Bayleigh graduates from high school and with her boyfriend Jace by her side, she feels like life can't get any better. That is until Jace and her mom suggest some plans for Bayleigh's future that she's not too thrilled about. As long as she can win them over to seeing things her way, life will be great again. Or so she thinks. This book may contain language and suggestive situations that aren't suitable for younger readers.
Amy Sparling is the USA Today Bestselling author of books with swoony first loves and heartwarming endings. She lives on the coast of Texas with her family, her spoiled rotten pets, and a huge pile of books.
By day, she works as a librarian, and by night you can find her curled up with a book–either one she’s reading or one she’s writing.
Amy Sparling is the pen name of author Cheyanne Young, but she’ll answer to either name!
It did not get better. The FMC Bayleigh is whiny and a brat all the time. She's overly jealous, she can't even handle her boyfriend breathing around other women. She constantly has tantrums whenever she doesn't get her way. Bayleigh keeps saying she's an adult now, but she doesn't act like it. She's very immature and worries about the wrong things. She hasn't had any growth through this whole time and now she's supposed to be going to college?? Her relationship with her mom only got better because her mom is too busy sleeping with her new bf now to deal with Bayleigh being exhausting and dramatic all the time. Bayleigh and Becca are like 14 year olds whenever they get together, all they do is talk about boys and sex and parties and other shallow topics 🤦🏾♀️ She doesn't care about anything but herself and what Jace is doing. Hell the girl doesn't even want to go to college she just wants to get paid to watch Jace work tf? AND SHE CAUSED JACE TO QUIT HIS OWN JOB CUZ SHE COULDN'T HANDLE BEING HIM BEING IN THE SAME VICINITY AS OTHER WOMEN. Free Jace from the shackles of Bayleigh, he could do so much better. Jace and his patience are the only reason this is getting 2 stars. And you're telling me in the next book that instead of getting therapy or maturity or even common sense she gets engaged AND a baby?? This is a joke right? This series has the worst writing, depth, and characters I've ever seen. Good thing the first 4 books were free cuz absolutely not. The series may not be done but I sure am🤞🏽

Story is great but it's frustrating that Bayleigh's attitude didn't change as the story progress. She's too much of the jealous type from the start till the end, I got sick of her attitude when I reached the last two books of the series. Overall, great plot just wish for better development in the characters personality.
Finally!!!! last book. I was expecting a more mature Bayleigh but not same whinny/drama queen/ annoying/ pain in the butt girl. Nothing new there. Jace as always trying to kerp the peace and keep Bayleigh to make something little sush a huge deal. That boy has the patience of a Saint and he will need it.
I read one of the reviews which said it was surprising how Bay doesn't change through time and even after graduation she stays the same jealous, sensitive, insecure girlfriend. I agree and that was something that bothered me the most as I was waiting for Jace's patient to wear off! It wasn't a bad read I guess.
bayleigh is still the same after 4 books with only a tiny bit of growth like you should know by now jace is obsessed with you (god knows why) but GIRLY IS PREGNANT AND ENGAGED AT 18?? what lol 😭😭

Book 4 begins with Bayleigh looking forward to her graduation, and is anxious to attend Becca's (her best friend) graduation party at an awesome beach house. Her mom has a steady boyfriend named David, and that union has her mother encouraging Bayleigh's relationship with Jace, her hot motocross boyfriend. In fact, their first anniversary of dating is coming up very soon! College really isn't one of her concerns because she doesn't think there are any career worthy subjects to study, but she doesn't want to be a loser or liability, so she is eager to find a job. She is hoping Jace will ask her to move in with him once she graduates, and she wants to contribute to the household. That is when she gets a huge surprise from her family and Jace, and receives her graduation present of her own car, but there is a catch! Her mom says she can move in with Jace if she promises to attend the local community college. What??! How dare she decide on what Bayleigh should do with her life? After all, she is 18 and can make her own decisions about her life. Besides, Jace hasn't even ask or mentioned anything about her moving in with him, so it is so embarrassing that her mom would presume! But Bayleigh has bigger problems. Jealousy rears it's ugly head again, big time, and she can't seem to get ahold of it at all! With Becca telling her that you can't trust any man when it comes to other women, and encouraging her to check out his phone or email, Bayleigh fears she will become one of those annoying, naggy girlfriends. It isn't easy since Jace has girl after girl constantly flirting with him. It is going to take every bit of effort she has to trust Jace, even though he says he loves her and only her. If she doesn't, she could ruin their future together. Does she have the strength to give this relationship a chance?
Holy summer romances, do I LOVE this series! I keep assuming the worst endings possible for each of the novels in the Summer Unplugged series, that a happily ever after isn't guaranteed, but each time, it definitely is! Kudos to Amy Sparling for making me cheer and cry, smile and ugly-sob, and act like the world's biggest psycho-for-books cheerleader that's ever graced this planet. I KNOW Bayleigh and Jace will have their happily ever after, they both deserve it, and I'm far from ready to let go of this series. I know Bayleigh and Jace's wedding will be perfect in all the best and chaotic ways, and they'll make great parents if Bayleigh is, in fact, pregnant with Jace's baby. Fantastic job, Amy Sparling!!
I really liked the series I wish we had a story about there wedding and if bay is pregnant and I'm confused what the book was talking about as becca story
the book was amazing and the ending was so beautiful I didn't want the book to end I don't really read books but it was awesome and spoiler alert he proposes
Bayleigh's jealousy and cheating imaginations about Jace is clearly what again make up the content and plot of this book. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
Spring Unleashed is yet another great volume in the Jace and Bayleigh series, and once again Sparling kept the characters easy to relate to. The events that these characters live through are as relatable as ever, and it's easy to take the advice in the book and apply it to my own life.
At the end of the day, Sparling does a great job of making her characters feel like real people going though real, regular life events. These books give a down to earth vibe with a touch of daydream (because who wouldn't want to date a famous motocross racer?) that the reader is sure to love.
I thought that this book was very good. I found that this book was entertaining, easy to pick up on and was good for a quick read. Even though I find the series quite repetitive, I still am looking forward to read the rest of the series. This book is great for people who want to be thrilled with exciting romance with Bayleigh and Jace.
Totally hooked and there’s more books in this series! Yay! Bay Leigh can still be jealous and Jace is a little too perfect but it’s just such a cute and sappy little young adult romance. I’m just gonna have to keep reading!
Can Bayleigh ever stop being so jealous. It just got annoying. Being insecure to an extent is okay. But it just goes overboard. Only this made it a little boring. Otherwise the story line was solid. It could have been made into getting hurt or sad rather than jealous always.
1.5* i really thought bayleigh would have matured by now but somehow she keeps getting worse?? i wanted to get into this enough to finish the series but bayleigh throwing a fit over every little thing drives me insane
This was an okay story, but once again Bayleigh was jealous and insecure, and Jace spent the entire book trying to work out what she was upset over, time and time again!
I like the storyline, but Bayleigh is annoying as h*ll with her jealous dependant a**. Her character needs to grow more especially considering how sweet and understanding Jace is.
I seriously wasted the last 4 days of my life reading the first 4 books of this series.. Why? I don't know. I should have stopped at the first one but truly thought the characters would improve...
Such a great book. The love story is so cute. With just enough cheesiness. This story reminds me a lot of my own. Moving in with my boyfriend and me actually getting pregnant🥰
