Never Walk Alone

Rate this book
This true story is about how Gavin Peacock and Alan Comfort both started their careers at the same professional club, but later clashed in opposing teams. They both moved to the North-East, where football is religion, but suddenly Alan Comfort left the game, almost unable to kick a football.

They both shared a common faith, yet one has achieved footballing fame while the other has entered the Church. This book tells about being a Christian in a competitive world and about the joy and tears of two high-profile sportsmen. Alan MacDonald is the author of "Films in Close-Up" and "The Essential Christmas Book".
