. He needs her to do a fake marriage for a year so he can save his business. She is so in love with him she doesn't hesitate to say yes. But it hurts along the way as she thinks he will never love her. There is excitement, emotion and so much more. I recommend it. I received a review copy and voluntarily review it.
Cole is the playboy of the brothers, the bachelor of the brothers but he have Faith. She's the best friend, always there and when he need a wife Faith said yes. But this arrangement shake their core and make them see what they truly need in life. I enjoy reading this book and recommended it.

It’s a cute best friends to lovers book between Cole and Faith. I read the first book about the older brother Ryan and Mika, was good. Excited to read the third book of the other brother Ethan.
Please don't use the name of Jesus Christ as a swear word in your books. Why don't people use Allah or Bhuda but you use the name of my Lord in vain. Please respect Him even if you might not believe in Him.
3.5 stars - Liked it enough to read the other 2 in the trilogy. Some of the dialogue in the steamier scenes seemed a bit flat but enjoyable enough storyline and likeable characters.
Loved the best friends to forever story. Cole and Faith are an amazing couple with so much chemistry. Loved the story and how it unraveled. Very well written.
Outstanding writing of scene details. Great characters and excellent plot. I really enjoyed this book. I’m looking forward to the others in this series
I’m really couldn’t get into the book. It was the repetitive use of the word “had” I gave up after page 15. Maybe I’ll come back at a later date and give it another try
