She broadened her skills through newspaper articles for palliative/hospice care, then technical writing for developing professional manuals and teaching aids for health care workers. It was her twenty-year profession as a registered nurse that took her to exotic places such as Tahiti, Egypt, India and the Middle East where she worked and lived amongst people of different cultures. Canadian born, M.Doreen currently resides in the US with her husband and yellow lab, where she pursues her passion for creative writing.
