About the author

Nils Ofstad lives outside Trondheim, Norway, together with his family. He is a senior lecturer and has begun a doctorate which he does not seem to complete, ironically, since the field of study is motivational psychology.

'Squared Away' (Norwegian: Helt Nils) has since August 2007 become one of Norway's most printed single panel cartoons with a permanent place in the success magazine Pondus and in a thirty-number Norwegian newspapers. The panel is packed with madness, absurdities and more or less sick ideas.

Since early childhood, he has had an interest in the UFO phenomenon, and in particular Norway's world-renowned UFO hotspot 'Hessdalen' which is a two hour drive from his home. He has published one book on the subject (Hessdalen Lights, 2019), and is currently preparing a sequel.

Nils Ofstad's "Squared Away" offers a visually appealing and lighthearted escape with colourful cartoons and playful design. While the humour may not be groundbreaking, it provides a pleasant distraction. If you're looking for a quick and easy escape with a bright and colorful aesthetic, "Squared Away" might be a good choice.
