The easter island is a real place and it was once home to the Rapa Nui people. this is something i learned after reading this book and Im so happy. I found this book pretty interesting. There are so many mysteries in this islands and Geronimo came to help solve one of the mysteries.Geronimo was trying to find the treasure hidden in this island but he didn't know there were other people finding for the same treasure. Bad People. They were pirates . they were really mean and the kidnapped Thea so they could find the treasure and sell it for a lot of money. My favourite character in this book is Thea Stilton because she is the one who told everyone about this fantastic mystery. i rated this book a 4 stars because Wild Willy was showing off his tricks. in the starting it was cool but later on it just got annoying because I think Geronimo and his friends should have said ok we get it you are cool. My favourite part was when the evil rodents ran its because it looked so funny .
Going back to the classics once again. A fun read filled with riddles, adventure, treasure, and, of course, one scared mouse! I really enjoy reading Geronimo Stilton and the author's pun game is incredible. Not only are the stories fun, they're also incredibly informative!
While working at a public library, I saw books from this children's series go out fairly regularly, so I figured I would pick one to help familiarize myself with the series. It was an interesting and quick read, not bogged down by a lot of detail or confusing action. The pace kept the story going, and as usual for a kids' book, the characters were rather cartoony and goofy at times while also teaching the reader a few things. The illustrations are admirable and clearly reflect what's happening in the text, helping earlier readers to grasp the plot points. The different color and font of certain words in the text was odd to me; I'm guessing that this was being used sort of like italics but for children, where concepts are "highlighted" to "enrich" the story? As an adult, I found it a bit distracting but I while I was reading, I tried to appreciate what the publisher probably intended with it. I picked this particular book because I have visited Rapa Nui and wanted to revisit the island via a book. Much of the depiction of Rapa Nui was apt and enjoyable for me, while certain parts of the story were wacky and necessary to solve a mystery. Potential readers should also be prepared for many mouse and cheese puns. One thing that caught me off guard was the amount of world-building at the end of the book with the maps of New Mouse City and Mouse Island (it seemed a little overkill to me, but it does help enhance the setting for young readers, especially with the amount of books that this franchise has) but I figured this was just another way for the author to include more of their mouse and cheese puns. After reading, I looked up the author (who is Elisabetta Dami), since there was nothing helpful regarding authorship inside the book. According to the Toronto Public Library, the original publisher wanted the readers to believe Geronimo Stilton himself was real and wrote the books himself. Very cute.
In this story, Geronimo Stilton's sister Thea Stilton goes to find a treasure of Easter Island, but is caught by pirates, who are greedy and ask Professor Von Dustyfur to find the treasure for them. He find the treasure of Easter Island. The pirates imprison the Professor and Thea. Fortunately, Thea had written a letter to Geronimo informing him that she is going to Easter Island and if she does not call him within 2 days, she is likely to be in danger. Geronimo along with Susie and Trap, his cousin brother goes in a plane with Wild Willie to look for Thea. What follows is a journey full of adventures and Thrills.
I loved this book and am looking forward to read more in the series.
Geronimo’s little sister, Thea went to find treasures. But, she totally got by thieves! Geronimo got letter from Thea. It was saying if she didn’t call before Geronimo get this letter, she might be lost! Geronimo called Thea, but she didn’t answer even though she always answer her phone. Anyway, he knew Thea was in trouble! He wanted to save his litter sister, But he didn’t want to take adventure anymore!
This one was super interesting! I’ve always thought that Easter Island was super mysterious and I was under the impression that not much was known about who founded it and the history of the island. After reading this, I now understand that it’s really not all that mysterious at all! You learn something new everyday!
Dear author, I loved your books sooooo much! The words are soo fantastic, it made me feel interest, wanna read on. Geronimo stilton’s books are amazing, my favorite part of it was every time when trap came in the story. Woah trap is soo funny.I hope you make more of Geronimo sires.
My favorite part of this book was when Geronimo Stilton lost his way to Easter Island because it was very funny. It’s about Geronimo and a girl mouse named Susie Shutter-mouse. It was Geronimo’s friend. Someone was following Geronimo and Susie. Who could it be???

spring (well it’s technically summer) cleaning means rearranging my bookshelf and revisiting some good old stuff. this one was such a fun read and unexpectedly very informative! i learned quite a lot of cool facts about easter island or rapa nui (its native name). overall i was very entertained :D
It's the best book for kids to start up with their reading habit. I still remember when I bought it from the airport while traveling with my parents when i was a kid and this book just made me so interested in reading stories and novels.
